Soulja Boy Arrest Publicity Nightmare for New Film ... Or Is It???

Soulja Boy had 10 big interviews lined up today to promote his new documentary ... instead, he's locked up in jail ... and it just might be the best thing that could have ever happened for the flick.

In case you weren't aware -- the documentary "Soulja Boy: The Movie" is being released on DVD today, and the rapper was supposed to spend the day pushing the movie during plastic-smile interviews with various media outlets.

Problem is ... Soulja's still locked up in a Georgia jail on marijuana possession charges ... and we're told, his PR team is going haywire trying to figure out a new marketing strategy on the fly.

But their work may already be done ... because truth is, Soulja's movie wouldn't have gotten a fraction of the attention it did today if he wasn't sitting in a jail cell ... with his mug shot plastered all over the Internet.

The director behind the project -- Peter Spirer -- tells us, "I'm not sure how this will affect the movie ... Hopefully he gets out from this situation to get his movie out everywhere like he wanted."

Still, we gotta ask ...

Octomom Film Debut Takes Knife to Throat

A bloodied Octomom came dangerously close to slitting her own throat recently -- but thankfully, it was all just a stunt for her new low budget horror movie.

TMZ broke the story ... Nadya Suleman scored her first acting gig for a fright flick directed by Kevin Clark and Manzie Jones called "Millennium" -- in which she plays a woman impregnated by a demon -- and now, we've obtained the first teaser ... starring Octomom herself.

There are no words.

The auction -- organized by a group called Propworx in conjuction with Marvel Studios -- just went live on LiveAuctioneers.com ... and it ends October 22nd.

If you want to bid, you better have cash -- because the Whiplash suit alone is expected to bring in between $5,000-$8,000. Thankfully, the suitcase is valued at a more affordable $2,000-$3,000.

You can't put a price on material happiness.

Milla Jovovich Visits Wounded Zombie 'She's In a Lot of Pain'

Milla Jovovich went to a Toronto hospital last night -- to spend some time with one of the female "zombies" who was injured during an accident on the set of "Resident Evil" earlier in the day.

TMZ previously reported ... 16 movie extras who were dressed as zombies were hospitalized yesterday when a piece of the set suddenly shifted ... causing the actors to plummet 20 feet down the to ground.

According to Milla, who tweeted after the accident, 15 of the zombies have since been released ... but one woman named Akiko remains hospitalized for injuries to her back.

Milla wrote, "Thank god she's moving her hands and feet and not in critical condition."

She added, "I promised her that I would come and see her every week while I'm here to give her support and strength in her recovery. I can't believe she said she wants to come back and finish her part, she's incredible."

'Resident Evil 5' 16 Zombies Injured During Accident on Set

16 actors dressed as zombies were injured this morning during an accident on the Toronto set of the horror flick "Resident Evil 5" ... but the costumes were so gory, officials had a tough time assessing the REAL injuries.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the actors were on a set that was on wheels ... when the set suddenly moved, and the 16 actors plummeted roughly 20 feet down to the ground.

We're told none of the injuries appear to be life threatening -- but some of the actors are being treated for arm, leg and back injuries -- and possible broken bones.

All of the actors were transported to a local hospital.

TMZ has learned the Toronto Police Dept. and the Ministry of Labor are investigating the situation.

Brad Pitt Cops Swarm Movie Set In MASSIVE Gun Raid

Hungarian police raided the set of Brad Pitt's new movie today -- confiscating a massive stash of high-powered guns ... including AK-47s and sniper rifles ... filled with live ammo.

According to Hungarian authorities, the guns -- which were to be used as props in Brad's new zombie flick "World War Z" -- hadn't been properly disabled, and some even contained live rounds.

Authorities seized 85 weapons in total from a warehouse in Budapest -- and called the entire situation "a disaster waiting to happen." Brad was not present during the raid.

A publicist for the film claims ... "We are working with the authorities to resolve the matter and have no further comment at this time."

TMZ placed calls to several people in Pitt's camp -- including his production company and his manager -- so far, no word back.

Octomom Impregnated by a Demon

Nadya Suleman is breaking into Hollywood by taking on the role she was born to play -- a woman impregnated by a demon.

Octomom is starring a low-budget horror film called "Millennium." Octo plays a woman named Vanessa, who visits a haunted house with her friend Brad and his date Jessica. But turns out Jessica's a demon (yes, there's a plot hole -- Octo getting knocked up by a female demon).

According to Octo's manager, doing this film makes her eligible for SAG health benefits -- which means she'll cut her health care premiums in half.

It's called selling your soul to the devil, but it works for her.

John Wayne "True Grit" Golden Globe Sold at Auction

John Wayne only won one Golden Globe in his career ... and it just sold at auction for a whopping $143,400.

The award -- for the classic 1969 film "True Grit" -- was one of 700 different items (awards, costumes, documents) put up for auction by Wayne's family.

A portion of the auction proceeds will be used by the John Wayne Cancer Foundation to help fund treatment, research and education.

Amanda Knox's Dad The Lifetime Movie Is B.S.

Amanda Knox's father Curt Knox claims the Lifetime movie that depicts his daughter as a violent murderer is "bulls**t" -- and there's a lawsuit pending in Italy to yank it off the air.

Lifetime originally aired the movie back in February -- starring Hayden Panettiere -- and Amanda sued shortly after, claiming the movie exploited her and contained several "implausible" scenes.

Obviously, Amanda's murder conviction has been overturned -- and Lifetime has since edited the movie to reference the updated ruling.

'Arrested Development' Coming Back for One More Season!!!!

"Arrested Development" creator Mitch Hurwitz announced today that the show will be coming back to television -- five years after it was cancelled.

Hurwitz said the show will do a "limited" season which will show us what the characters have been up to since the show last aired ... which will then lead right into the planned movie.

There is no official deal in place yet for where or when the show will air.

N.W.A.'s MC Ren John Singleton Has the Right Attitude To Direct N.W.A. Biopic

One of the most sought-after roles in Hollywood right now is directing the biopic of rap group N.W.A. ... but as far as original rap member MC Ren is concerned ... there's only one dude for the job -- John Singleton.

Ren tells TMZ he has been in touch with Ice Cube and lobbied for Singleton. Ren says Cube agreed.

Singelton, certainly has the cred to do an N.W.A. flick, with "Boyz N The Hood" under his belt. Ren says, "He knows L.A. He knows the hood and understands it. That is what the director will fully have to comprehend to do a N.W.A. film."

Apparently he didn't see "Abduction."

Rival Maccabee Producer Rosh to Judgment ... We're Gonna Beat Mel Gibson!

Mel Gibson's Hanukkah movie is in trouble -- TMZ has learned, another company is currently making their own Judah Maccabee film ... and they're racing to beat Mel to the punch.

Sources close to the production tell us, the untitled Judah film -- by producer Bruce Nash and writer Scott Abbott -- was fast-tracked once news broke that Mel was putting together his own Maccabee homage.

We're told Nash believes Mel is the wrong person to helm such an important Jewish story -- telling friends, the Hanukkah tale should be told by someone who has respect for the Jewish community.

As we previously reported, Mel's been developing his J Macc film for 10 years -- and sources tell us Nash has been working on his for 15. Nash doesn't have a shoot date yet, but the race is on.

Eazy-E's Son Gunning to Play His Dad In N.W.A. Movie

Eazy-E's son says there's a "high probability" he'll play his famous father in an upcoming Hollywood movie about the legendary rap group N.W.A. ... telling TMZ, "I'm the perfect man for the role."

TMZ spoke with Eric Wright Jr. -- aka Lil' Eazy-E -- who told us he's "very excited" that New Line Cinema is moving forward with the flick ... which is set to be produced by Eazy's former N.W.A. group member Ice Cube.

"Who better to play him in the N.W.A. days?" ... Lil' Eazy said ... adding, "Like father, like son -- no makeup needed."

The 27-year-old -- who's trained with an acting coach in the past -- tells us he's already been in contact with the movie producers ... but he has yet to formally audition for the gig.

Wright was only 11 years old when Eazy died back in 1995 -- but he tells us, "I know I'm just like my dad."

Robert Loggia Shoots Down "Scarface" Update

Say hello to a little controversy -- because Robert Loggia (that's R, as in Robert Loggia) says he's STRONGLY against the "Scarface" update that's reportedly in the works.

In case you haven't heard, Universal Pictures is rumored to have started production on a new "Scarface" project that's being described as an "update" from the 1983 classic.

According to reports, the new movie is supposed to contain elements from the '83 version (man becomes drug dealer, kills a bunch of people, etc.) ... but it's not a sequel or a remake.

But Loggia -- who played drug lord Frank Lopez in the Al Pacino version -- tells TMZ, "Scarface is a classic that should rest in peace! Nuff said!"

Justin Bieber I Really Am ... "KING of the World"

Justin Bieber will almost certainly get lucky tonight ... because TMZ has learned he just surprised girlfriend Selena Gomez with the most romantic surprise ever.

He's corralled the entire Staples Center in L.A. for a screening of the movie "Titanic" ... just for the two of them.

Sources connected to the Biebs tell us .. Justin hatched the idea after seeing the movie "Mr. Deeds" -- where Adam Sandler surprises Winona Ryder with a date at Madison Square Garden.

Here's how it went down tonight ... Justin took Selena to the Demi Lovato concert at neighboring Nokia Theater. He then said, "Come with me" -- and took her underground to Staples Center to watch the biggest shipwreck of all time.

And if you don't hate him enough already -- Justin didn't have to pay a penny for Staples. We're told since he sold out the venue three times, and it was empty tonight ... they gave him the entire arena for free.
