Billy McFarland tells TMZ ... he's been filming a new documentary as he attempts to launch PHNX, a December festival he's billing as his big comeback. Billy says he's rented an island and that cameras are following every move ... waiting to see if it's a redemption story ... or another disaster.

The project is expected to drop by late December or early January, and we're told the filmmakers are currently in discussions with multiple streaming platforms.

Michael J. Fox’s "Back to the Future" wasn’t just movie magic ... he says it straight-up inspired some huge names to pick up a guitar and go full rockstar.

The iconic actor hit "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" for National "Back to the Future" Day on Tuesday and dropped a bombshell ... saying his Marty McFly role in the '85 classic inspired none other than John Mayer and Chris Martin to become the full-fledged icons they are today!

American actress Meredith Salenger was just 15 years old when she played Natty Gann -- the adventure-seeking tomboy opposite John Cusack -- in the 1985 family/adventure movie "The Journey of Natty Gann."

In addition to hitting the big screen with Cusack, Salenger was joined on set by Ray Wise and Lainie Kazan.

Al Pacino's baby mama, Noor Alfallah, gave us a little peek into what it's like co-parenting with the Oscar winner ... and she proudly admits Al really puts the time in.

TMZ caught up with Noor on Tuesday outside the Beverly Hills Hotel, where the black-haired beauty was a fountain of information about her relationship with Al, telling us she's with the Hollywood legend every day. And that's despite their age gap ... Noor's 31 and Al's 85.

Noor put it to us this way, "Who doesn't want to be together with him? He's the coolest guy."

The "Top Gun: Maverick" hunk turned 37 Tuesday, and his buddy John Stamos marked the occasion by dropping a very cheeky tribute on Instagram featuring a carousel of photos that could easily double as a PG-13 calendar shoot.

"Happy Birthday @glenpowell, the man who's seen me naked more times than I'd like to admit. Love you buddy! Steam room date soon? xo JS," Stamos captioned the post.

The "Full House" star shared a series of throwback photos showing the duo's long-running friendship and lack of wardrobe. From sharing a snap in the sauna together to posing with nothing but a skateboard (and a prayer).

The guys first met back in 2015 on "Scream Queens," and have kept their friendship going ever since.

Danny Trejo was recently seen in a wheelchair making his way through a Canadian airport ... but fans shouldn't jump to conclusions!

Here's the deal ... Danny and his son Gilbert were spotted arriving at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday ... and Danny, being pushed along, gave some observers cause for concern.

A source close to Danny tells TMZ … the beloved actor -- known for his assorted badass characters -- had a knee replacement … and at airports, a wheelchair makes it easier for him to get around. That's it ... Danny is fine.

The lively British actress died peacefully Wednesday surrounded by family at her home in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles ... her family tells TMZ. We're told she struggled with a "long illness" before her passing.
