Vin Diesel Gets Big Win in Sexual Assault Lawsuit
Vin Diesel just landed a big win in a sexual assault lawsuit filed against him ... a judge threw out the case before it went to trial.
As we previously reported ... Asta Jonasson, a former assistant on the "Fast Five" set, sued Diesel for actions she alleges he committed against her in Georgia in 2010.
According to the judge's ruling, obtained by TMZ, the case has been tossed out because it wasn't filed in Georgia, where the alleged incident was said to have taken place. In essence, the judge said Jonasson couldn't apply California laws to acts that allegedly happened in Georgia.
'King of the Hill' Voice Actor Neighbor Charged With Murder ... Months After Heated Argument on Property
"King of the Hill" voice actor Jonathan Joss' neighbor, Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez, has been charged in Joss' murder, People reports.
The charge comes after Ceja Alvarez was arrested and released immediately after the tragic incident. He's been formally indicted by a Bexar County grand jury.
We broke the story ... eyewitnesses said Joss got into a heated argument with his neighbor at a house on the city's south side June 1 -- leading to a bloody confrontation.
Ariana Grande Wields Wicked Good Wand Whirling!!!
Ariana Grande had Jimmy Fallon flying off the handle with her wicked wand skills while promoting "Wicked: For Good" on 'The Tonight Show' Tuesday evening.
Check out the clip -- she told Jimmy she's a bit rusty ... and then effortlessly twirled her wand around, totally impressing the audience. It seems like playing Glinda certainly changed Ariana for good -- at least in the wand department!

As you know, Ariana and with her "Wicked" costars are currently promoting the sequel to 2024's film. They all reunited to create a new rap for 'The Tonight Show' on Monday, playing off their viral video from last year, which summarized the musical's storyline.
It hasn't been all fun and games, though ... last week, a crazed fan nearly tackled Ariana on the red carpet at the movie's Singapore premiere. He has since been charged with being a public nuisance and reportedly sentenced to 9 days in jail.
But, the press tour has pressed on ... "Wicked: For Good" premieres in theaters Nov. 21.

It looks like director Yi Zhou and actor Jeremy Renner are putting their differences aside after a contentious battle over their recent relationship and professional collaborations.
We told you all about it -- the pair shot cease and desist letters at each other after their professional relationship soured ... with Zhou accusing the Marvel star of coming onto her and then refusing to cooperate professionally, and Renner saying quite the opposite -- that the filmmaker threw herself at him repeatedly.
But, that's all in the past ... 'cause Zhou tells TMZ they have "reached a peaceful and mutually respectful resolution" and will be moving forward with their joint projects, "Chronicles of Disney" and the AI-animated "Stardust Future."
Elizabeth Franz Broadway Star Dead at 84
Tony-winning Broadway star Elizabeth Franz has died.
Her husband, Christopher Pelham, told the New York Times she died from cancer as well as having a "severe reaction" to the drugs used to treat it.
She took her last breath on November 4 at her home in Woodbury, Connecticut, according to the outlet.

2:25 PM PT -- A source with direct knowledge of the production tells TMZ … the film is based on a book, which Sony owns the rights to.
Tom Holland's set to star in an upcoming biopic about Fred Astaire ... but the late Hollywood legend's widow says the movie never got the green light from Fred's estate.
TMZ obtained a legal letter Fred's widow, Robyn Astaire, fired off to Amy Pascal -- one of the biopic's producers -- and Robyn makes it clear she hasn't authorized or granted permission for any portrayal of Fred in this biopic ... or any other film.
In the letter, Robyn says Fred "was explicit in his Will that he did not want his life story to be depicted on screen" ... and he says she "fully respects and upholds those wishes."
