Sherri Shepherd won't be sitting around and twiddling her thumbs now that she's taped the final live episode of her talk show "Sherri" ... she's weighing her career options -- including turning her show into a podcast.

We caught up with the star in New York City Thursday ... and we had to ask what she's got coming up after she's officially completed "Sherri," which has been cancelled after four seasons.

Shepherd says she's not sure if she would start producing a version of "Sherri" for YouTube or make a podcast ... since the market is saturated with millions of other listening options.

He just won an Oscar ... and then he was filing a missing-persons report on it.

Award-winning filmmaker Pasha Talankin -- who thought his golden statuette, which he won earlier this year for Best Documentary Feature -- vanished for good Wednesday after a TSA showdown at John F. Kennedy International Airport in NYC -- is finally breathing easier … because the missing award has been found.

Talankin was forced to check his Oscar after agents flagged the 8.5-pound trophy as a potential weapon before his flight to Germany -- despite him previously traveling with it without issue. When he landed in Frankfurt, the box carrying Hollywood's biggest prize was nowhere to be found … sparking outrage and a frantic search.

Now, the airline, Lufthansa, says the statue has turned up ... Talankin’s collaborator, David Borenstein, posted a statement on Instagram from the airline confirming the Oscar has been located, and the company is in contact with the owner to arrange a handover.

Colman Domingo is making moves off-screen ... 'cause TMZ has learned he's sold his Los Angeles-area home for a couple million.

Sources familiar with the sale tell TMZ ... the deal closed Wednesday for $2,135,000. Domingo, who plays Joe Jackson in film "Michael," bought the 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom home back in October 2018.

The home, known as The Hofkin Residence, is a 1964 Mid-Century Modern. The gated single-story estate was recently featured in Architectural Digest.

Shawna Stewart, Samuel's wife, tells TMZ ... Sam's kidneys are now failing ... and in addition to life support, he's been placed on dialysis. The family was given this prognosis just a day after the actor was also diagnosed with MRSA pneumonia -- a severe and fast-moving lung infection.

The actor has been hospitalized in L.A., on life support now for more than a week ... after he was initially admitted for meningitis, which the family says he had been fighting for more than a year -- after numerous misdiagnoses.

“Mission: Impossible” star Ving Rhames suffered a medical scare -- collapsing inside a Los Angeles restaurant ... TMZ has learned.

A diner at the scene tells TMZ ... Rhames was eating with his family on Wednesday when he collapsed at his table.

We’re told the 66-year-old appeared to be in and out of consciousness -- and paramedics rushed him to the hospital.

Donnell Rawlings is standing firmly in Michael Jackson’s corner ... telling us the filmmakers were right to reportedly spend millions reworking the upcoming biopic to remove references to abuse allegations.

Check out the clip ... we caught up with the comedian over the weekend and asked whether the reported $25M overhaul to reshoot the third act -- which featured sexual abuse allegations against the pop star -- was the right move ... and Donnell didn’t hesitate to give his POV.

He pointed to the fact Michael was acquitted in his 2005 criminal trial and said the allegations ultimately amounted to “speculation” ... adding the movie shouldn’t tarnish the King of Pop’s legacy by ending on accusations instead of his contributions to music and the world.

Donnell told us people should remember Michael for “healing the world” and being “the greatest performer that we’ve ever seen” ... making it crystal clear where he stands on the controversy.

Marvel Comics Legend Gerry Conway Dead at 73

Marvel Comics writer and former Editor-in-Chief Gerry Conway -- who co-created "The Punisher" -- has died at age 73.

Marvel posted the news on Monday ... but it is not clear when Conway died, or how.

Dan Buckley, President of Marvel Comics and Franchise, said in a statement ... "Gerry Conway was a gifted writer. He was thoughtful, deeply attuned to the emotional and moral core of storytelling, and a wonderful and articulate advocate for comics and creators. His writing has inspired all of us at Marvel, and will continue to inspire generations of writers, readers and fans to come."

Of all the contributions he made to the stories of iconic Marvel characters ... he is best known for co-creating the anti-hero character The Punisher. Currently, Jon Bernthal plays the fan-favorite character both on the Marvel TV series and in the upcoming movie "Spider-Man: Brand New Day."

The legendary writer is survived by his wife, Laura Conway.

Marvel extended its deepest sympathies to Conway's family, friends, and fans around the world.

He was 73.

RIP
