The Bayou Barbie has officially joined the cast of "The Hunting Wives" in the co-starring role of "Trainer Barbie," Netflix serendipitously announced on Tuesday.

Reese previously let it be known she was a fan of the breakout hit after watching Season 1, publicly calling the cliffhanger finale "unsatisfying" and demanding to know if there’d be a Season 2.

Talk about a blast from TV’s past ... "Star Search" is strutting back into the spotlight and has unveiled a celebrity-packed judging panel to officially usher in its shiny reboot.

Jelly Roll, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Chrissy Teigen are officially locked in as judges -- with the reboot premiering January 20 on Netflix, which will shake things up with real-time viewer voting that lets fans help decide which contestants move forward.

This isn’t your run-of-the-mill talent show either -- during its original run from '83 to '95, "Star Search" helped launch the careers of Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Adam Sandler and many more.

Netflix is leaning all the way in with the reboot, promising in the logline the talent is bigger than ever ... and the stakes have never been higher.

33 MILLION people tuned in to watch Jake Paul get knocked out by Anthony Joshua on Friday ... with Most Valuable Promotions sharing the official viewing numbers from the Netflix event.

According to Paul and Nakisa Bidarian's organization, the main event scored an estimated average minute audience of 33 million Live+1 viewers globally from start to finish.

To compare, Paul vs. Mike Tyson grabbed 108 million global viewers in November 2024.

The co-main event between Alycia Baumgardner vs. Leila Beaudoin also had a good amount of folks glued to the screens ... with an estimated 15 million global viewers.

"Stranger Things" is coming to an end, and creator Matt Duffer is feeling the heat ... saying he's absolutely feeling some extra pressure to deliver a finale fans can embrace.

We got the "Stranger Things" writer and director at LAX, and our photog asked him how he's feeling leading up to next week's big finale.

Matt, who created the series with his brother Ross, says endings are important on beloved shows like his Netflix hit ... and he feels good about the final product, which will be in theaters on New Year's Eve.

Actress Lilah Pate is firmly in her dad Jonas' corner following accusations he grabbed and shook a female production assistant on the set of "Outer Banks."

TMZ broke the story ... "Owning Manhattan" star Jade Shenker is dishing out the deets on co-stars Ryan Serhant and Jordan March's heated argument in NYC earlier this month ... and she reveals cameras were not up at the time of the altercation.

Jade hopped on the TMZ "Previously On..." podcast and tells us Netflix is currently "not filming at all" for the show, meaning the fight was as real as it gets. She adds this is not the first time they've had an argument, but it is the first time "9-figure lawsuits are being thrown around" -- though she didn't get into specifics.

Check the clip -- in the video obtained by TMZ, you can see Jade walk down the steps and into the guys' heated convo ... and she tells us all she was thinking in the moment was "please don't throw a punch or don't do anything stupid."

Netflix is going to buy Warner Bros. ... and they are dropping an insane amount of cash in a move that most believe will reshape the entertainment industry.

News broke Friday morning that Netflix agreed to purchase Warner Bros Discovery's TV, film studios and streaming division for $82.7 billion -- an equity value of $72 billion -- in a freaking cash and stock deal!

As you know ... WB had a for sale sign out for a few weeks ... and a bidding war was underway, which included Paramount Skydance, along with the winner, Netflix.

Matt Rife and Netflix are under fire for his new comedy special ... and parents are blaming the comedian and the streaming service for ruining the magic of Santa Claus.

Folks are complaining that when they open the app, Netflix starts auto-playing a preview of Matt's Christmas special, "Matt Rife: Unwrapped - A Christmas Crowd Work Special"... and it's a joke about Santa not being real.

Professional dancer and reality television star Criscilla Anderson died following a seven-year battle with colon cancer.

Her death was announced on her Instagram account Tuesday, with a message Criscilla wrote before she died, letting her fans know she'd "slipped into the arms of Jesus."

She wrote she'd fought hard throughout her treatment for colon cancer and thanked her friends and family for their support.

In a statement, Juda Engelmayer, a spokesperson for Diddy, tells TMZ ... "Netflix's so-called 'documentary' is a shameful hit piece" and "confirms that Netflix relied on stolen footage that was never authorized for release."

As you know, 50 promoted the docuseries Monday on "Good Morning America" before its Tuesday release on Netflix, and he previewed never-before-seen footage of Diddy recorded just prior to his September 2024 arrest.

50 also had a very different view on what Diddy's reaction would be to the series, saying the music mogul would think it was "amazing" and "the best documentary I've seen in a long time" with the exception of some bits and pieces. 50 added that Diddy would ultimately "see the truth in it."
