4:35 PM PT -- MAYIM'S FINGERS ARE SAFE ... but they're not entirely functional yet -- the actress just tweeted that she "will keep all my fingers," but admitted her husband had to type the message.

Mayim Bialik sustained serious injuries in a car accident in Los Angeles this afternoon ... and sources tell us the "Big Bang Theory" actress is in danger of losing her finger.

It all went down on the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and La Brea around noon ... sources tell us the former "Blossom" actress was traveling alone in a white Volvo which was struck in the intersection by another vehicle filled with tourists from Chile.

We're told emergency responders raced to the scene. One source tells us there was "tons and tons of blood everywhere."

Sources tell us Bialik sustained major damage to her left hand ... and "her finger was almost completely severed ... it was just hanging there."

We're told 36-year-old Mayim was rushed to a nearby hospital where she is being treated.

Another scary moment for Tone Loc ... the rapper appeared to have a seizure during a comedy show at the Laugh Factory last night ... this according to multiple sources.

TMZ has learned ... Loc was attending a charity event to benefit "My Friend's House" -- which provides food to homeless people -- when he began to flail around in his seat.

Witnesses tell us ... Loc fell to the floor and was "gasping to breath" ... as friends wiped the sweat from his head and cooled him off with cold water.

Someone called for an ambulance ... but we're told Loc recovered quickly ... so the ambulance was canceled.

Sources say Loc left the event immediately following the medical scare ... and we're told he's at home resting.

As TMZ previously reported, Loc told police he suffers from seizures after he was pulled over for DUI last year.

Still, Tone's manager insists Tone did NOT suffer a seizure last night ... telling us Tone merely got sick from bad food.

A grease-filled barbeque torpedoed a big party at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch this AM.

A large group was there for the shindig, when the staff lit the BBQ to get the coals hot. We're told a grease build-up on the system ignited the hood system and caused some panic.

Three engines from the Santa Barbara County Fire Dept. arrived but the blaze had already been put out.

The BBQ was cancelled.

Former "Baywatch" babe Donna D'Errico is recovering from some painful face injuries she suffered during an expedition to find Noah's Ark in Turkey.

D'Errico just released some photos ... in which the actress appears to be sporting multiple cuts and bruises around her mouth and cheek ... and a laceration on her leg.

It's unclear how Donna suffered the injuries.

The WNBA is not for pansies ... just ask the Mayor of Phoenix ... who BROKE HIS NOSE IN TWO PLACES during a practice session with the Phoenix Mercury!!!

It all went down just a few hours ago in AZ ... when Mayor Greg Stanton was running drills with several Mercury players.

He looked good at first ... quick, spry ... but things went to hell quickly when Stanton (6'1", 185 lbs) went up for a rebound against Nakia Sanford (6'3", 205 lbs ... all muscle) ... and took an elbow to the face ... breaking his nose in two places.

Stanton was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released.

The Mayor later issued a statement saying, "Injuries are just part of the game -- they're battle wounds."

We spoke with Mercury coach Corey Gaines who tells us, "It was hilarious ... you can't script it any better."

Gaines says the 5-on-5 match-up was at the Mayor's request ... because he felt confident after sinking several 10-foot jumpers during drills.

Coach says the Mayor insisted he could hang with ladies because he has prior "rec-league experience."

Coach says he warned the Mayor about the risks of stepping on the hardwood with the pros ... telling him, "They're not girls ... they're women."

Halle Berry found herself smack in the middle of a 911 emergency Sunday night in a Malibu restaurant -- when an old lady collapsed on the actress' table ... and couldn't get up.

Sources inside Taverna Tony restaurant tell TMZ, Halle was eating dinner with daughter Nahla and fiance Olivier Martinez -- when an old woman walked past their table and slipped, smacking her elbow on the way down.

According to sources, the woman couldn't move and someone called an ambulance.

John Legend was feeling under the weather following a stretch of extensive travel ... so he took himself to the emergency room this morning to get checked out , but TMZ has learned he just has a bad case of the flu.

A rep for Legend tells TMZ the singer recently returned from a trip to South Africa (among other places) and was feeling under the weather. So Legend went to a New York City area hospital where he was treated for flu-like symptoms.

Legend was prescribed a healthy dose of rest.

"Single Ladies" star Stacey Dash -- who starred in "Clueless" back in the day -- was hospitalized early Tuesday morning for "dehydration" ... this according to Stacey's rep.

Dash's rep tells us ... the 46-year-old actress was admitted to Encino Hospital in L.A. ... and she suspects it all stems from a meal she ate on Sunday night.

The rep tells us ... ever since that night, Dash "hadn't been able to hold down food or liquids ... not even water."

Despite the fact she's suffering from pink eye, USA beach volleyball superstar Kerri Walsh hugged, kissed and rubbed her contagious face all over her partner Misty May-Treanor last night.

Despite the infection, Kerri and Misty DOMINATED Austria last night ... and are one step closer to securing the gold medal ... again.

Apparently, someone farted on Kerri Walsh's pillow ... 'cause the U.S. beach volleyball superstar has come down with a case of the pinkeye at the Olympics.

Walsh talked about her eye issue at a media event in London yesterday -- wiping the tears and gunk as she told reporters the conjunctivitis won't stop her from dominating in the sand.

"It's super minor ... it looks worse than it is."

Kerri's pro-volleyball playing hubby Casey Jennings also has the pinkeye ... but, according to Kerri, it's much worse than hers.

"It looks like his eyeballs got their butts kicked."

**Sidenote -- the chances of getting pinkeye from someone farting on your pillow are very low ... it's just an urban legend perpetuated by the movie "Knocked Up."

TMZ has learned ... the Cincinnati Fire Department raced to the US Bank Arena moments ago after a fire broke out on the stage at WWE rehearsals for tonight's "Monday Night Raw."

A rep for the WWE tells us the fire began due to a "minor incident involving the show's pyrotechnics" ... and as a precaution, the "limited number of people in the building during the incident were successfully evacuated."

The Game chalked up two points ... and two broken bones ... during a basketball game in L.A. this weekend ... when a slam dunk went terribly wrong.

TMZ has learned ... Game broke a bone in his thumb and his wrist during a playoff game in the famous Drew League in Los Angeles.

According to our sources, Game fell after a slam dunk ... and while he was on the ground, somebody accidentally stomped on his right hand ... crushing the bones.

It's possible the bone-breaker was a celebrity -- Game's team features a bunch of NBA stars including DeMar DeRozan, Paul George, John Wall and Metta World Peace.

Sources close to The Game tell us the rapper is expecting to be sidelined for a month.

"I'm gonna hump you sweetly," is not what the crowd at a Tenacious D concert got to experience last night ... because a brutal fight broke out instead and at least one person was STABBED, this according to local reports.

It all went down at Mandalay Bay's House of Blues in Vegas. Jack Black and Kyle Gass were playing a set when all of the sudden a fight erupted in the crowd, according to 8 News Now Vegas.

According to the report, one person was stabbed in the leg and rushed to the hospital, but is expected to recover.

Following the incident, the police shut down the House of Blues, thus cancelling the rest of the concert.

John Noble -- star of the FOX show "Fringe" -- is suffering from a sleeping disorder which has affected the production of the show ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to the production tell TMZ ... 63 year old Noble has "not been sleeping well" and it's taken a toll on the production of the show.

Just days after being hospitalized, former actress Tara Reid was back on the party scene Monday, smoking cigs and hitting up nightclubs in St. Tropez.

TMZ broke the story ... Reid was hospitalized last week in Nice, France for what we were initially told was acute pancreatitis, a bad inflammation of the pancreas that can result in vomiting, nausea, diarrhea and fever.

On Sunday, the 36-year-old tweeted that she actually had food poisoning and hurt her back on a jet ski.

Tara Reid has been hospitalized in Nice, France for Acute Pancreatitis ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us ... Tara has been in the hospital for several days and will remain there awhile longer until she can recover. We're told her condition is not life threatening.

According to the US National Library of Medicine -- Acute Pancreatitis occurs when your body eats away at its pancreas ... causing horrible things like vomiting, nausea, diarrhea and fever.

In a photo taken Tuesday (above) Tara was seen walking around holding her stomach and looking worried.

But get this ... sources tell us told Tara was partying it up on some yachts in Saint Tropez and hitting up the town's nightlife in the days before she was hospitalized.
