The Spice Girls reunited for a very special occasion -- David Beckham's 40th birthday ... and someone was noticeably absent.

Victoria Beckham threw the party in Morocco Saturday and most everyone dutifully showed up, including Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell. The missing Spice -- Mel B.

Victoria posted the pic and tagged it "Spice Girls in Marrakech!" ... thing is, Eva Longoria joined for the photo.

They didn't perform, but they partied with David's family and all the other celebs.

Mel B looked like a Yukon miner on a digging expedition ... going in fist deep for SOMETHING.

Mel was all dolled up in Beverly Hills Monday for an outdoor photo shoot when she quite literally got her panties in a bunch. The question ... what is out of sorts?

A. Her thong
B. Errant poop
C. Her Shirt

The first option is plausible, but let's not jump to conclusions ... yet. The second is super questionable.

The third option is the most compelling -- she probably tucked her shirt into her skirt and did a simple pull-down.

GIRL POWER has just taken on a whole new meaning -- former Scary Spice Mel B stripped down to a bikini this weekend in Australia with a bunch of her lady friends ... and things got real frisky, real fast.

38-year-old Mel B and her gal pals sunned themselves on a yacht in Sydney Harbor Sunday. Mel's film producer husband Stephen Belafonte was there too, but her BFFs were the ones getting all the action.

"If you wanna be my lover ... you gotta get with my friends."

Katt Williams has a brand new enemy -- Spice Girl Mel B ... TMZ has learned.

Mel and her husband Stephen Belafonte were at Boa Steakhouse in L.A. with comic Faizon Love (Big Worm in "Friday") ... when Faizon told us he's still at war with Katt, who allegedly pulled a GUN on him last year.

Faizon tells TMZ ... he thought the beef had blown over ... until recently when Katt started talking more smack to him online.

Faizon proceeded to TRASH Katt on camera ... telling us, "He can't f*ck with me on the stage, on the screen or in these streets." You can tell Faizon is seriously pissed.

That's when Mel B jumped in -- saying, "I got your back" ... adding, "Who is Katt Williams anyway?"

Wanna pretend you're Posh Spice?

Well, now you can (you should probably stop eating first), 'cause Victoria Beckham is selling some of her old Spice Girls clothes ... and it's all to raise money for the Philippines.

Posh and David Beckham packed up 20 boxes of clothes -- from Spice Girls hoodies to fancy dresses, designer shoes, suits, boots, etc. -- and hauled it to the British Red Cross.

Some of the stuff is actually affordable -- Beckham suit jacket's are on sale for 75 pounds a piece ($121) ... and the money raised from the sale will go towards aiding the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

Scary Spice, in a horseriffic weave, has taken time off from pimping Eddie Murphy's Doolittle-too-late actions to attack reports of Stephen's bruisin' history. Don't talk to the animals!

Hopefully, this soap opera plot line won't affect 4-month-old Angel Iris Murphy Brown.

TMZ cameras caught Eddie Murphy's baby mama coming out of Hyde last night with producer boyfriend Stephen Belafonte, who used his body to shield Mel against snapping paps. After the two hopped into the back of their waiting SUV, Belafonte threw himself on top of Mel, making zany faces for the cameras as the Spice Girl gave him a little rubdown as thanks for blocking her.

Stevie seems to be a little more considerate than Eddie.
