Kanye West and Kim Kardashian went through emotional turmoil during their recent home renovation, with Kim complaining she was footing the gigantic bill herself.

Our sources say during the final taping of Khloe's talk show in April, Kim was grousing that they had sunk $8 million into their Hidden Hills remodel and it was all her money.

We're told the renovation costs swelled to $10 mil. Our sources say the main reason they sunk so much into the $20 million estate ... Kanye couldn't make his mind up. He would order a change and when it was completed he'd take a look and tell contractors to rip it out and do it another way.

We're told the remodel process has been frustrating and a source of tension for both of them, and to this day they have not spent a single night in the house that they bought 2 years ago.

Kanye West is in a bad mental state ... and sources familiar with the situation tell us his hospitalization is far from over.

Our sources say as of Wednesday morning it appeared he would stay at UCLA Medical Center until at least week's end. We're told some members of Kanye's family wanted him home for Thanksgiving and felt it would do him good, but as of yesterday that looked improbable.

TMZ broke the story ... Kanye's doctor told cops he was suffering from a temporary psychosis brought on by sleep deprivation and extreme dehydration, but we're told the problems go much deeper.

A well-connected Kanye source tells us Kanye's psychological problems are significant enough so that his insurance policy -- which covers lost profits and financial obligations for cancelled concerts due to illness -- will almost certainly cover the losses for the 21 concerts he's cancelled.

Kanye West was bound to end up in a hospital ... IF you buy into the long rumored Kardashian curse supposedly haunting all the men in that family, and Akon might be a believer.

It's her first public event since the Paris robbery. Right now... it doesn't look like Kanye will be with her.

Kim Kardashian was right by Blac Chyna's side for her first OB/GYN visit, and it's safe to say it brought the family a little closer.

This video of Kim, Chyna and Rob was shot at a Bev Hills parking structure back on April 26. At the time it seemed weird they'd be grabbing lunch together because Kim and Rob were beefing.

But now we know they'd banded together for a trip to the Kardashians' OB/GYN, Dr. Paul Crane. We broke the story ... Crane delivered little Dream, as well as Kourtney and Kim's kids.

News of Blac Chyna and Rob's pregnancy didn't leak until May 6, so the timing adds up. It means Blac Chyna was about 2 months pregnant at that point, so safe to say the baby brought the family back together.

Dream Kardashian's birth certificate checks out -- she was born on 11/10, Rob's the dad, Blac Chyna's the mom ... and the doctor who delivered the kid has seen multiple Kardashian vaginas!

TMZ has obtained a copy of Dream's birth certificate, which lists Dr. Paul Crane as the delivery doc. It's an encore performance ... he did the same for Kim, Kourtney and even Kris!

We're told Kim and Kris referred Chyna to the man the Kardashian women trust with their lady bits ... and Crane was booked for the birth.

Amber Rose thinks Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's baby girl, Dream, definitely takes after one of them more than the other.

We got Auntie Amber leaving Cedars-Sinai a few hours after Chyna gave birth and she dished on her first meeting with the Kardashian heir.

Kendall's alleged stalker, Shavaughn McKenzie, was sentenced Thursday after being found guilty of trespassing. The judge let him take jail time over probation. He'd been behind bars since he was arrested in August. He was granted time served, so no more jail time for this case.

McKenzie's mother was in court and promised to fly him home to Virginia to seek psychiatric treatment. Also, Kendall got a 5 year restraining order against him.

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick just got to the hospital to take their first peek at Blac Chyna and Rob's newborn baby girl.

The brand new aunt and uncle arrived together at Cedars-Sinai to meet Dream ... who was welcomed into the world at 9:18 AM.

Kourtney and Scott have 3 kids of their own, so they're probably high on the potential babysitter list. Well ... Kourtney, anyway.

Outside the hospital, the Kardashian's security force -- they're not cops -- has formed a perimeter.

11:38 AM PT -- Khloe's ecstatic to be an auntie again saying, "My new niece is absolutely stunning!!! So thankful I was able to land in time to witness this miracle happen! Praise God!"

9:40 AM PT -- The kid's here. Chyna and Rob reportedly named their baby girl, Dream. She was born at 9:18 AM and weighed in at 7 pounds 5 oz.

Blac Chyna is at the hospital, getting prepped for the arrival of the first Kardashian heir ... TMZ has learned.

Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble just rolled into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. We're told Chyna is in a posh suite upstairs, ready to deliver the baby girl by C-section. It was scheduled for 8:30 AM PT.

We're told grandma Jenner hired a bunch of bodyguards to protect the baby, Rob and Chyna ... but we're told they're mostly concerned about the baby getting photographed.

Our sources say there's a conflict a brewin' ... there are cameras ready to record the birth for a TV special, but some of what they want to shoot violates Cedars protocol and the family is going back and forth with the hospital.
