A Los Angeles-area home with deep ties to both the Kardashian family and the O.J. Simpson murder trial has hit the market ... TMZ has learned.

Real estate sources tell TMZ ... an Encino, Calif. residence, which currently belongs to comedian Russell Peters, is now on the market -- several years after he scooped up the storied property for a notable $5.6 million.

Russell is looking to offload the estate for $5.995 million ... which would give him a decent profit if it's snapped up at this price -- and we're sure the residence will have some takers given its unique history.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ a man showed up at Kendall's Los Angeles-area gated community last week. The man told guards at the gate that Kendall had invited him to come over ... and the guards immediately contacted the model's security team.

Her security called Kendall, who was out of town, and she told them she was not expecting anyone, and did not know the man at the gate.

Kim Kardashian is earning props from New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy for her advocacy, which he says played a key role in his decision to release prisoner Dawn Jackson ... after she served 25 years for fatally stabbing a man she claimed was sexually abusing her.

Governor Murphy, who commuted Jackson’s 30-year sentence by 5 years, thanked Kim for bringing attention to the case ... explaining in an X post Monday that after reviewing the "unimaginable trauma and sexual abuse" Dawn faced, he felt her original sentence was way too harsh.

Murphy not only shared an article about Kim’s role in helping Dawn, he also highlighted that Dawn took responsibility for her actions and served her time without further incidents. He made it clear -- it was time for her to get the second chance she truly deserved.

Kim Kardashian was a central force in getting New Jersey woman Dawn Jackson released from prison after serving 25 years for fatally stabbing a man she claims was sexually abusing her.

Our sources tell us Kim played a big role in New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy's decision to commute Jackson's sentence ... as she's been advocating for Dawn's release since 2018, when Jackson started sending Kim heartfelt letters about her case.

Jackson fatally stabbed her step-grandfather in 1999 and claims her public defender told her to plead guilty to her first-degree murder charge ... even though Jackson claimed she had been sexually abused since she was a child. Her sexual abuse testimony was never presented in court.

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were seen together at the after-party for Timothée's new Bob Dylan biopic in L.A. last week --- and TMZ has now obtained video of their lovely outing.

The couple attended the soiree at the Dolby Theatre on December 10 after the premiere of "A Complete Unknown," in which Chalamet plays Dylan, the legendary singer/songwriter. The film's official release date is December 18.
