Daniel Cormier Congrats to Jon Jones 'Phenomenal Job'
Daniel Cormier has a message for Jon Jones -- Congrats.
D.C. wasn't in the best shape to talk after his loss to Jones at UFC 214 and left the Octagon after only a brief statement with Joe Rogan.
But now, he's opening up ... and giving props to his biggest rival.
"Congratulations to Jon Jones and his team. They did a phenomenal job and got the victory."
Cormier also apologized to ref Big John McCarthy -- who called the fight in the 3rd round while Cormier was taking a flurry of uncontested shots to the head from Jones after a big head kick.
D.C. got into it with McCarthy after the stoppage in an emotional reaction to the loss.
"To Big John McCarthy, I would like to apologize for acting up with you. I am thankful for the time you gave me to try and defend myself and stay in the fight."
He concluded, "Again, congrats to Team Jones and Jackson Wink. Love you all. I'll see you soon."

Don't worry about Luke Rockhold dippin' his pen in the company ink ...
Despite nailing all sorts of hot women all over the world -- famous ones, wannabe famous ones, you name it -- the UFC star says he draws a hard line when it comes to banging female fighters.
"I appreciate what the girls do. It's sexy at times even," Rockhold says ... "It's just not my style."
So, what IS his style? Victoria's Secret models.
In fact, Rockhold hints that he's banging one on the down low right now ... and knowing this guy's history, we wouldn't put it past him.

Wiz Khalifa Called Out By UFC Fighter I'll Make You Crap Your Pants!!
Brown and yellow?
If Wiz Khalifa wants to get the actual crap beat out of him, UFC bad ass Felice Herrig says she's more than happy to do the honors ... if Wiz wants to test his MMA skills against a real fighter.
As we previously reported, Wiz has been doing some fight training in L.A. -- so, we asked Herrig to assess the rapper's skills.
She loves him as a rapper, but Herrig says he'd need to get a big ol' diaper if they ever stepped in the cage 'cause the fight would be a repeat of what she did to her opponent back in June.
BONUS -- Herrig also takes a shot at rapping the Eazy-E classic, "Gimme That Nutt" ... and let's just say she's a better fighter than a rapper.

Mini-Mayweather to Fight Mini-McGregor ... In Mini-Rumble
The Mini Team.
Floyd Mayweather's tiny doppelganger has signed his contract and will go toe-to-toe with "Irishman Mini McGregor" ... and it's all thanks to Larry Flynt.
The night before the real Floyd and Conor face off in Vegas, these two guys will step in the ring at the Hustler Club just down the way.
We're told it will be a 3 round fight for the very, very lightweight championship of the world.
You may remember Mini Mayweather from his epic bout with Mini Pacquiao ... a fight that had more action than the real MayPac throwdown.
Hopefully this fight will live up to the hype ... hate to see it fall short.

Ric Flair Kurt Angle Woulda Been a Dope UFC Fighter
7/27/17
With The Rock revealing that he considered a UFC career roughly 10 years ago, we wanted to know which WWE superstars have the chops to compete in a REAL mixed martial arts fight.
For the answer ... we went right to the Nature Boy Ric Flair -- who didn't even hesitate when he fired out one name, Kurt Angle.
He's probably right ... Angle famously won an Olympic gold medal for freestyle wrestling at the '96 Games after he took 1st place at the world wrestling championships in '95.
Accomplished wrestlers tend to do pretty damn well in the UFC ... Cormier, Lesnar, Jones and Velasquez to name a few.
Still, we were talking this out in the office and could all agree on one pro wrestler we woulda loved to see in the Octagon -- Andre the Giant.

Jon Jones' Brother Backstage Confrontation ... with Cormier's Camp
Craziness behind the scenes at the UFC 214 weigh-in Friday morning -- when Jon Jones' NFL brother, Arthur Jones, got into a heated exchange with several members of Daniel Cormier's camp.
We spoke with Arthur who says 6 members of Cormier's team were running their mouths at him during the weigh-in ... so he started jawing back.
Don't worry, it didn't get violent ... but you can tell everyone hates each other.
As we previously reported, Arthur and D.C. traded insults following UFC 210 a few months ago -- they don't like each other either.
Arthur says Jon's sick of talking -- he's ready to fight.

Luke Rockhold Cormier Will Beat Jon Jones ... In Crazy, Violent War
Luke Rockhold says his boy, Daniel Cormier, WILL DEFEAT Jon Jones at UFC 214 this weekend -- but it'll be a war.
"I just think they beat the living crap out of each other for 5 rounds," Rockhold tells TMZ Sports ... "and I think we can come out on top."
Yeah, he's a little biased -- the two are extremely close and have been for years.
"Me and D.C. have been together from the beginning," Rockhold says ... "Living in my manager's house. I'm living in the garage and he's living in the shanty house in front in Gilroy, CA."
"Rags to riches. It's been a long road."
We also spoke with D.C.'s boxing coach Rosendo Sanchez who tells us the beef with Jon Jones couldn't be more real.

Floyd Mayweather's Ex Blasts McGregor Dom. Violence Is Not a Joke
Floyd Mayweather's ex-GF is FURIOUS at Conor McGregor over a "trolling" stunt that mocked her domestic violence incident with Floyd ... saying he's shamelessly profiting from her pain.
The woman is Josie Harris -- who Floyd was convicted of attacking during a 2010 domestic violence incident at the boxer's Vegas home in front of their 3 kids. Mayweather spent 2 months behind bars for the attack.
McGregor "trolled" Floyd over the incident last week by wearing an NBA jersey of C.J. Watson -- the man Floyd accused Josie of secretly texting in 2010, which led to the violent altercation.
Josie wasn't laughing when she saw Conor's stunt -- and claims CM's doing nothing more than exploiting her trauma to promote his superfight with Floyd next month.
"[The stunt] demonstrates not only an insensitivity toward the emotional wellbeing and privacy of the victim of Mayweather’s dom. violence, but also a general disregard for the physical and emotional trauma and long-lasting psychological impacts suffered by victims of dom. abuse," Josie's attorney, Dan Friedlander, tells TMZ Sports.
"On behalf of Josie Harris, her and Mayweather’s three children, and all victims of domestic violence, we ask that Conor McGregor refrain from capitalizing off of the trauma suffered by her and other victims of domestic abuse."

Jon Jones I'd Love to Work with Mayweather 'Magnificent Promoter'
Jon Jones has some serious love for Floyd Mayweather -- and it seems it's just a matter of time before the UFC superstar joins The Money Team.
Remember, Floyd shouted Jones out last year -- saying TMT always had his back, even when others gave Jones the cold shoulder following his legal troubles. Mayweather told TMZ Sports he planned on talking with Jones about joining the squad.
So, when we saw Jon after the UFC 214 media event on Wednesday, we asked if there had been any movement.
"Floyd Mayweather's a guy I respect dearly," Jones said ... "He's a magnificent promoter and fighter."
"I would love to do something with Mayweather in the future."
We also talked to Jones about his brother, Arthur, saying he'd beat Daniel Cormier's ass -- Jon explains what he'd need to do to make that happen.

Jon Jones' Brother 'We Jumped a Lot Of People Growing Up'
Here's a scary thought ... Jon Jones, Arthur Jones and Chandler Jones teaming up to BEAT YOUR ASS at the same time.
Well, it wasn't just a thought for some kids -- Arthur tells TMZ Sports the kids used to fight together growing up. It's the way they were raised.
"My mom always taught us ... one fight, we all fight," Arthur says ... "So, we jumped a lot of people growing up, me and my brothers."
Of course, all 3 Jones Bros are world class athletes -- Arthur and Chandler put together impressive NFL careers while Jon tore up the UFC.
They're all still incredibly tight and Arthur says he couldn't be more proud of what Jon's achieved in the Octagon.
We also asked Arthur if he thinks he could take Daniel Cormier -- and it's clear he ain't afraid.

Urijah says Snoop drinks gin and juice on set, smokes blunts and gets to watch great fights -- it's a dream gig.
FYI, Snoop's basically a UFC junkie -- and tells us why Jones vs. Cormier at UFC 214 could be one of the best fights of all time.

Jon Jones: 'You look Like a Crackhead' Daniel Cormier: 'You Were One!'
The cocaine insults were flying at the UFC 214 media event today -- with Jon Jones saying Daniel Cormier looks like a crackhead.
Cormier shot back -- "I can look like a crackhead, but I've never been a crackhead like you, though."
That was just the beginning ... Cormier accused Jones of being on steroids for most of his UFC career. Jones denied the allegations and flexed his 6-pack.
These guys hate each other -- and will finally get to get violent on Saturday.

Daniel Cormier Jon Jones Is UFC's G.O.A.T. ... Until I Beat Him
Jon Jones wasn't crazy when he called himself the greatest UFC fighter of all time ... at least according to Daniel Cormier, who says ya just can't argue with Jon's resume.
"His level of competition is unmatched," Cormier tells TMZ Sports ... "He's beaten about 6, 7 guys that are going to the UFC Hall of Fame."
Jones bragged about his legacy on FS1's "Undisputed" on Monday -- saying there's no doubt he's the greatest fighter to ever step into the Octagon. He's beaten legends like Rampage Jackson, Shogun Rua, Lyoto Machida and more.
Given the hatred between Jon and DC, you'd think Cormier would blast him over the comments -- but that's not what happened. It was the closest thing to a compliment we've seen leading up to UFC 214.
Speaking of which, Cormier also says his weight is PERFECT leading up to Saturday's title fight -- despite the fat jokes from Jones. "This is the lightest I've been."
That's when he took aim at Jon's tiny chicken legs and ripped a few shots at the guy.
5 days, people.

Wiz Khalifa I Pack Punches Like I Pack Bowls Intense MMA Training!!
Wiz Khalifa's next big show could be in the Octagon because the superstar rapper -- who's known as a smoker, not a fighter -- has been busting his ass doing MMA training.
TMZ Sports got this video of Wiz hitting the mitts with FOX's Jay Glazer, and working on his kicks with UFC star Cat Zingano. Pretty clear from the video ... he's taking it seriously, and we hear he's been at it like this for about 3 months at Unbreakable Gym on Sunset.
What's most impressive about this workout sesh is Wiz was on vacay! He was in Napa for a wine tasting trip -- with his gf, Izabela Guedes, Michael Strahan and Glazer -- but brought his gear to do some training ... in between sipping cabs and zins.
Wine tasting and MMA? Just when ya think ya know a guy.
