The Trump administration has changed the White House website's official timeline of the building ... using it as an opportunity to dunk on the last three Democrats to live there.

Here's the deal ... there's a timeline on the White House's official website which lays out the different renovations -- from the building's initial construction at the end of the 18th century to President Donald Trump's newest project, a $250 million grand ballroom many Democrats are decrying.

However, several of the new additions aren't about the architecture at all, but instead what past presidents decided to do there ... beginning with a debrief on President Bill Clinton's cheating scandal with Monica Lewinsky, which resulted in his impeachment.

A driver was arrested after crashing his car into a security gate outside the president's residence at the White House Tuesday night.

An unidentified driver crashed a car directly into the security gate on the west side of the White House grounds just after 10:30 PM … about 400 yards away from the residence itself.

Uniformed Secret Service and D.C. Metro Police officers searched the car at the scene and determined the vehicle -- a 2010 Acura TSX with Maryland plates, according to The New York Times -- was safe. The White House was not locked down during the incident.

The motorist was immediately arrested, The Washington Post reports.

It's official, folks ... demolition has begun on the White House's East Wing as part of President Donald Trump's plan for constructing a new ballroom.

Construction workers tore down the facade of the East Wing on Monday, and the demolition was overseen by several members of the Secret Service as it took place, according to The Washington Post ... the massive hole and the interior of the White House was visible to the public.

Trump was nearby attending an event held in another part of the White House, to honor the Louisiana State University and LSU Shreveport baseball teams, and he did let the attendees know they might hear the sounds of demolition.

The President posted about the project on Truth Social, describing the construction of the ballroom as "much-needed."

FYI ... the East Wing is typically reserved for the First Lady's activities -- in this case, Melania Trump -- and her team. Staffers stationed in the East Wing were relocated prior to the start of demolition.

Trump stated his new ballroom would be able to hold up to 900 people, even though the initial plans only accounted for a maximum capacity of 650, according to NBC News. The construction began even without approval from the National Capital Planning Commission, which approves construction and renovations to D.C. government buildings, NPR reports.

Donald Trump's looking out for the White House Press Corps ... warning one photog to watch his camera -- 'cause it got pretty close to shattering a very old mirror.

The President of the United States was chatting with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at the White House Monday ... when he spoke to one of the camera operators -- telling them to be careful around a mirror in the back.

DJT says, "You better watch that. You're not allowed to break that" -- a good-natured barb that got a chuckle out of the room ... and Trump then followed it up by revealing the mirror's not a cheapie from Target. It's actually 400 years old!

Oregon's biggest city showed a lot of balls Sunday, taking to the streets in next-to-nothing ... to express their distaste for ongoing federal immigration raids by ICE, and President Donald Trump's threats to send National Guard troops to the city.

Here's the skinny ... The protest was an "emergency" edition of the World Naked Bike Ride -- an event usually taking place in summer -- and involved protesters on bikes, making their way to the city's U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building yesterday.

President Trump can't seem to shake the curse of Jeffrey Epstein ... because U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi got into a fiery exchange over the "Epstein Files" with a senator during a congressional hearing.

Bondi faced off Tuesday with the Senate Judiciary Committee and, when it came time for Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) to ask questions of the AG, things got really heated really fast!
