Mark Zuckerberg Meta Found Liable in Civil Lawsuits Failed to Protect Kids From Predators, Promoted Kids' Online Addiction

It’s a bad day to be Mark Zuckerberg ... Meta was just hit with a couple of huge verdicts and ordered to pay big after being found liable in two different lawsuits this week.

Tuesday, a New Mexico jury found Meta liable for failing to protect kids from sexual predators … and the company was ordered to pony up $375M in damages. Then on Wednesday, an L.A. jury found both Meta and YouTube liable in a separate social media addiction trial, finding the companies designed their platforms to be addictive to young users.

New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez sued Meta back in 2023, claiming Facebook and Instagram created a “breeding ground” for predators. A Meta spokesperson said the company will be appealing the decision because they “respectfully” disagree with the ruling, CNN reports.

FKA Twigs is taking her ex Shia LaBeouf back to court ... she just filed a new lawsuit against him ... and it looks like it's all about their settlement from a previous sexual battery suit.

In new legal docs obtained by TMZ, FKA Twigs claims Shia tried to silence her with the NDA provisions in the settlement of a lawsuit she filed back in 2020.

FKA claims the NDA terms of that settlement are unlawful under California's Stand Together Against Non-Disclosure Act, which she says invalidates portions of confidentiality provisions in such settlements.

Shannen Doherty’s estate has worked out a deal with her ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko in their fight over money ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Shannen’s team and Kurt agreed to resolve their differences after months of back and forth.

The "Charmed" actress died on July 13, 2024 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Shannen and Kurt worked out a divorce settlement days before she passed.

According to the agreement, Kurt will get the Texas property on the condition he pays a lump sum payment to Shannen’s estate equal to one-half of the equity value of a Texas home.

'Bad Boys' Star Theresa Randle Arrested For Felony Domestic Violence

Theresa Randle -- the retired actress best known for her roles in "Bad Boys" and "Malcolm X" -- has been arrested again ... TMZ has learned.

According to online records, Randle was booked on March 1 on a felony charge of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant. It appears she was released two days later ... with cops citing insufficient evidence as the reason they let her go.

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kandi Burruss will not be paying her ex-husband Todd Tucker a dime in child or spousal support -- but she will be coughing up a hefty 6-figure lump sum as part of their divorce settlement ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ obtained the settlement agreement signed by Kandi and Todd. The exes wed in April 2014 and split last year.

Per the deal, neither party will be paid child support or spousal support. Kandi and Todd agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their kids, Ace, born in 2016, and Blaze, born in 2019.

Kandi will keep the children's passports, but Todd can request them from her ahead of any international travel. As for their boujee assets ...

According to new legal docs, a bench warrant was issued after Chrisean allegedly blew off a court hearing in February.

It looks like this all stems from a traffic ticket.

The docs say on January 26, the Los Angeles prosecutors filed two misdemeanor charges against Chrisean for driving on a suspended license in Hermosa Beach, CA back in December 2025.

Cyndi Lauper's son, rapper Declyn "Dex" Lauper, sexually assaulted a woman in a New York City apartment after she refused to perform oral sex on him ... at least according to a new lawsuit.

The suit, obtained by TMZ, alleges Dex invited the woman over in November 2020 and sent her money for private car transportation ... but when she arrived, she claims he "seemed agitated," and they disagreed about her performing fellatio.

She says when she insisted on leaving, Dex took her phone and threatened to break the device if she did not perform oral sex on him. She claims he pushed her onto his bed with his genitals exposed, held her arms down, and forcibly smothered his genitals over her mouth.

The woman charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting at Rihanna's home is in danger of losing her license to practice speech-language pathology.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, prosecutors in California say Ivanna Lisette Ortiz is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state ... and a member of the board that oversees licensing in her field wants her barred from practicing if she's released from law enforcement custody.

The board member says Ortiz got her license way back in April 2016 and it's not set to expire until June 2027.

'Reacher' Star Alan Ritchson Cops Say Beating Was Self-Defense, No Charges

The cops have called it a wrap on the investigation of "Reacher" star Alan Ritchson and his neighbor, Ronnie Taylor -- they're not charging anyone in the bloody brawl, TMZ has learned.

The Brentwood Police Department tells TMZ, "After reviewing available evidence, including video footage and witness statements, authorities determined that no criminal charges will be pursued. Mr. Ritchson’s actions were found to be in self-defense. Although a potential reckless endangerment charge was considered, Mr. Ritchson declined to pursue charges.

"With the agreement of the District Attorney’s Office, the case is now closed, and no further action will be taken."

Former Menudo member Draco Rosa is being dragged into another court battle with his ex-wife, Angela Alvarado ... she says he's been siphoning money from a retirement account that belonged to the both of them and now owes her more than $200,000.

In court documents, obtained by TMZ, Angela claims a shared account worth $508,439 when they divorced has now dwindled to $34,510 due to several withdrawals Draco allegedly made between 2019 and 2024.

As a result, Angela is requesting the judge award her 100% of the remaining money in the account ... and order Draco to pay the balance of $219,710 she says she's still owed. She also wants the judge to hit Draco with sanctions in the amount of $8,719 for making her spend money on lawyers to go to court over the situation.

Puddle of Mudd's Wes Scantlin No Jail Time in Drugs & Domestic Violence Case

Wes Scantlin -- the lead singer of rock band Puddle of Mudd -- just got some great news in court ... he won't be spending time in the slammer in his domestic battery and drug possession case.

Court docs obtained by TMZ show that in lieu of jail time, Wes was put into a one-year diversion program and has to enroll in and complete a drug rehab program.

Remember ... police arrested Wes last year after cops say he got physical with his girlfriend. According to the cops, they also found drugs on his person during a search.

But now, the judge accepted the plea agreement to put him in the diversion program for the drug possession charge, and dismissed the remaining counts.

The musician is due back in court for a progress report on May 29.
