Scott Baio Sexual Assault Case D.A. Believes Nicole Eggert ... But, Baio Won't Be Prosecuted

5/23/2018 3:25 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Scott Baio will not be prosecuted for allegedly sexually assaulting Nicole Eggert during the run of "Charles in Charge," but we've learned the D.A. found her credible.

Sources familiar with the case tell us on Wednesday Nicole met the L.A. County Deputy D.A., who is reviewing the case. Our sources say the D.A. found Nicole's allegations "credible." As we reported, Eggert claimed Baio repeatedly molested her between ages 14 and 18. Baio insists they had sex only once ... when she was 18.

Our sources say the D.A. called the case "potentially prosecutable" ... were it not for the statute of limitations.

Under current law there's no statute of limitations if an adult sexually assaults a minor. But, when the alleged assaults occurred in the '80s, the statute of limitations was 3 years, which means it has long since run out.

There's an argument that old cases could still be prosecuted if the statute hadn't run when the law changed, but in this case the statute ran before the law changed, so case closed.

Eggert tells TMZ, "I always knew this case was beyond statutes of limitations and unfortunately the DA would not be able to prosecute Scott Baio. However I also knew the importance of laying the groundwork for any future victims of Baio's that may come forward and to warn parents who might unknowingly allow their children to be alone with this molester."

She goes on ... "I could no longer keep up the lie he conditioned me into and felt it a Mother's responsibility to put the truth out there."

Baio had no comment.

NBA's Sterling Brown Arrest Video Released Shows NBA Player Getting Tased

5/23/2018 3:22 PM PDT
Breaking News

New police video shows Milwaukee Bucks player Sterling Brown being tased by aggressive cops during a ridiculous confrontation stemming from a parking violation.

It all went down around 2 AM on January 26 in Milwaukee when cops responded to a report of a car parked across 2 handicap spaces in an empty Walgreen's parking lot.

The cop on scene aggressively confronts Brown and begins to question him about the parking job.

Brown remains calm throughout the ordeal -- but the police officer continues to escalate the situation ... seemingly unnecessarily ... until several more cops arrive.

At one point, the cops order Brown to take his hands out of his pockets but Brown responds, "I got stuff in my hands."

At that point, cops swarm Brown from all sides and wrestle him to the ground.

A few seconds later, you hear an officer yell for the taser and Brown gets shocked.

You can hear Brown moaning in pain.

'Buckwild' Star Busted on VA Drug Charges in FL

5/23/2018 3:16 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Some familiar, and still bad news for ex-"Buckwild" star Salwa Amin -- she got locked up Wednesday on a warrant for drug charges ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us Amin was arrested in Orange County, FL on a warrant out of Virginia. According to her booking information ... she's facing multiple charges, including conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and possession of cannabis with intent to distribute.

She's been down this road before -- most notably in 2013 when she was arrested on similar drug charges, re-arrested in that same case and eventually sentenced to rehab and jail.

Michael Jackson Estate Disney has Unmitigated Gall Airing 'Last Days' TV Special

5/23/2018 2:35 PM PDT
Exclusive Details

The folks managing Michael Jackson's estate are outraged that ABC would dare do a documentary called "The Last Days of Michael Jackson" and trash the singer without even paying the estate a cent for exploiting Jackson's good name.

A rep for the estate tells TMZ ... it's especially galling that Disney -- which owns ABC, and sometimes viciously protects its image -- would sully the image of Michael. The rep called Disney's conduct "disgraceful."

The rep went on to say this -- "What if we did a documentary on the relationship between Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck and some of the rumors they were drug abusers? How would Disney like that?"

We're told Disney has not paid a cent for photos or music for the upcoming TV special, and the MJ estate will be watching like a hawk to see if any of those assets appear in the show.

Bella Thorne Leather Does Her Body Good

5/23/2018 3:21 PM PDT

Keep ya pants on ... not that Bella Thorne's following those orders, but we doubt anyone's complaining about her fashion choices.

Bella was out in NYC on Wednesday draped in a super tight black leather outfit. BTW, it's a relatively sweltering 80 degrees in the Big Apple ... which might explain why her pants are undone. The only thing missing to complete this outfit? Ehh ... nothing, really.

The sexy biker babe look has us wondering -- who wore it better? Hailey Baldwin in Bev Hills or Brooke Burke at Coachella?

TBH, we're they're all winners here.

'Bachelor' Stars Arie & Lauren B. Couples That Talk Alike Stay Together

5/23/2018 2:44 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

'Bachelor' stars Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham have been together long enough they're now answering questions almost exactly the same ... call it creepy cute.

We got Arie and Lauren on Wednesday leaving "The View" in NYC where they posed for pics with fans. Our guy asked the million dollar question -- will they watch Becca Kufrin's upcoming 'Bachelorette' season?

You'll recall Arie became public enemy No. 1 after blindsiding Becca and dumping her for Lauren ... in the cringeworthy 'Bachelor' finale. Watch ... Arie and Lauren were either coached on how to answer, or they're just starting to talk alike.

Btw ... Arie and Lauren are tying the knot Jan. 12 in Hawaii, a full year after meeting on 'Bachelor.' They made the announcement 5 days before Becca's premiere.

Stealing thunder, table for 2?

Paige VanZant Yep, I Got a Boob Job ... So What?!

5/23/2018 1:45 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Paige VanZant tells TMZ Sports ... the boob job rumors are true -- and it's really no big deal.

The UFC star's chest has been the topic of some Internet debate recently ... even Michael Bisping weighed in on the issue on a podcast.

Now, Paige wants to set the record straight once and for all ... telling us, "Yep, I did get a boob job."

She continued, "I'm a girl and always wanted my own boobs. They never came so I bought them."

So, how will the new additions affect her day job? They really shouldn't ...

However, there was a fighter, Pearl Gonzalez, who was temporarily stopped from competing in New York in 2017 because of breast implants ... but the NY State Athletic Commission later cleared her to fight.

Georgia Surgeon Accused of Dancing During Operations

5/23/2018 3:11 PM PDT

A plastic surgeon in Georgia is now being put under a microscope after allegedly putting patients under the knife with music blaring ... and her body groovin'.

Dr. Windell Davis Boutte has reportedly been sued multiple times over the last few months  -- and in some cases, reportedly settled -- for alleged malpractice after being accused of dancing during her surgeries ... and posting the clips online.

A lot of the videos were reportedly used as evidence in the malpractice suits -- and it sure looks like Dr. Boutte was getting her boogie on while cutting patients open. One malpractice case allegedly left one woman, Icilma Cornelius, with permanent brain damage.

According to reports of the lawsuit the woman's son filed against Boutte, the doc allegedly had to call an ambulance after Cornelius suffered heart failure during a tummy tuck surgery since she didn't have the proper equipment to deal with the emergency at her practice.

Before paramedics could rush her away, Boutte is accused of needing to stitch Cornelius' skin back together to avoid the infecting the wounds, delaying transport. Not only that, but the son claims her office's elevator couldn't fit the stretcher, and his mom had to be carried down.

Once at the hospital, her son says she was diagnosed with permanent brain damage, leaving her requiring lifelong care. The case was reportedly settled ... unclear if dancing was alleged.

Michael Rotondo Evicted 30-Yr-Old Says My Parents Are Not Good People

5/23/2018 1:21 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Michael Rotondo, the 30-year-old man whose mom and dad sued to get him booted from their home, claims he'll gladly leave ... eventually ... but he definitely won't forgive his folks.

Rotondo was on "TMZ Live" talking about the court case he lost. The judge sided with his parents and told the grown-ass man -- who doesn't pay rent -- he needed to heed his parents' eviction notice. He says he plans to appeal and, for now, he's still living with them.

He told us nothing's changed in the house, as far as his relationship with his parents -- icy cold as ever. But he really unloaded on them when we asked if he thinks his parents are good people.

As for getting the hell outta Dodge, getting a j-o-b, and getting his own place? Rotondo says he's got a game plan ... although we doubt his parents will like his timeline.

BTW, his Skype signal crapped out right in the middle of our interview, so we finished up by phone. Insert your own "cost of wifi" joke here.

Cynthia Nixon Crushed by Cuomo ... Loses Dem. Nomination

5/23/2018 1:43 PM PDT
Breaking News

Cynthia Nixon suffered a landslide defeat in her bid to become Governor of New York, but she's vowing it ain't over yet.

NY state's Democratic convention kicked off Wednesday, and sitting Gov. Andrew Cuomo got more than 95% of the delegate votes to secure the party's nomination for a third term. The former "Sex and the City" star came up woefully short of securing the 25% she needed just to guarantee her a spot on September's primary ballot.

Cynthia -- who announced her candidacy back in March -- won less than 5% of the delegates. It'll be an uphill battle, but she says plan B is to get thousands of signatures on a petition to get on the ballot.

Britney Spears Forget More Support!!! It Was K-Fed's Idea to Have More Kids

5/23/2018 10:45 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Kevin Federline made his own bed when he decided to have more children after divorcing Britney Spears, and it's not her problem that he's now strapped for cash and seeking more child support ... sources close to Britney tell TMZ.

K-Fed has asked a judge to up his $20,000 a month child support payment he gets from Britney, claiming their 2 kids enjoy a lavish lifestyle with her and all he can provide them with is a lifestyle that is relatively meager. He claims the kids go on 5-star vacations, they have every toy imaginable, a lighted tennis court, all because he claims she makes $34 million a year, while he only pulls in $3k a month.

One Britney source with direct knowledge of the situation tells TMZ, "Britney spends no more on the boys than he does. He's barely getting by because he has to support 3 additional kids and his wife and himself on funds Brit gives him for their 2 kids."

The source goes on, "The law is that both parents are to contribute to their children's support. Where is his contribution?"

Federline says his expenses are around $23,000 a month. So, when you add up his earnings and Britney's $20k a month, he currently breaks even.

Offset No Charges In ATL Car Crash Case

5/23/2018 1:07 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Offset isn't going to have to answer for what led up to a nasty car crash he was in last week, or why he left the scene -- 'cause cops aren't pursuing it ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us the investigation into a wreck Offset was involved in -- which sent him to the hospital -- is officially closed, and no charges will be filed.

We're told the matter will be treated as an abandoned/recovered vehicle case, with only a tree being hit and nobody else other than Offset being hurt or injured. Of course, Offset posted multiple gruesome photos of the aftermath ... they were gnarly, to say the least.

As we reported ... police initially wanted to know why Offset had left the scene. There were no victims, witnesses or damage to other vehicles, but cops still wanted to talk to him to see if anyone else was there. He was never ID'd as the driver, BTW.

The whole thing's moot now, though ... case closed.
