Rande Gerber was spotted returning to his late son Presley Gerber's Los Angeles home ... amid news that Presley had been cremated.

In the pics obtained by TMZ ... Rande -- who wore shorts, a T-shirt and a hat -- kept his head down as he walked toward the front door of his late son's house Friday.

We reported earlier ... Presley's death certificate obtained by TMZ revealed that he was cremated at the Rose Family Funeral Home just days after his passing.

Chadwick Boseman's widow, Taylor Simone Ledward Boseman, claims the late actor's family is making things difficult as she tries to work on a documentary celebrating his life.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Simone says she has been working with production company Words + Pictures on a documentary about Chadwick.

She said she is in the process of securing an offer from Searchlight Pictures to produce the film. Simone said the deal is structured on a "Most Favored Nation basis," meaning it would ensure equal treatment for the family parties, and said, "both sides of the family were sent identical paperwork."

Attorneys representing Nolan Wells' friends are speaking out against bomb threats they say have been made against their clients ... in the wake of claims that Snapchat messages were deleted from Nolan's phone.

In a Friday press release ... attorneys Edward Andrew Paltzik and Tyler Cox said Nolan's pals Jax Pitalo, Warren Hudson and Morgan Seymour "refuse to be intimidated by today's litany of bomb and death threats."

The legal team added that these threats came from people "outside the community."

Good news for Carrot Top ... the comedian has been released from the hospital and is feeling better, TMZ has confirmed.

A source with direct knowledge tells us ... Carrot is now at "home with his family and doing well." PEOPLE was first to report the news.

As TMZ first reported ... Carrot attempted suicide and was in critical condition after authorities received a call for a "suspected overdose" at his Las Vegas home on September 18.
