LaVar Ball is being dragged off one court and into another ... because a contractor who built him an at-home basketball court is now saying he was stiffed on the $200K bill.

The father of basketball stars Lonzo and LaMelo Ball is getting sued by MD Steel Inc. for unpaid labor expenses for the installation of a basketball court and subsequent home renovations.

TMZ obtained docs that detail the various work expenses MD says amounted to roughly $970K ... and in the filing, the company claims LaVar paid roughly $750K but never paid off the balance! He's now asking the court to help him collect the remaining $221,928!

ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller's colleagues are helping out after he lost his arm in a serious car accident earlier this month ... with names like Pat McAfee and Adam Schefter donating to his recovery.

Miller's loved ones are raising money to ease the financial burden the draft expert will face after multiple surgeries and impending rehab, medical care, travel, and prosthetic planning ... and the former Indianapolis Colts punter wasted no time contributing $5,525 to the cause.

The goal is now $55,000 total ... and Schefty, Pete Thamel, Jeremy Fowler, Mina Kimes, and more have also put up money for Miller's cause.

A security guard is under arrest and booked with two felonies after allegedly firing a taser dart into the face of a patron at a Southern California bar, according to police. 

The insane incident, which occurred Wednesday night at Park 101 in Carlsbad, CA, was caught on video by a witness, who then posted the shocking clip to social media, and it instantly went viral.

Check it out ... the patron is talking with a couple of security guards at the bar when things suddenly take an ugly turn. One guard pulls out a taser and, at point-blank range, fires a dart into the young man's face. The victim falls to the ground in obvious pain as a good Samaritan comes over to assist him.

The United Center noted that Lionel and Earth, Wind & Fire are scheduled to pick things back up on Tuesday in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and that Lionel is "heartbroken to postpone these two shows and cannot wait to be back performing for his fans."

A disturbed passenger on a United Airlines flight caused one helluva scene, prompting the captain to divert the plane and land in Tokyo for safety reasons, according to an eyewitness.

The bizarre incident occurred on a UA commercial jet heading to San Francisco from Shanghai, China, on Wednesday afternoon, the witness wrote in a post on Reddit. 

According to the witness's account ... after takeoff, a passenger was getting unruly ... before beefing with crew members on the plane.
