Too Short's got an easy explanation for why he held off on becoming a father until now ... he was too busy pouring his time and energy into hooking up with ladies ... lots of 'em.

The legendary rapper was on "TMZ Live" Tuesday and wasn't the least bit shy about why he waited until the ripe age of 53 to become a father. Too Short point-blank says he was enjoying his celebrityhood and all the trappings that came with it.

Translation: He was too busy being daddy to be someone's dad.

Justin Timberlake was ambushed by a notorious prankster Tuesday in France ... and the man's sneak attack outside the Louvre was caught on video.

Justin was walking into Louis Vuitton's Paris Fashion Week show with his wife, Jessica Biel, when Vitalii Sediuk forced his way through the crowd, grabbed Justin's leg from behind and tried to pull the singer down.

JT's security quickly swarmed and broke the man's grasp, but only after Justin got dragged back a few steps.

Justin held Jessica's hand the entire time, and she looked pretty surprised by the ambush. The couple seemed to shrug it off as they continued walking into the event -- and it doesn't look like JT was physically harmed.

NBA officials are working with the Mobile Police Dept. to coordinate a surrender date for DeMarcus Cousins in his domestic violence case, cops tell TMZ Sports.

As we previously reported, Cousins is facing a 3rd-degree domestic violence charge in Alabama stemming from a threatening phone call he allegedly made on August 23 to the mother of his child.

Cousins allegedly told his ex-girlfriend he'd put a "bullet in [her] f**king head" if she didn't let their child come to his wedding, which took place in Atlanta the very next day.

An arrest warrant was issued for Cousins days later -- but he had just undergone surgery to repair his torn ACL, which made it difficult for Boogie to travel to turn himself in.

But, Cousins appeared in good spirits at Lakers Media Day last week -- so we called the Mobile PD to see if there's been any movement in that case.

Jennifer Lopez might be considered a star because of her TV career, but she's not a big enough name in music to land the Super Bowl Halftime Show in Miami ... at least according to Uncle Luke.

The former 2 Live Crew frontman is standing by his criticism of Jay-Z and the NFL for choosing J Lo and Shakira as headliners for SB54 ... because he feels Pitbull and Flo Rida are at a higher level.

Uncle Luke tells us there's a very short list of performers -- and most of them are no longer alive -- who warrant top-billing for a Super Bowl no matter where it's being played ... and Lopez isn't on it.

So, he's doubling down on his stance that the upcoming Miami SB should feature famous artists who are actually from the city ... and the current duo doesn't qualify.

Gene Simmons is on a break from rockin' and rollin' all night to deal with some pesky kidney stones -- and he underwent a procedure this week to nip it in the bud.

Sources close to the KISS singer tell TMZ ... Gene was admitted into Cedars-Sinai Hospital early Tuesday morning to undergo a medical procedure that should help get rid of the stones. It's non-invasive, we're told, and only took about an hour to complete.

Our sources say a stent was inserted in his urethra, which helps urine flow from the kidney to the bladder ... ultimately forcing the stones to pass through. Sounds like he'll be peeing 'em out soon.

We're told the stent will be removed in about a week -- and any remaining stones will be removed too. Gene should be good to go at that point.

The leaks coming from the White House are now crossing into the animal kingdom ... because a mouse fell out of a ceiling, sending reporters into a frenzy!!!

The wild scene went down Tuesday morning at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, when a mouse plunged through the ceiling in the press booth and landed in a journo's lap.

Members of the media were obviously shocked by the rodent's rude entrance, with reporters scurrying out of their seats.

A mouse hunt ensued ... and video shows the furry critter darting behind tables and equipment, eluding capture. One reporter even busted out a broom, but the mouse got away.

By all accounts, the mouse is still on the loose after escaping the office area ... and it was last seen running wild in the White House press briefing room.

Meghan Markle's nephew, Thomas Dooley, quickly lost his towel and was butt-ass naked during his rowdy arrest in Hollywood last week ... which we now have on video.

TMZ obtained footage of the arrest from Thursday, which took place right around the corner from the Hollywood Hotel just north of Santa Monica Blvd. As you can see ... it was a noisy affair, as officers attempted to detain Dooley..

We broke the story ... Thomas was arrested and ultimately booked for felony resisting arrest after police say he was spotted cruising up and down the boulevard covered only by a small towel.

Cops say he was also shouting gibberish to himself, and appeared to be under the influence of some substance. We're told he had to be taken down after evading police.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have tied the knot again -- and the Biebs is already admiring his bride anew in two new photos of the happy couple.

JB posted a pair of photo booth-style professional shots from Monday, with both him and Hailey kissing for the camera and then posing in goofy faces. He's got his white shirt and bow tie on, while Hailey's got her bridal dress ... which looks stunning.

Justin captioned the pics, "My bride is 🔥." The watermark in the top left corner marks their wedding date with, "The Biebers September 30, 2019."

Stacey Dash has got more problems than just a possible domestic violence charge .... turns out, she's broke.

Stacey filed legal docs claiming she is indigent ... meaning she doesn't have enough money to hire a private lawyer. She's asking to be repped by a public defender in her case.

TMZ broke the story ... Stacey was arrested Sunday after a domestic disturbance that ended with scratches on her husband's arm. Stacey claims any aggressiveness on her part was in self-defense, and that her hubby actually first attempted to choke her ... and she had to fend him off.

Jay-Z's work with the NFL is already falling short on his promise of diversity, making him look like nothing more than a pawn and the "token black guy" ... so says Uncle Luke.

The former 2 Live Crew frontman was quite outspoken with us when we asked him to elaborate on his op-ed in the Miami New Times ... in which he said Jay and the NFL were slapping Miami's talent pool in the face by booking J Lo and Shakira as headliners for the Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show.

He says the fact that Jay -- who, along with Roc Nation, is now heading up the entertainment side of things in the NFL -- didn't hire a local performer of color is a betrayal.

Watch ... Luke even goes so far as to say that Jay's essentially acting as a straw man for the league thus far, and gives him an F rating when it comes to mixing up the acts.

Damian Lillard just dropped a new diss track to respond to Shaq ... and it GOES HARD.

The song is called "Reign Reign Go Away" and it's pretty solid. He clowns Shaq's movie career -- from "Blue Chips" to "Kazaam" -- makes fun of Shaq's physique and then mocks his NBA championship count, with a strong Kobe Bryant reference.

"Kobe won you those rings though."

Moviegoers in NYC will notice a hefty police presence when they go see "Joker" on opening weekend ... cause the NYPD's not taking any chances on someone acting out.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ...  the NYPD doesn't want a copycat crime of what went down in Aurora, Colorado 7 years ago and is taking a "precautionary measure" by dispatching uniformed police officers to every theater across NYC screening the film.

We're told officers will be patrolling in front of theater entrances, though the public should be aware police have not received any specific "credible threats" to the Todd Phillips film starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker.

Gigi Hadid allowed a woman who jumped on the runway at Chanel's spring 2020 show to have her fun for a few seconds ... but then she stepped up and booted her ass out.

The woman -- who's been ID'd as a YouTube comedian known as Marie S’Infiltre -- awkwardly hopped up on the catwalk Tuesday morning at the Grand Palais as the models were taking their finale walk for Paris Fashion Week.

Dressed in a black and white tweed outfit and a black hat, the crasher tries to continue walking around the set when Gigi decides she's had enough ... and gets right in her face.

After what looks like a few choice words, Hadid puts a hand on S'Infiltre's shoulder and escorts her to the back exit ... with a little bit of force. Other models also gather around Gigi to block the crasher from getting back on the runway.

Mark Zuckerberg is rallying his Facebook troops for what he believes will be war with Sen. Elizabeth Warren ... IF she makes it to the White House.

Zuck laid out his battle plan during a July meeting with Facebook staffers ... according to The Verge, which obtained this audio. During the chat, Zuckerberg says Warren is out for blood, and wants to break up companies like FB, and ... "If she gets elected president, then I would bet that we will have a legal challenge, and I would bet that we will win the legal challenge. And, does that still suck for us? Yeah."

The face-off with Warren is over the 2016 election interference ... and it's clear Zuckerberg believes she's not ready to let it go -- even though the Federal Trade Commission already hit FB with a $5 billion fine.

Sen. Warren's already firing back at Zuckerberg, saying she wants to fix the "corrupt system" that allows his company to engage in "illegal anti-competitive practices."

Grammy award-winning artist Louie Rankin -- famous for his role as Ox in the movie "Belly" -- died in a car crash in Canada ... TMZ has confirmed.

Details are scarce, but Louie died Monday in a fatal wreck in Ontario, Canada ... the crash reportedly involved a transport truck and another vehicle.

Louie starred alongside Nas and DMX in the 1998 crime drama "Belly" ... and his character, Ox, was a Jamaican kingpin.

Nas and Louie became close friends during filming, and the pair reunited years later for a cameo in a DJ Khaled music video for his song, "Nas Album Done."
