A DoorDash driver was arrested after investigators say she deliberately pepper-sprayed a customer's fast food order ... an incident caught on video that left a couple choking, vomiting, and terrified over what they had eaten.

Kourtney Stevenson was cuffed Friday and booked on charges including consumer product tampering and battery resulting in moderate bodily injury. According to the cops, Stevenson was working a late-night DoorDash shift in Indiana when she allegedly contaminated an Arby's order moments before dropping it off.

One of the victims says his wife took a few bites before suddenly gasping for air and vomiting, prompting him to check the bag where he spotted a strange residue.

A person of interest was taken into custody Sunday morning in connection with Saturday's mass shooting at Brown University that left 2 students dead and many others injured, according to police.

Cops have not released the man's name or details about the arrest ... but CNN says one of its news crews witnessed heavy police activity connected to the shooting at a hotel in Providence, RI.

The big break in the case came after police released video of the alleged gunman fleeing the crime scene after going on a shooting rampage inside Barus & Holley Engineering building while students were studying for finals Saturday afternoon.

1:12 PM PT -- Australian officials have just given an update on the victim count ... announcing 15 people have been killed while more than 40 are injured. The situation is fluid and those numbers are subject to change.

Australia's Bondi Beach turned into a nightmare Sunday evening when gunmen opened fire during a Hanukkah celebration ... killing at least 12 people, including one of the gunmen, and injuring 29 more in what leaders are calling a cowardly and targeted attack on the Jewish community.

The chaos erupted as hundreds gathered for Chanukah by the Sea, a family-friendly celebration of the first night of the holiday. Instead, beachgoers were sent screaming and sprinting for their lives as gunshots echoed over the sand.

According to officials, the attackers positioned themselves on a pedestrian bridge overlooking Bondi Park before unleashing a hail of bullets onto the crowd gathered near the playground.

The NFL world was stunned when the Colts signed 44-year-old QB Philip Rivers to replace an injured Daniel Jones ... and that includes the team's top wide receiver, Michael Pittman, who told TMZ Sports he was "shocked!"

While that was his first emotion, Pittman told us there was also excitement about the move, especially since Rivers was his first quarterback after entering the league in 2020 (it was PR's last season, until now, of course).

"He really taught me everything that I learned about being a pro and about routine and everything," Pittman told Babcock.

12/14/25 -- The FAA tells TMZ ... "United Airlines Flight 803 safely returned to Dulles International Airport in Virginia around 1:20p.m.local time on Saturday, Dec. 13, after experiencing an engine failure during departure."

They add ... "The FAA will investigate. The Boeing 777-200 was travelling to Tokyo, Japan. Contact the airline for additional information."

A United Airlines flight needed to make a quick U-turn when it lost power in an engine ... and lit brush near the tarmac on fire.

UA Flight 803 took off from Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. Saturday around 12:20 PM ET ... when it "ignited some brush around the runway" as it was leaving the airport, a representative from Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority told People.

Video from social media captured the burning brush shortly after Flight 803 took off for Japan ... and, it shows tendrils of smoke rising up from nearly the whole length of the runway.

Providence, Rhode Island officials thought there could be upwards of 20 victims in the Brown University shooting ... according to dispatch audio.

After the initial call for the shooting came in, first responders showed up at the campus swiftly ... and, they relayed increasingly troubling estimates on the number of potential victims.

Listen to the clip for yourself ... early on, someone says they believe there are 6 victims in the shooting -- before someone later revises by saying there could be as many as 20 victims.

3:35 PM PT -- Providence Mayor Brett Smiley just announced at a press conference that at least two people are dead while eight are in critical, but stable condition at this time. These numbers may change.

The search is still underway for the perpetrator or perpetrators of the incident, Deputy Chief of Providence Police Tim O'Hara announced ... and, he's urging people to continue to shelter in place.

Mayor Smiley says a person was taken into custody earlier who was believed to be a suspect ... however, it was later determined they weren't involved -- which explains why Brown University previously told students a suspect was found. .

Multiple people at Brown University have been injured during an active shooting situation ... according to Providence, Rhode Island police.

The university shared news of the shooting Saturday afternoon ... updating students and members of the community that an active shooter was near the Barus and Holley Building on the east side of the campus.

While university officials previously said a suspect is in custody, a later alert corrected that error. There is no one in custody at this time ... and the admin still recommends those on campus stay quiet and lock themselves inside buildings if possible.
