1/23/2026 10:49 AM PT -- Trey Songz is now in the clear ... all charges in this case have been dropped, according to court records.

Trey Songz is back in trouble once again, charged over the weekend with allegedly destroying property at a hookah bar in New York City -- and assaulting a nightclub employee earlier this month, according to court records.

The latest incident involving the "Trigga" singer occurred in the wee hours Sunday at Mira NYC & Hookah Lounge in Midtown Manhattan. Court documents state Trey intentionally damaged more than $1500 worth of hookah set-ups, DJ equipment, and sofas.

After his arrest, police did a computer check and realized Trey was wanted for a second crime in which he allegedly assaulted an employee inside Dramma Night Club in Times Square on December 4.

Trey reportedly grew irritated when club workers instructed him and his crew to leave because it was closing time in the Dec. 4 incident. Our sources say one of the employees grabbed Trey's arm, prompting him to allegedly punch the worker in the face and cause him to suffer swelling and substantial pain.

Baby Smoove Arrested in Miami on Felony Drug, Weapon Charges

Detroit rapper Baby Smoove was arrested earlier this week on a number of drug charges -- but he swiftly posted bail.

Here's the deal ... Smoove -- real name Jaelin Deanta Parker -- was pulled over in Miami late Wednesday night while driving a heavily tinted yellow Lamborghini, police say in online records. When the officer from the Miami Police Department approached the posh car, they "observed a cloud of smoke ... and a strong odor of marijuana." The officer also noted a black handgun under the driver's seat, and at that point, all occupants were asked to exit the vehicle for the officer's safety.

Police say the musician and 2 passengers were swiftly arrested because they were not legally allowed to posess any firearms, and the gun was readily available for each one to grab.

Ex-NBA star Isaiah Rider is breaking his silence on his recent arrest ... telling TMZ Sports he had no idea he was violating a protective order -- because he claims he was never served!!

We broke the story earlier this week -- the 1994 Slam Dunk champion was arrested on December 4 in Arizona and charged with one count of interfering with judicial proceedings.

It all stemmed from a protective order his wife filed for in July 2025 -- his ex, Vanessa, said in the application Rider was aggressive with her and their son on numerous occasions.

Sherrone Moore has just been hit with three charges for his post-firing incident on Wednesday -- home invasion, stalking and breaking and entering.

The former Michigan coach appeared in court for his arraignment via Zoom ... wearing an all-white outfit.

The home invasion charge is a third-degree felony ... and carries up to five years in prison and a $2,000 penalty.

The stalking -- domestic relationship charge is a misdemeanor that is punishable by up to one year in jail and a $1,000 fine.

University of Michigan President Domenico Grasso is calling out former football coach Sherrone Moore ... referring to his alleged relationship with a staff member as a "painful" breach of trust.

People reports Grasso wrote a statement to the school's staff and students on Thursday, in which he claimed Moore violated "University policy by engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member."

The statement continued ... "There is absolutely no tolerance for this conduct at the University of Michigan. This breach of trust by Coach Moore is painful for many in our community, first and foremost, the individuals directly involved in this situation.”

Cathay Pacific Flight PASSENGER Arrested for TRYING to Open Door Mid-air

An unruly passenger was reportedly arrested in Hong Kong after allegedly trying to open an airplane door mid-flight on a Cathay Pacific plane from Boston.

The frightening incident went down on Wednesday ... fortunately, no passengers or crew members were injured, and the plane landed safely Thursday morning.

The airline tells TMZ ... "Our cabin crew immediately attended to the situation, inspected the door to ensure it was securely closed, and reported the incident to the relevant authorities and the police."

Hong Kong police say the suspect is a 20-year-old man from mainland China. He was arrested on suspicion of violating the Aviation Security Ordinance.

TMZ Sports has obtained dispatch audio stemming from the alleged Sherrone Moore assault ... with a woman claiming he attacked her at her home on Wednesday after stalking her for months.

The audio states a call was made from a Michigan football employee's address in Ann Arbor, Michigan around 4 PM.

The employee -- who has worked for the Wolverines for years -- was the executive assistant to the head coach, the position Moore held until he was fired for having an inappropriate relationship with a fellow staffer.

Football fans are waiting on pins and needles for the next update on the Sherrone Moore scandal ... but they'll have to hang tight just a bit longer to find out more on his potential legal trouble -- officials tell TMZ Sports charging decisions are not expected to be made on Thursday.

The Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office says the ex-Michigan football head coach remains behind bars as the investigation into an alleged assault continues.

The Captain of Corrections in Washtenaw County also tells us ... "We can only confirm he is being housed in our facility. No charge information will be released until after his arraignment on Friday afternoon."

Celeste Rivas Grand Jury Uncooperative Witness to Be Arrested

There's trouble in the grand jury room where witnesses are testifying about the circumstances surrounding Celeste Rivas' death ... because at least one witness is so uncooperative she's about to be arrested ... TMZ has learned.

Here's the way it went down ... Beth Silverman, the deputy D.A. presenting the case in Los Angeles, came out into the hallway Wednesday afternoon and approached attorney Evan Jenness. She represents Robert Morgenroth, who manages singer D4vd.

Silverman told Jenness she was going to have the judge issue a "body attachment" ... to force a female witness to testify before the grand jury. It appears the female witness was a no-show, and a visibly frustrated Silverman said she would have authorities take the female witness into custody and bring her to the courtroom.

We do not know who the female witness is, but it's interesting she's represented by the same lawyer as Morgenroth, who spent around 3 days testifying before the grand jury.

11:10 AM -- A neighborhood source tells TMZ, Micah was not living at his father's home but was known in the neighborhood for rambling in public and shouting nonsensical things to no one in particular.

According to our source, Micah had mental health issues, but the official diagnosis is unclear. The source adds ... Jubilant loved Micah and had been optimistic about his condition, as -- just a few weeks ago -- Jubilant told a neighbor Micah was doing really well.

Jubilant's wife was home at the time of the murder and was the one who called 911.

The son of slain Grammy-nominated opera singer Jubilant Sykes was allegedly violent toward his family years before cops arrested him in connection to the stabbing death of his father ... according to a restraining order petition.

Here's the deal ... a woman named Sarah Bennett filed for a restraining order against Micah Sykes for herself and several of her friends in 2017 -- alleging he tried to break into her friend's father's home.

In the documents, Bennett says she and Micah used to go to the same church ... and she claims he was relentlessly pursuing her -- saying she was his true love, and they were meant to be together. Bennett also claims Sykes sent her multiple texts and other direct messages

Sarah says her friend Jason Lee stepped in to defend her in person on at least one occasion ... and, eventually, she says Lee went to a meeting with Micah to explain to him Sarah wasn't interested -- which allegedly ended with Lee having to lock himself in his car to get away from an enraged Micah. Weeks after this encounter, Bennett claims Micah went to Jason's father Philip's home and attempted to break down the door.

The Arizona man who pled guilty to murdering his 2-year-old daughter while watching porn died from carbon monoxide toxicity -- hours before he was to turn himself in to authorities ahead of his sentencing, TMZ has learned.

The Maricopa County Medical Examiner ruled this week Christopher Scholtes took his own life using the highly poisonous, colorless gas. Last month, TMZ exclusively reported authorities were eyeing carbon monoxide as a possible cause of death and now it's official.

Scholtes made national headlines in July 2024 after he left his baby daughter, Parker, asleep in his car and went into his house in Marana, a suburb of Tucson, to reportedly play video games and watch porn.

A 20-year-old man has been hit with an attempted murder charge for his alleged role in the Kris Boyd shooting ... with the suspected gunman spotted being escorted out of a police station in handcuffs on Tuesday.

Officials in Japan originally said charges were filed ... but a source close to the actor tells us he was freed without a single charge filed against him. We're also told he will be staying in Japan to work on an upcoming project.

We told you about his arrest last month -- officers found 780 milligrams of Ecstasy, also known as MDMA, in his carry-on tote bag when he was traveling to the southern Japanese island of Okinawa from Taiwan.

Jeremy O. Harris, a Tony-nominated playwright and actor, is reportedly in custody in Japan on suspicion of attempting to smuggle illegal drugs into the country ... because customs officials at an airport say they found Ecstasy in his carry-on.

Jeremy was stopped at Naha Airport on Okinawa island after flying in from Taiwan on November 16 ... and he's been detained ever since ... according to Japanese authorities.

Here's the deal ... a fan named Callum Cantrill shared on social media that he and his pal spotted the controversial "super fan," Johnson Wen, at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium and alerted security. Callum said Johnson seemed to be incognito -- wearing a brown wig and mustache -- and was in the VIP early entrance line.
