The vice president hit the Blue Bayou Restaurant at The Happiest Place on Earth around 11:30 AM ... sitting with his wife, Usha, their children and what looks like Usha's parents.

Check out the pics ... like we said, it's the morning on the West Coast in the photos -- but, it looks like night because the restaurant is located inside the attraction, right next to where people get on and off the boat.

The little girl who fell overboard on a recent Disney Dream cruise, prompting her father to dive in and save her ... was, in fact, sitting on a railing before the almost-tragic accident.

A rep for the Broward County Sheriff's Office in Florida tells TMZ ... the 5-year-old girl was sitting on a railing and lost her balance, then fell backward through a porthole -- and her father immediately jumped into the water after her.

Authorities estimate it was only 20 minutes between the child's fall and the successful rescue of father and daughter ... and the sheriff's office praised the Disney crew for their quick reaction and life-saving efforts.

The father who jumped off a Disney cruise ship to save his daughter after she fell into the ocean isn't the only hero in this tale ... police say the ship's crew deserves a big shout-out, too!!!

A rep for the Broward County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... the Disney crew was crucially instrumental in rescuing the dad and his daughter because, simply put, they were well-trained and well-prepared.

The Broward County spokesperson tells us officials have launched an investigation into Sunday's incident in which the father leaped off the Disney Dream ship to save his 5-year-old daughter, who fell overboard.

A dad did what any panicked parent would -- he dove straight into the Atlantic after his young daughter fell off a Disney cruise ship -- and the wild rescue played out in real time via passengers' phones.

It all went down around 11 AM Sunday -- when a little girl, about 5 years old, fell overboard from the 4th deck of the $900M Disney Dream as it cruised back to Fort Lauderdale from the Bahamas … and without missing a beat, her dad jumped in right after her.

The two were left treading rough waters for a nerve-shredding 20 minutes, while shocked passengers could only watch from the rails as they drifted further out, becoming just two tiny dots in the distance.

It's a wild watch -- bunny-ears chick showed zero chill, dramatically shoving the mom, who let out a bloodcurdling scream and collapsed to the ground, clutching her kid, terrified she'd get hit with round two.

1:30 PM PT -- John Morgan and attorney Alberto Oliveri tell TMZ ... “Our client was severely injured on a ride at Disney’s Blizzard Beach. He has filed a lawsuit alleging that it was the defendant’s lax safety measures and oversight that contributed to those injuries. We are pursuing justice for him and working to hold Disney accountable for their alleged negligence.”

Walt Disney World’s got a splashy lawsuit on its hands -- literally -- after a man who was over the ride’s weight limit says he was launched into agony ... and now he’s gunning for some serious cash.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, Eugene Strickland -- who weighed 334 lbs. when he hit the Downhill Double Dipper at Disney’s Blizzard Beach in July 2021 (despite its 300-lb individual weight limit) -- says the ride sent him flying and allegedly left him with permanent injuries.

Strickland claims the design of the inner tube caused it to slide out under him, which allegedly resulted in him being launched into the air before he came crashing down the hard plastic. Nearly 4 years later, he says he’s still suffering. He's talking catastrophic injuries, pain, scarring, and an alleged loss of the ability to enjoy life.

A Maryland woman was arrested in Florida after cops say she beat up a kid who hit her with a very juvenile Muppets-related burn.

Kristy Crampton, a 46-year-old from Hagerstown, MD, was arrested Monday at the Orlando Sanford Airport after cops got a call asking them to come to a gate where a flight headed for Maryland was sitting on the tarmac.

When they got there, cops say they spoke to Crampton and 2 other people -- whose names are redacted from the police report -- with one of them claiming the alleged victim was suffering from behavioral issues, both at home and on the flight.

Diagnosed in early April with severe pancreatitis, Rondell is resting comfortably and is under the care of a fantastic team of doctors who have said that with time, he should make a full recovery.

In response to some online fans who have remarked that they worried this might be drug or alcohol related, this could not be farther from the truth as Rondell shies away from drugs and alcohol."

Rondell Sheridan has been in the hospital for multiple weeks ... ending up in a bed because of pancreatitis -- and, now he's asking his fans for help.

The former Disney Channel star -- best known for his work on the show "That's So Raven" -- shared an update on his health on social media Tuesday ... explaining he was out on the road in April and needed to go to the hospital.

Sheridan says doctors initially thought it was gastric ... so, they let him go -- but, he was back in the hospital days later, and this time docs diagnosed him with pancreatitis.

It took nearly 5 years, but Spectacular Blue Smith has officially put his Disney World arrest behind him ... prosecutors just dropped the case!!!

We broke the story back in December 2020 ... the Pretty Ricky rapper was charged with battery after being accused of punching an employee at Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom, where he was arrested ... for the first time in his life!!!
