Winklevoss Twins Fold in Facebook Lawsuit

Published | Updated

The Winklevoss twins are waiving the white flag in their epic legal war with Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg.

The Winklevi have been fighting Zuckerberg for 7 years, claiming he jacked their idea for a social network.

The Twins claim Zuckerberg actually screwed them twice -- the second time by hiding documents that could have scored them more than the $65 mil they settled for back in 2008.

The W.T.'s were trying to get a judge to invalidate the settlement so they could renew their fight for more money, but after a series of legal setbacks, they have now officially dropped the case.

According to the final court filing today, the Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss agreed to accept the settlement of $65 million in stock.

Now here's the good news for The Twins. The stock has now swelled in value to $100 million.

Soulja Boy: I Was HACKED, I'm No Racist Homophobe!

Published | Updated

Rapper Soulja Boy claims he's the latest victim of an evil hacker -- who broke into his Facebook account and posted a disgusting homophobic, racist rant over the weekend.

The rant -- aimed at "haters" who posted negative comments on the rapper's Facebook page -- included the lines, "IM TIRED OF WHITE PEOPLE DOING US LIKE THIS MAN!! THEY TREAT US SO WRONG!! f**k THEM."

The rant continued, "I'm gonna keep talking sh*t to these white f*ggots until they unlike my page. f**king weirdo stalkers!"

Now, in a statement to TMZ, Soulja says, "I wanted to clear the air and let everyone know that my Facebook got hacked."

He explains, "I had administrators on my account that no longer work with me. The hackers used these old accounts to post hateful messages. This was not done by me or anyone on my team and I'm upset that I am being labeled as a racist and homophobic person."

Winklevi Gunning for Supreme Court Showdown

Published | Updated

It's their last stand -- TMZ has learned, the Winklevoss twins have decided to take their beef with Facebook to the Supreme Court ... to undo a $65 million settlement with the company.

It's their final shot at redemption after losing several rounds in court -- including the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals -- Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss now want the Supreme Court to invalidate the settlement agreement they made with Facebook back in 2008 ... reportedly valued at $65 million.

The twins insist they were defrauded by Mark Zuckerberg during negotiations for the settlement -- which was paid in Facebook stock -- claiming the actual value of the settlement was less than half what they were led to believe.

The twins just released a statement, claiming their attorney intends to file a petition with the Supreme Court after they were shut down by the 9th Circuit today.

According to the statement, "The Court’s decision shut the courthouse door to a solid claim that Facebook obtained this settlement by committing securities fraud. Our Petition to the Supreme Court will ask the high court to decide whether that door should be reopened."

Winklevoss Twins Mark Said He Wanted to F**k Us

Published | Updated

Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss are not giving up on their claim ... Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook defrauded them in settling their beef with the social network -- and they point to two damning IMs.

The Winklevosses say in

- obtained by TMZ -- Zuckerberg and Facebook intentionally withheld instant messages sent by Mark in 2004, saying, "Yeah, I'm going to f**k them ... probably in the [ear]."

In another IM, Zuckerberg told a friend, "But they [the twins] made a mistake haha. They asked me to make it for them. So I'm like delaying it so it won't be ready until after the facebook thing comes out."

The Winklevosses settled their dispute with Zuckerberg and Facebook for $65 million, but they've been trying to undo the settlement on grounds they were defrauded.

The twins lost several rounds in court, but now they are asking a federal appellate court to look at the settlement again, and acknowledge the IMs are proof of fraud and therefore the settlement should be invalidated.

Kelly Clarkson Best Buy Fixed My Orphan Problem

Kelly Clarkson waged war on Best Buy this week -- after one store refused to sell her iPods for her orphan charity drive -- but, fortunately, this story has a happy ending.

Kelly wrote a diatribe on her Facebook page on Tuesday -- claiming Best Buy at the Ridgemar Mall in Fort Worth, TX refused to sell her iPod shuffles ... citing a store policy which limits how many iPods they can sell to a customer.

But according to sources at Best Buy, no such policy exists ... and corporate is PISSED -- in fact, a BB rep even left an apology on Clarkson's Facebook, explaining, "We spoke to the management [at Ridgemar] and they'd like to apologize for this experience ... their intention was not to upset you."

But that's not all Best Buy did -- after Kelly was allowed to buy the iPods she wanted at a nearby location ... BB corporate donated a bunch to her charity. Hooray!

Zuckerberg has obtained a restraining order against 31-year-old Pradeep Manukonda -- after Mark filed legal papers claiming the guy has tried to "follow, surveil and contact Mr. Zuckerberg using language threatening his personal safety" ... and the safety of his girlfriend and his sister.

Law enforcement sources tell us Pradeep had gone to several Facebook offices in Palo Alto attempting to contact Mark to ask for money for his financially-strapped family.

According to the legal docs, Facebook security also intercepted Pradeep at Mark's home on January 24 just as he was about to walk up the front steps.

Cops gave Pradeep a verbal warning -- but Mark claims the guy has continued to try to contact him through the mail ... even sending flowers to his home with a hand-written letter on January 28.

In one of his Facebook messages to Mark, Pradeep writes, "please help me, then I am ready to die for you." He continues, "Please understand my pain."

The judge has ordered Pradeep to stay at least 300 yards away from Mark, his sister Randi and his girlfriend Priscilla Chan pending a hearing later this month.

Selena Gomez Facebook Page Hacked

Published | Updated

Selena Gomez's Facebook page was hijacked this morning by a hacker who claims he/she was out to teach Mark Zuckerberg a lesson!

Early this morning, Selena's most recent updates had been removed and replaced with some vulgar language ... including a line that read, "Justin Bieber Sucks!!!"

Shortly before the cyber-takeover, someone calling themselves pkinJ0r posted a video to YouTube showing step-by-step how they got access to Selena's page.

But here's the rub -- pkinJ0r explained that he/she WOULD NOT publish his/her changes because he/she wasn't a "tw*t."

Instead, the hacker explained, "This video is to show how easy Facebook's new security page is to bypass."

So who published the anti-Bieber rhetoric??? It's possible pkinJ0r had a change of heart ... or maybe someone else hacked the page.

Either way, Selena's people jumped into action and deleted the hacked posts. Gomez has since posted a message saying, "Sorry everyone. My Facebook Page and Twitter account has been hacked and we are cleaning it up."
