How Giorgio Armani's Nieces And Nephew Will Help Lead His Company

Published

Giorgio Armani's death at the age of 91 in September 2025 left the fashion world shocked, and questions have been raised about the future of his company.

Although the designer didn't leave any children behind, a plan for what would happen after his death was drafted in 2016 ... and several of his family members -- including his nieces Roberta and Silvana and his nephew Andrea Camerana -- are set to help lead the company, according to Reuters.

Here's a look at the professional lives and experience of the fashion industry powerhouse's younger relatives.

Roberta Works With Armani's High-Profile Clients

Roberta is Armani's Head of Entertainment & VIP Relations, and she serves as a liaison between the company and its high-profile clients.

Roberta's work means she's been connected to plenty of celebrities over the years ... she was involved in the planning of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' 2006 wedding, during which they both wore Armani-designed outfits, according to Time.

Roberta's grown close to many of her clients throughout her work with her late uncle's company, and she told Time she'd been able to forge "real friendships" with the celebs she's worked with over time.

And she's pretty proud of her family's contribution to the fashion world ... she said she and her sister were "born with Armani in our blood."

Silvana Worked Closely With Her Late Uncle

Silvana works in Armani's design department, and she's overseen the designs of the Emporio Armani women’s label in the past.

She's been open about working with her late uncle on the brand's output, and she told Time she was often "stretched because he has his own point of view."

Silvana described Giorgio as a "perfectionist" -- although she admitted he was "usually right" about the changes he suggested about the company's products.

Silvana also spoke to Time about how she worked closely with her uncle, who would often share his opinions about the company's planned collections.

Andrea Has Held Several Positions at Armani

Andrea's held several roles at Armani over the years, joining the company in 2000 and working as both a counselor and licensing director.

He eventually became Armani's sustainability managing director, and focuses on the brand's policy toward the environment.

Giorgio himself admitted he was "convinced that a company must give back and not only take from our planet."

Andrea spoke about his position in an interview with WWD, saying his team wanted to "emphasize the idea that ‘less is more’" within Armani.

Luigi Mangione My Killer Looks Shone Through SHEIN Ad ... Chinese Supporters Agree!!!

Published

Luigi Mangione's slew of Chinese supporters might have been behind the shocking SHEIN ad, highlighting the suspected killer's good looks, that's gone viral ... according to sources with direct knowledge of the situation.

And there's data to back it up, which can be found on an online dashboard -- created by a Luigi fan -- tracking how many donations and letters Mangione receives at the Metropolitan Detention Center in NYC. How Giorgio Armani's Relatives Supported Him Throughout His Career

Published | Updated

The fashion world was left reeling in September 2025 after it was announced Giorgio Armani died at the age of 91.

The late designer drew inspiration from various sources throughout his life, and he often looked to his family members and loved ones for creative and professional support.

We're going to take a look at the fashion industry powerhouse's family life and see how his younger relatives have been set up to carry on his legacy.

Giorgio's Parents Raised Three Children

Giorgio was born to Ugo Armani and Maria Raimondi, and he was raised alongside his sister, Rosanna, and his brother, Sergio.

Giorgio's parents both played a role in his decision to enter the world of fashion, and he told The Independent his mother was the "main reason" he started working in the industry.

He described his mother as "an innately elegant woman" and recalled she made sure her children were "immaculately dressed" in their youth, despite having to raise them in humble surroundings.

Giorgio also spoke about his father's "elegant" qualities in an interview with The Telegraph and described Ugo as carrying himself in a "very simple, but neat" manner.

He Had a Personal and Professional Relationship With a Collaborator

Giorgio had a longstanding personal and professional relationship with his former collaborator, Sergio Galeotti, with whom he founded the Armani fashion house.

Galeotti, who also worked as an architect, actually persuaded the designer to sell his Volkswagen Beetle to finance the company in its early days.

Galeotti served as a source of support for Giorgio, who told GQ the architect "made me believe in myself."

Galeotti died at the age of 40 in 1985 following a battle with AIDS, and Giorgio said he saw his partner "everywhere" following his death.

Giorgio's Nieces and Nephews Work in Fashion

Giorgio didn't have any kids of his own, and he told GQ he wished he'd had the chance to have "many children" over the course of his life.

However, the designer does have successors -- his nieces, Roberta and Silvana, and his nephew, Andrea Camerana.

The three all work within Armani, as Roberta served as the company's Head of Entertainment & VIP Relations, Silvana was one of the brand's heads of design, and Camerana was its sustainability managing director, according to Reuters.

Giorgio's family members -- who were named in a 2016 document outlining a succession plan for the company -- are expected to take active roles in managing their uncle's brand, alongside other board members.
