The golf legend took a hilarious spill on the course after hitting an impossibly difficult shot during a tourney this weekend ... and it was all caught on video!

The two-time Majors winner was playing in the Cologuard Classic at the La Paloma Country Club in Tucson, Arizona, on Sunday when Long John found himself in an awkward position ... forcing him to hit a shot from a steep hill.

Impressively, Daly was able to get his shot off, but not without paying the price ... the 59-year-old lost his footing, and did a full-on belly flop, sliding down the hill before coming to a stop.

Cops in Florida have released the dramatic body cam footage of the arrest of Christian Barrios ... a fugitive who allegedly shot and killed two people near where the Players Championship was being held in Florida.

Barrios is accused of shooting two people in a Walgreens parking lot around 10:30 PM on Friday. He then sent authorities on a massive manhunt, including onto TPC Sawgrass property ahead of the third round of the golf event.

The St. Johns County Sheriff, Rob Hardwick, said Barrios had contact with multiple people on the course -- including groundskeepers and security. Hardwick also said he picked up a PGA Tour radio, but later dropped it.

A man shot and killed 2 people in Florida Friday, about a mile from where the ongoing PGA Tour is being played ... leading to the entrance time for the third round to be delayed by a couple of hours Saturday.

The suspect, identified by St. Johns County Sheriff Rob Hardwick as Christian Barrios, drilled 2 people with bullets around 10:30 PM Friday night in a Walgreens parking lot in connection with a domestic violence situation, Hardwick announced. He then sent authorities on a wild manhunt, including on TPC Sawgrass property, where the tour is being played.

Hardwick says Barrios stole a PGA Tour radio but later dropped it, and that K-9 units were hot on his trail at the TPC Sawgrass property.

The gunman then hopped into a black BMW and led cops all the way to Nassau County, where he crashed the car into the woods and fled on foot. He was eventually apprehended and put behind bars.

The two victims died in the hospital. Their identities have not been released.

Barrios has a criminal past with at least 27 arrests and was out on probation, Hardwick said, and he knew both people he murdered.

Tiger Woods had some special guests at his TGL event on Tuesday -- not only were Travis and Jason Kelce soaking in all the action ... but his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, was there in support, too!!

The night was pretty nuts -- Tom Kim nailed a hole-in-one late in the three-on-three league contest to help Tiger's Jupiter Links Golf Club edge the Bay Golf Club and secure a playoff spot ... which resulted in an epic celebration.

The golf world is finally hearing from Andrea Pavan after he fell down an elevator shaft in South Africa on Wednesday ... with the Italian athlete confirming he is recovering in the hospital after undergoing surgery -- and thanking everyone who reached out over the past 48 hours.

The DP World Tour released a statement on behalf of the 36-year-old on Friday, with Pavan saying he underwent surgery "on my shoulder and my back on Wednesday evening." While he acknowledged he has "a lot of rehab and hard work ahead of me," he's thankful for all the support he's gotten.

"The care I have received so far from the Mediclinic hospital staff has been incredible, as has the support from the DP World Tour, the Sunshine Tour, and all their staff here in Stellenbosch. I am also very grateful for all the help Johann Rupert and his wife Gaynor have given me."

Golfer Andrea Pavan was "badly injured" in a crazy freak accident in South Africa this week ... after he fell down an elevator shaft before a golf tourney, according to reports.

The scary scene occurred on Wednesday while the 36-year-old was in Cape Town to compete in the DP World Tour's Investec South African Open. He is now in the hospital with serious injuries.

Pavan was staying in a nearby hotel when he called for an elevator, according to Monday Q, who first reported the news. The elevator shaft door opened, but there was no car there. Not realizing, the golfer stepped into the shaft and plummeted three floors.

Thankfully, his injuries are "not life-threatening" ... though he did require hours of surgery after the accident.

Tiger Woods reunited with a familiar face this week -- ex-wife Elin Nordegren -- as the former couple, once at the center of a super contentious divorce, put their issues aside to celebrate their son's accomplishments on the golf course.

The golf legend showed up alongside Elin to support their son, Charlie Woods, as he received his Florida high school state championship ring.

Although it's not the first time, seeing Woods and Nordegren together is surprising. In the aftermath of Tiger's cheating scandal, the couple's 2010 split dominated headlines for months.

The drama is clearly in the rearview mirror, 'cause mom and dad were all smiles on stage with their boy ... one of the most talented teenage golfers in the world.
