Published | Updated

Vinny Guadagnino from "Jersey Shore" has issued a formal apology for rapping about pretend-raping strippers in a new song he posted to YouTube this morning.

The "Jersey Shore" star went to his blog ... and wrote, "I'd like to apologize for the rap. Was meant to be a funny take on an already 'dirty' song - funny since I'm known as the 'good boy'."

He added, "I am 100 percent against violence of any kind. I work with many organizations to stop violence and bullying, and will continue to. It's something I strongly believe in. Very sorry to anyone I've offended."

As we previously reported Vinny has already pulled the song from YouTube.

Anti-Rape Org. SLAMS Vinny 'Jersey' Star's Rap is Ignorant and Dangerous

Published | Updated

The nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization is BLASTING Vinny from "Jersey Shore" -- claiming the lyrics about rape in his new rap song are "ignorant" and "send a dangerous message to the public."

As we previously reported, Vinny posted the new song on his YouTube page -- in which he raps about having sex with a stripper and "actin like I'm raping it."

Now, a rep for the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN) -- tells us, "The lyrics in Vinny Guadagnino’s new rap song that glorify rape are ignorant. Trivializing this violent crime sends a dangerous message to the public."

"Use of the term 'actin' like' doesn't mitigate the harm this crime has on survivors of sexual violence."

The rep adds, "We hope that Mr. Guadagnino will reconsider his stand on this issue and leverage his platform to reinforce a zero tolerance policy for sexual violence, as he has with bullying."

For what it’s worth, Vinny has since pulled the video … and tweeted ... “Whoa! Some people really know how to take things out of context ! ... It was fun though!”

We’re told Roger’s a bigtime fan of the 2nd Amendment – and owns a 45 Springfield Armory XD Tactical … which he also brought along to the range.

No word on how JWoww shot – but we’re told she LOVED the feeling of cold steel on her skin … and is now considering buying a handgun of her very own.

You’ve been warned.

'Jersey Shore' Lawsuit MTV Stole My Friggin' Idea!

Published | Updated

The world would not have The Situation, Snooki or GTL if it weren't for a guy named Bruce Hulse -- or at least that's what he claims ... in a new lawsuit alleging MTV jacked the idea for "Jersey Shore" after he pitched the show to network execs.

Hulse filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month, claiming he and his production company set up a meeting with MTV honchos back in 2006, where he pitched his idea for a show called, "Jersey Shore."

In his suit, Hulse claims he even showed execs a video he made which featured, "stereotypical young men and women from New Jersey who were spending their summer in and around the New Jersey shore beaches and cities."

Hulse claims MTV "expressed interest" in the project and promised to pay him if they ever went forward with the idea ... but he never heard back and was SHOCKED when "Jersey Shore" premiered on the network in 2009.

Hulse is suing for unspecified damages -- probably safe to assume he wants something in the 7-figure range.

Calls to MTV were not returned.

Vinny From 'Jersey Shore' Ivy League Deviance Expert

Published | Updated

The apocalypse is nigh -- yesterday, a "Jersey Shore" cast member gave a guest lecture at an Ivy League school ...

It actually makes a lot more sense when you know the full story -- sources tell TMZ, Vinny Guadagnino was invited to speak in a Columbia sociology class on "deviance" ... a subject on which Vinny is a recognized expert.

Vin spent a lot of time talking about being bullied growing up. It went really well -- we're told students even applauded at the end -- but crap got real when Vinny opened the floor up for questions.

We're told one observer bluntly asked, "What gives you, as a cast member of 'Jersey Shore,' the right to interrupt this class and then lecture us on setting a good example?"

Vinny -- who wasn't big on speech and debate in high school -- was predictably stumped.

Snooki Website Issues Crippling Apology For Bogus Pot Story

Published | Updated

Snooki's legal team just smoosh smoosh'd all over the website that published a false story about her -- that she was arrested in a marijuana mega-bust yesterday -- because the site has issued an embarrassing apology for the mix-up.

TMZ obtained a copy of the mea culpa -- sent to Snooki's reps earlier today -- in which the website admits, "It has come to our attention that the story we released regarding your alleged arrest yesterday was false."

The site continues, "Our actions were wrongful and reckless ... What we did was wrong. We are sorry we did it. We are sorry for the attention it brought you."

And the coup de grace -- "We would also like to inform you that upon your request we will no longer use nor refer to you, your name, your likeness, nor your image."

Boom. Snooki wins by knockout.

The Situation Launches New Clothing Line -- Cheeseball in Paradise

Published | Updated

Mike Sorrentino has officially launched his brand new "Situation Nation" clothing line ... but it looks a lot less fist pump and way more "Cheeseburger in Paradise."

It seems Sitch has abandoned his bedazzled, Ed Hardy-inspired "Jersey Shore" style we've all grown to hate ... and replaced it with stuff that's obviously inspired by Jimmy Buffett's Key West leisure wear line called Margaritaville clothing.

Sitch is selling everything from lip balm ... to laundry bags ... and even $78 track jackets.

With Xmas just around the corner, Sitch stuff could be the perfect gift for that special someone ... you just can't stand.

Snooki Threatens Website Over Bogus Drug Bust Story

Published | Updated

Snooki is furious with a website that posted a false story today claiming she was arrested in NJ with a TON of marijuana ... and now she's threatening to sue.

The site reported that Snooks was pulled over on a routine traffic violation ... and during the bust, cops uncovered 12 ounces of the sticky icky. Problem is, Snooki wasn't in Jersey today ... she wasn't even in the tri-state area.

Snooki was not amused ... and now her lawyers have fired off a letter to the site, demanding they remove the story, or she's gonna crush their asses in court.

Snooki's rep tells us, "The report is 100% false. As Ms. Polizzi's legal counsel is currently investigating this matter, we cannot comment any further except to assure the public and Ms. Polizzi's fans that this story is a complete fabrication."

So far, the story is still on the website.

Stay tuned.

6:49 PM: The website has removed the story in question.

The Situation Sues Over Alleged GTL Rip-Off ... TOLDJA SO!

Published | Updated

The Situation's word is his bond -- weeks after the "Jersey Shore" star threatened to sue some guido-themed lifestyle company for ripping off his "GTL" trademark ... his lawyer filed a seething lawsuit to put the company out of business.

TMZ broke the story last weekend ... Sitch fired off a cease and desist letter to a website called MyGTLFuel.com -- which sells everything from energy shots to tanning lotion -- claiming they better quit exploiting his trademark ... or they'd face legal action.

Well, MyGTLFuel hasn't gone anywhere ... so Situation filed suit earlier this week -- asking a judge to force the site to cease all GTL-related operations and destroy any infringing merchandise.

Dana Valentino -- who owns GTL Fuel -- tells TMZ, The Situation has no case -- insisting the "Jersey" star has applied for the "GTL" trademark, but doesn't outright own it ... yet.

Dana says he wants to settle the matter amicably -- but he'll defend his business to the end.

The Situation Slams His Tanned Foot Down On GTL Rip-off

Published | Updated

The Situation had himself a situation -- someone was using his trademarked GTL phrase without permission -- so he had his lawyers make the copycat web site disappear.

The site in question was called MyGTLFuel.com -- which claims to "manufacture products to energize and enhance your lifestyle."

The Sitch and his brother/business partner, Marc Sorrentino, felt it came too close to their GTL trademarks -- so they had their lawyers draw up a cease and desist letter.

The letter worked and the site is down -- though a Facebook page still remains. The Sorrentino boys still want the bogus site to fork over any profits they made off the GTL trademark and are currently working towards a resolution.

If they don't reach an agreement ... we're told the Sorrentinos will file suit.

Former 'Jersey Shore' Star Sues Over Mall Attack

Published | Updated

Yes, she's still alive -- and to prove it, disgraced "Jersey Shore" star Angelina Pivarnick is suing the girl who allegedly attacked her at some mall in Staten Island last year.

Angelina's lawyer Stephanie Ovadia filed the lawsuit last week in New York -- claiming some 20-year-old girl named Kelsey Balzafiore beat the crap out of Angie at the Hot Topic inside the shopping center.

TMZ broke the story ... Kelsey was arrested for misdemeanor battery after the incident -- for allegedly punching Angelina's friend -- but now, Angelina says she was also the victim of Kelsey's fists of fury.

According to the suit, Kelsey "assaulted, battered and harassed" Angelina -- and as a result, the former "Jersey" girl "was wounded, bruised, and injured and sustained severe shock to her nervous system."

Angelina is also suing Hot Topic for having crappy security. She wants unspecified damages.

Calls to Hot Topic were not returned.

10/6/11: Kelsey's lawyer tells TMZ, "Although my office has yet to receive this complaint, I can say with complete confidence that the truth will prevail and Ms. Balzafiore's name will be cleared."
