Colton Haynes Gets Engaged Under Fireworks CHER Believes In Their Love!!!

Published | Updated

Colton Haynes just got engaged ... and the proposal was explosive, especially when Cher made a cameo.

Colton just posted a pic of him and fiance Jeff Leatham with the caption "I SAID YES!!!"

The proposal went down in Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Mexico, and Jeff clearly went all out. Waterfront movie, candles ... the works. Fireworks, that is. He even got Cher to sing Colton a line from her hit single "I Got You Babe." Unclear if she sang the whole thing -- but either way ... we're impressed.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

The "Teen Wolf" star came out publicly last year. It seems he started dating the celeb florist fairly recently.

Congrats!

Anti-'Beauty and the Beast' Theater We Thought Those Drag Queens Were Dragons!

Published | Updated

The Alabama theater that banned the new "Beauty and the Beast" for having a gay character damn near projected a drag queen documentary due to a pretty funny mix-up.

Carol Laney owns the Henagar, AL drive-in and tells us she approved "Fierce" as an upcoming feature thinking it was a Game of Thrones-ish kinda flick. She says the poster was misleading -- a woman surrounded by 3 dragons.

Sure, there's plenty of slaying in the docu-film about drag queens, just not the kind Laney had in mind for moviegoers. She says people started calling her out for banning "Beauty and the Beast" ... but leaving the doc on her schedule of upcoming films.

No shocker -- she's now pulled "Fierce" too, saying it's not in "her comfort zone."

Kind of a drag.

CHIP ON THEIR SHOULDERS

The guy who voiced the teacup in the OG "Beauty and the Beast" says a gay character in the new live-action flick is no big deal ... dude was always gay.

We got Bradley Pierce -- who played Chip in Disney's 1991 animated feature -- out at Craig's Tuesday night, and he told us anyone who thought Gaston's sidekick, LeFou, wasn't gay from the get-go is kidding themselves.

He also thinks it's hilarious that the people who are upset about LeFou have no problem with a woman falling in love with a buffalo.

WE'RE NOT GOING BACK

RuPaul doesn't want the LGBTQ community to get down about the Supreme Court decision to let lower courts rule on transgender rights -- he has his own idea about how to keep the progress rolling.

We got Ru in NYC, hours after SCOTUS rejected the high-profile bathroom rights case of a Virginia high school student ... sending it back to the court of appeals. He took the news well, insisting the Justices are stuck in the 20th century.

Ru also laid out his platform for success. It's all in your feet.

SCOTUS Punts on Transgender Bathrooms

Published | Updated

The U.S. Supreme Court has decided not to rule in a case that could have established a hotly-contested transgender issue ... the right to choose which bathroom they use.

The court was set to hear the case this month but sent it back down to a lower court for further consideration.

A transgender high school student in Virginia filed the lawsuit to establish his right to use the boys' bathroom at his school.

The SCOTUS decision follows the decision by Trump to withdraw an Obama directive advising schools to let students use their bathroom of choice.

THEY WOULDN'T HELP ME

Former "America's Next Top Model" contestant Bello Sanchez says he was raped in a Paris nightclub, but police refused to properly investigate due to his race and sexuality.

Bello tells TMZ ... he was at Le Rouge nightclub on January 30 when he was assaulted and raped by a man in a bathroom stall. Bello claims police conducted an incomplete rape testing immediately after the assault, and didn't get a proper rape kit until an advocacy group stepped in ... 72 hours later.

Bello, who was on cycle 22 of 'ANTM,' firmly believes police discriminated against him -- and he hopes going public will prompt a full investigation.

'Beauty and the Beast' Won't Play in AL Theatre Due to Gay Character

Published | Updated

An Alabama theatre owner is banning "Beauty and the Beast" because he doesn't want to expose his customers to the new gay character in the film.

The owner of Henagar Drive-In Theatre says Disney's decision to add its first homosexual character was the last straw for him ... and says he refuses to "compromise on what the Bible teaches."

He added, "If we can not take our 11 year old grand daughter and 8 year old grandson to see a movie we have no business watching it. If I can't sit through a movie with God or Jesus sitting by me then we have no business showing it."

He says he only wants to show "wholesome movies" without sex, nudity, homosexuality or foul language.

Caitlyn Jenner, Laverne Cox We're Backing Transgender Teen In Supreme Court

Published | Updated

Caitlyn Jenner and Laverne Cox just joined a transgender teen's fight in the Supreme Court, which pits Caitlyn, a staunch Republican, against President Trump's agenda.

The case centers around Gavin Grimm -- a transgender HS student who sued the school board in Gloucester County, VA for the right to use the boys' bathroom. In a new legal brief filed with the High Court ... Laverne, Caitlyn and her "I Am Cait" co-stars, Jen Richards and Zackary Drucker ... all sign on in support.

The move comes on the heels of Trump's announcement he plans to lift federal protections on equal access to bathrooms for transgender students.

You'll recall ... Caitlyn lashed out at Trump for walking back his promise to protect the LGBTQ community. The case will be heard March 28. It's unclear if Caitlyn will be sitting in the gallery.

Gay Ex-NBA Player Blasts Amar'e Stoudemire 'Don't Flatter Yourself, Petulant Man-Child'

Published | Updated

Ex-NBA player John Amaechi -- one of the most famous openly gay athletes on the planet -- has a message for Amar'e Stoudemire ... DON'T FLATTER YOURSELF.

After Stoudemire told Israeli media that he'd refuse to be in the same locker room as a gay teammate, Amaechi told TMZ Sports he's sick and tired of negative role models like A.S.

"These are serious times and we need serious people to lead important conversations, not petulant man-children spouting puerile prejudice," Amaechi told us.

"There is already one too many of those holding court in the media, and the world is poorer for it. Within the world of sport there are plenty of true role models -- on and off the floor -- whose words are carefully chosen to uplift and integrate society not join Trump and his grinning cabal in their 'locker room banter.'"

"In these tumultuous times, these true role models are the men and women whose voices we need to disseminate to every corner, not a braying jackass making a desperate grab for relevance amongst a constituency destined for extinction."

"Lastly, could someone please tell this man to stop flattering himself. It’s embarrassing."

We also spoke with Hudson Taylor, founder of Athlete Ally -- one of the biggest LGBT groups in sports -- who explained the impact Stoudemire's comments have on young basketball players.

Porsha Williams Kandi Took a Low Blow at Me! I'm No Bigot, But I'll Re-Apologize

Published | Updated

Porsha Williams thinks Kandi Burruss is taking shots at her just to fire up the LGBTQ community over some ancient video, for which Porsha's already apologized.

Porsha tells TMZ she's extremely disheartened Kandi would stoop low and bring the word "hate" into the mix while referencing her church sermon from 10 years ago. She claims it was taken out of context, and stands by her former apology for the video.

Kandi told one of our photogs she thinks Porsha doesn't love herself, because she attacked the gay community in the sermon even though she's had lesbian experiences ... which came out on 'RHOA.'

Porsha says Kandi should stop trying to make trouble ... especially because she already did a mea culpa, saying ... "I believe we are all God's children ... although some people judge others by race, gender, status, religion, or sexual orientation, we should ALL have the right to serve God."

She says she stands by those words today, no matter what Kandi thinks.

Kandi Burruss Porsha Is a Self-Hating Hypocrite On LGBTQ Issues

Published | Updated

Kandi Burruss isn't gonna lay down for Porsha Williams attacking her over her sexuality and, in fact, says Porsha's throwing stones from her own lesbian glass house.

Kandi was at LAX when we asked her about last week's bombshell 'RHOA' episode -- Porsha accused her of having a long-term lesbian relationship ... and she revealed Porsha had hit on her in the past.

But KB says the real crime here is the infamous video of Porsha condemning gays years ago during a church sermon. As she sees it -- Porsha's guilty of some serious hypocrisy, and she owes the LGBTQ community an apology.
