New York rapper Mims (real name Shawn Maurice Mims) is best known for dropping the earworm single "This Is Why I'm Hot" in 2006 ... but it wasn't until the spring of 2007 that Mims became a household name after the rap jam caught fire and went on to top the Billboard Hot 100 charts and opened the door for his debut album Music Is My Savior which included the songs "Like This" and "Just Like That."

Mims has switched from the music business into the tech industry and now puts his creative energy into apps.

New York musician Brendan B. Brown shot to stardom as the lead singer and guitarist of his band, Wheatus ... after they released the hit single, "Teenage Dirtbag," back in 2000 ... and was even featured in the 2000 teen movie, "Loser," featuring Jason Biggs and Mena Suvari.

Wheatus went on to release more music over the next two decades with albums like "Hand Over Your Loved Ones," "Too Soon Monsoon," "Pop, Songs And Death" and "The Valentine" ... but never reached the same success that the band experienced with "Teenage Dirtbag."

Wheatus -- with Brendan B. Brown as the only remaining OG band member -- is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album and are streaming performances on their patreon page.

California based actress and musician Daniella Monet (real name Daniella Monet Zuvic) gained mediocre fame in the early 2000s after she landed small roles on shows like "Zoey 101," "iCarly" and "Listen Up" ... but Monet's stardom really began to shine after her breakout role as the entertainment-driven big sister Trina Vega on the 2010 Nickelodeon show "Victorious."

Daniella Monet wasn't the only starry-eyed artist attending Hollywood Arts ... she was cast alongside some other epic up-and-coming actors including Ariana Grande as the kooky sidekick, Cat Valentine ... and of course Victoria Justice as Trina's younger sister and Hollywood hopeful, Tori Vega.

Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia was only 22 years old when she shot to stardom after she released her first single, "Torn," which topped the Hot 100 Airplay in the fall of 1997 and opened the doors for her debut album, "Left of the Middle" ... and even scored her a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Since Natalie Imbruglia's breakthrough record, she's gone on to release a long list of artistic music, model for brands like L'Oreal, a judge on the Aussie X-Factor ... but her greatest accomplishment was in 2019 with the birth of her son, Max.

New York natives and identical twins Nicole and Natalie Albino were only 20 years old when they shot to stardom in 2004 as Nina Sky after their hit single Move Ya Body became the banger of the summer and landed at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts ... paving the way for their debut album "Nina Sky."

The mirror-image musicians made quite a name for themselves and went on to release a long library of music over the next decade which included collaborations with big-name artists including Rick Ross, Major Lazer and N.O.R.E ... but never reached the same success as the Albino twins did with Move Ya Body.

Australia actor Jason Gann gained fame in OZ for his joint-loving leg-humping canine character, Wilfred ... but shot to stardom internationally in 2011 after the show, "Wilfred," was remade stateside on FX.

Jason Gann starred alongside a cool cast of actors on the American version of the show including Fiona Gubelmann as the dog owner and hot blonde next door, Jenna ... and of course, Elijah Wood as the pet-friendly lawyer, who crushes on Jenna and has some hilarious hallucinations with Wilfred, Ryan Newman.

Gann wasn't just an actor on the shepherd show ... Jason was also credited with writing and producing the dark comedy.

Child actor and Pennsylvania-native Robert J. Steinmiller Jr. (now goes by Bob Steinmiller) was only a teenager when he shot to stardom after playing the brave young boy, Jack Leary -- who deals with life in his dysfunctional family and navigates through his strange neighborhood -- in the 1993 Marshall Herskovitz film, "Jack the Bear."

Robert J. Steinmiller Jr. shared the big screen with some awesome actors including Miko Hughes as the younger brother, Dylan Leary ... and of course, Danny DeVito as the defective dad, John Leary.

Steinmiller is also known for playing Chuckie in the 1991 canine movie, "Bingo."

Brooklyn-based singer and actor Ellen Greene is best known for her role as the blonde-bob babes and shop assistant, Audrey -- who is the love interest (and meal interest) of the skid row plant shop -- in the plant-based 1986 musical, "Little Shop of Horrors."

Ellen Greene was cast alongside an epic group of actors in the film adaptation of the broadway botany hit including Steve Martin as the nitrous huffing boyfriend and dangerous dentist, Dr. Orin Scrivello ... and of course Rick Moranis as the alien plant feeding florist and Audrey's forever love, Seymour Krelborn.

New York City-native Mercedes Ruehl gained fame in the '80s when she landed the role of the distraught mother, Mrs. Baskin -- who wields a knife and chases her big son out of the house and later threatens him on the phone -- in the classic 1988 over-grown comedy, "BIG."

Mercedes Ruehl shared the screen with stars like Robert Loggia as the toy giant, Mr. MacMillan, John Heard as the paddle ball-cheating Paul Davenport, Elizabeth Perkins as the ravishing Susan Lawrence ... and of course, Tom Hanks as the larger-than-life Josh Baskin.

That same year Mercedes solidified herself as a star after she was in the film, "Married To The Mod," as the gangster wife, Connie Russo.

Child actor Kelley Parker gained fame at a very young age after she was cast to play the little, blonde homeless girl, Katie -- who follows Michael Jackson around the city, dodges lethal injections from Mr. Big (played by Joe Pesci) and watches MJ turn into an epic, flying robot -- in the ground-breaking 1988 music movie, "Moonwalker."

Kelley Parker was cast alongside two well-known child actors ... musician and artist Sean Lennon (John Lennon and Yoko Ono's son) played Katie's homeless friend, Sean and Brandon Quintin Adams (of "Sandlot" and "Mighty Ducks" fame) played the mini MJ and gang leader in the Badder segment and the final homeless kid, Zeke, at the ending of the film.

Florida-born actor Adrian R'Mante is best known for his role as the fumbling Peruvian bellman, Esteban (full name Esteban Julio Ricardo Montoya de la Rosa Ramírez) -- who hangs around the Tipton Hotel and tries to keep the peace between the teens' kooky antics -- in the early 2000s Disney Channel sitcom, "The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody."

Adrian R'Mante was cast alongside some awesome young actors including Brenda Song as the hotel heir, London Tipton, Ashley Tisdale as the candy kid, Maddie Fitzpatrick ... and of course, Dylan and Cole Sprouse as Zack and Cody Martin.

Polish-American actress Zuzanna Szadkowski shot to stardom after she landed the role of the Waldorf family's wacky maid, Dorota Kishlovsky -- who gets wrapped up in all the drama revolving around the Upper East Side elite -- on the long-running CW drama "Gossip Girl."

Zuzanna Szadkowski was cast alongside an epic group of young actors including Blake Lively as the BFF, Serena van der Woodsen, Taylor Momsen as the fashionable friend, Jenny Humphrey ... and of course, Leighton Meester as the Constance Billard it girl, Miss Blair Waldorf.

Szadkowski can more recently be spotted on "Worth," "Minyan" and "Loserville."

California-based comedian Christopher Titus shifted his career into overdrive in the early 2000s after he starred as the title role of Titus -- where he would deliver dark comedy commentary in an empty room in each episode in black and white -- on the short-lived Fox family comedy, "Titus."

Christopher Titus cracked jokes on the show alongside some other funny famous people like Cynthia Watros as the blonde love interest Erin Fitzpatrick, Davis Shatraw as the lifelong best friend Tommy Shafter ... and of course Stacy Keach as the tough-loving father figure Ken Titus.

Iowa-born actor David Anthony Higgins is best known for his role as the wacky Lucky Aide employee, Craig Feldspar -- who's deeply in love with his coworker, Lois -- in the super funny family sitcom, "Malcolm in the Middle."

David Anthony Higgins was cast alongside some hilarious actors including Frankie Muniz as the title character, Malcolm, and Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek as the manic parents, Hal and Lois.

Higgins got his start in the entertainment biz in the early '90s when he scored the role of Joe Farrell on the iconic ABC sitcom, "Ellen," with Ellen DeGeneres.

New York-native Rory Cochrane was only 20 years old when he landed the role of the long-haired high school burnout Ron Slater -- who gets stoned and sits shotgun with Matt McConaughey's cool character David Wooderson -- in the classic 1993 throwback film "Dazed and Confused."

Rory Cochrane was cast alongside a laundry list of stars on the rise including actors like Ben Affleck as the paddle-happy, Fred O'Bannion, Adam Goldberg as the punchy, Mike Newhouse, Milla Jovovich as the hot hippie Michelle Burroughs and of course Joey Lauren Adams and Parker Posey as the popular hazing seniors, Simone Kerr and Darla Marks.

Japanese actor Akira Takarada was only 20 years old when he gained international fame after landing the lead role of the sea captain who saves the day, Hideto Ogata, in the OG classic monster movie, "Godzilla," that was released way back in 1954.

Akira Takarada wast cast alongside Akihiko Hirata as the smart scientist, Dr. Daisuke Serizawa, who sacrifices himself to save the world, and Momoko Kochi as Ogata and Serizawa's beautiful love interest, Emiko Yamane.

Takarada went on to star in many more of the 'Godzilla' franchise films including "Mothra vs. Godzilla," "Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster" and even the 2004 film, "Godzilla: Final Wars."
