Mary J. Blige Charity Sued Over Missing $250k

Published | Updated

Mary J. Blige's charity is more TAKE than give ... this according to a bank which claims it lent the foundation $250,000 ... but only got $400 back.

TMZ has learned ... the Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now is being sued by TD Bank over a $250k loan it took out back in June 2011.

According to a suit filed earlier this month in New York, the foundation agreed to pay the money back by December 2011, but when the time came to collect ... the org. had only put a $368.33 dent into the principal.

The bank claims it has demanded payment in writing on February 7 and 29, but hasn't heard back from the foundation.

This lawsuit isn't the only troubles with which the foundation is dealing. It didn't file a federal tax return for 2010 .. so says the NY Post, and it's also being sued by musicians from a 2011 fundraising gala who claim when it came time for payment they were stiffed.

A rep for Blige tells TMZ, "The Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation For The Advancement Of Women Now, Inc. (FFAWN) is presently transitioning its management and headquarters."

The rep adds, "We remain committed to our mandate of helping women gain the confidence and skills necessary to reach their full individual potential."

Brendan Fraser Sues Over 'William Tell' Pay Me My $2 Million!!!

Published | Updated

Brendan Fraser claims the producers behind a new 3D movie about William Tell have screwed him out of more than $2 million in acting fees -- and now, he's suing for every penny ... plus more.

Brendan filed the lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court -- claiming producer Todd Moyer hired him to act in "The Legend of William Tell: 3D" in early 2011, promising to begin shooting in October of that year.

Brendan claims he fully committed to the schedule -- passing up several other lucrative acting jobs to remain available for the William Tell gig.

But according to the lawsuit, Moyer couldn't stay on schedule due to financing problems -- relegating the William Tell project to development hell. The movie is still listed in pre-production on IMDb.

Brendan says his contract guarantees a payout of $2.25 million whether the film shoots or not -- and now, he wants all that money ... plus additional damages. All told, Brendan wants more than $3 million.

Todd Moyer tells TMZ, "This is the first I have heard of this lawsuit. As we told Mr. Fraser’s reps, we are ready, willing and able to make the movie for the September 3rd start date. [Producer] Julius Nasso and I have the movie fully financed."

Moyer adds, "Unfortunately, Mr. Fraser does not seem to be interested in making the movie as a 2D film as the producers intend to do. This is not a contractual decision Mr. Fraser has the ability to make."

Octomom Welfare Mom Blows $520 ON HAIRCUTS!

Published | Updated

Octomom Nadya Suleman -- who is pulling in $2,000 month in food stamps thanks to California taxpayers -- spent $520 on a Brazilian blowout, and 2 cuts ... TMZ has learned.

Octo's hairstylist Stephanie tells us ... she went to Octo's house on April 18 to cut her hair and do a Brazilian blowout -- a chemical straightening treatment. Octo owed Stephanie for an earlier haircut, and the grand total came to $520. Octo also paid Stephanie $80 for hair products. Mind you -- Octo wrote the check at a time when she was in dire need of welfare.

Stephanie -- who went to cops yesterday and filed a report claiming the 14 kids were living in squalor -- tells us she couldn't believe Octo was spending this kind of loot on haircuts when her plumbing didn't work.

Stephanie says a plumber had been to the house recently and told Octo it would cost $150 to fix the pipes, but Octo declined, saying it was too expensive. As a result, the kids have to use portable training toilets in the backyard.

By the way, Stephanie also says while she was cutting Octo's hair, the mother of 14 locked her kids in the bedroom. Take a look at the pic -- notice the chair she used to keep the door shut.

9:00 AM PT: Octomom just walked one of her kids to a school bus -- we asked about the giant haircut check, but she had no response. PS -- nice Elmo slippers.

Kardashian Family $40 MILLION PLUS DEAL With E!

Published | Updated

2:04 PM PST -- Sources connected to the deal tell TMZ ... Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kris and Bruce will get the lion's share of the money ... and they are each getting equal pay.

We're told Kendall, Kylie and Rob are on a lower pay grade -- and will be paid equally as well.

Scott Disick and his son Mason have a separate deal. Ditto for Lamar ... who hammered out a package deal to appear in both "Khloe and Lamar" and "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

We're told the new deal ONLY includes existing shows -- so if Kim and Kanye get a new spinoff show ... they will have to bang out a new contract for even MORE money.

The Kardashian family has just signed on for 3 more seasons with E!, and it's the richest deal ever in reality TV ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected with the deal tell us, the family will get more than $40 million for 3 more seasons of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

The 6th season of the show averaged 3 million viewers. The 7th season begins airing May 20.

Our sources say the $40-plus million deal does not include product endorsements and other items associated with the show that Kim, Kris and the rest of the brood are able to hock.

Warren Sapp to Judge: Jeremy Shockey Might Come After Me

Published | Updated

Broke NFL legend Warren Sapp has warned the judge in his bankruptcy case that Jeremy Shockey might sue his ass for defamation ... because Sapp accused him of being the "snitch" in the NFL bounty scandal.

As we previously reported, Shockey has been considering taking legal action against Sapp ... claiming Warren went on the NFL Network and FALSELY identified Jeremy as the man who blew the whistle on the New Orleans Saints just a few months ago.

For those unfamiliar with the bounty scandal ... the Saints were punished BIGTIME when league officials discovered players were encouraged to intentionally injure certain opponents ... and were even rewarded with cash prizes. Bad stuff.

Now, Sapp has filed new docs in bankruptcy court, listing Shockey as a potential creditor ... joining a long list of creditors that includes baby mamas, the IRS and a speech therapist.

Since Sapp initially filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy -- claiming he's broke-ass broke -- he's required to inform the court about any person who could make a financial claim against him.

Obviously, Sapp feels there's a chance Shockey will come after him in court.

Stay tuned.

Flo Rida Ordered to Pay $80k for Blowing Off Australia Concert

Published | Updated

Flo Rida has been ordered to cough up $80,000 to a concert promoter in Australia for mysteriously bailing on a 2011 show at the last minute.

Flo came under some serious fire when he failed to appear at the Fat as Butter music festival in Newscastle back in October. The event promoter claims he forked over more than $50k up front to guarantee Flo would appear ... but the rapper allegedly had a "hissy fit" moments before the show and refused to go on stage.

After the event, Flo went on Twitter and explained, "I was looking forward to performing for you but due to unforeseen circumstances I wasn't able to do so last night."

The promoter took his case to an Australian court -- which ruled in his favor ... and ordered Flo to shell out $80k in performance fees and damages.

Calls to Flo have not been returned.

'Goodfellas' Actor Sues L.A. Stop Squandering Our Taxes!!!

Published | Updated

"Goodfellas" actor Vincent Gallo -- also known for his infamous oral sex scene with Chloe Sevigny in "The Brown Bunny" -- is tired of paying for useless government programs ... and now, he's actually suing the City of L.A. to put a stop to wasteful spending.

Gallo filed the lawsuit against L.A. -- taking issue with a City organization called the Arts District Business Improvement District, which purportedly uses taxpayer dollars to provide trash clean-up, security, and beautification of the Arts District in Downtown L.A..

Problem is ... the ADBID is a massive failure, providing "no benefit" -- at least according to Gallo -- and he's sick of footing the bill.

Worse, Gallo says the government program is run by a private company that is doing everything in its power to keep it running ... because it's profiting off ignorant taxpayers -- $860,000 in the last year, to be exact.

Now, Gallo is suing to shut down the program -- demanding ADBID return all the money it's raked in since its inception ... a total of $1.3 million. A judge has yet to rule in the case.

Sylvester Stallone I Got SCREWED By a Con Man ... Thanks to Lisa Vanderpump

Published | Updated

Sylvester Stallone claims he was victimized by an "incompetent con man" who bilked him out of $1.4 million in a "shameful" home repair scheme ... and Sly claims he never would have gotten involved with the guy if it wasn't for Lisa Vanderpump.

Stallone has declared legal war on a Mohamed Hadid -- claiming the guy is an "unscrupulous, unlicensed predator" posing as a qualified general contractor.

In his lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court by legal pit bull Marty Singer, Stallone claims he hired Hadid to perform high-quality work on his L.A. mansion in 2009 ... after receiving a glowing recommendation from "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump.

Instead, Stallone claims, he was left with "inexpensive, damaged deteriorating and uneven cabinetry and malfunctioning appliances" ... among other things.

Stallone claims Hadid charged him more than $10k for a "high quality wooden kitchen island" ... but instead he installed a "cheap wood veneer/plywood product that is defective and virtually worthless."

Stallone says Hadid also installed an inoperable and unsafe fire pit, an incomplete and unsafe air conditioning system ... and he claims the glass work on the house also sucked.

"Far from the top quality job promised, Hadid's work was riddled with defects, abysmal quality and poor workmanship."

Now, Stallone wants all of his money back ... plus damages ... and warns, "If you want to hire an incompetent con man to do construction, then Mohamed Hadid is your man."

3:36PM PST: Lisa Vanderpump tells TMZ, Sly and Hadid did indeed meet socially through her, but she added, "They're old enough to make their own decisions."

Bristol Palin Levi Johnston's a Deadbeat Dad

Published | Updated

Levi Johnston owes more than $38,000 in unpaid child support to Bristol Palin -- according to team Bristol.

Bristol's lawyer tells TMZ, Levi hasn't made a child support payment for the ex-couple's son Tripp since June 2010 ... 22 months ago.

According to court records, Levi is required to pay $1,750 a month -- which means his outstanding balance is $38,500.

As for why Bristol hasn't attempted to enforce the order -- via wage garnishment or otherwise -- Bristol's attorney tells us, "We forbore pursuing child support collection in the (perhaps naive) hope that Mr. Johnston would do what men are supposed to do and pay his support obligation voluntarily."

The lawyer adds, "We were also concerned that garnishment or other aggressive collection efforts could exacerbate an already strained relationship" ... no kidding.

We're told Bristol is still holding out hope that Levi will pay. So far, no word back from Levi's camp.

Sapp says he never really wore the ring ... so he's not bothered by the loss.

Ditto for the college ring ... Sapp tells us, "Have you ever seen the Miami Hurricanes championship ring? It was 10 carats of cubic zirconia and yellow gold. it might be worth 300 bucks."

Warren Sapp I'M DEAD BROKE and I Lost My Super Bowl Ring

Published | Updated

Future NFL Hall-of-Famer Warren Sapp has filed for bankruptcy ... claiming he's racked up millions of dollars in debts ... but worst of all, dude claims he LOST his 2002 Super Bowl ring.

Sapp -- who played in the NFL for 12 years -- just filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in Florida ... and in the papers he gives a full rundown of his dire financial situation.

According to the docs, Sapp owes more than $6.7 million to various creditors ... including hundreds of thousands of dollars in child support payments and alimony to at least 4 different baby mamas.

Among the debts, Sapp says he owes $853k to the IRS for 2006 and another $89k for 2010. Sapp says he also owes $2,858 in medical bills for "Corrective Speech and Language Therapy."

Sapp says he only has $6.45 million to his name ... and lists all of his assets in the documents ... which include:

Britney Spears How to Make Money In this Housing Market

Published | Updated

Britney Spears could get $1.5 million more than the asking price of the house she's selling ... not bad for someone who's been under a conservatorship for 4 years.

TMZ broke the story ... Britney sold her Beverly Hills estate for $4,253,000 ... which is pretty impressive, considering she was asking $2,995,000.

But it gets even better for Brit. Because of the conservatorship, the sale must be approved by the probate court later this month, and during the hearing anyone can go before the judge and overbid the buyer.

We just got our hands on court documents, which show that the minimum bid the judge will accept is $4,466,150.

But here's the bad news. Britney paid $6.8 mil back in 2007. Still, all and all, she's doing better than most in this market.

As we first reported, Britney will be moving into a rental with her 2 kids and her fiance Jason Trawick ... until they find something to buy.

NBA Star Chris Singleton I Blew $10k on Lotto Tix ... Because I Can

Published | Updated

Washington Wizards rookie Chris Singleton says he doesn't care that he wasted $10,000 on Mega Millions tickets last week ... 'cause he would've blown the cash in the nightclubs anyway.

The 22-year-old baller -- who recently signed a $7 million contract -- tweeted before he chased the $640 million jackpot last week, “I’m about to drop 10,000 on the lottery and cross my fingers.”

Obviously, Chris lost his ass ... but justified the loss in a statement to the Associated Press this week ... saying it was “either that or blowing it in the clubs.”

Maybe his next investment should be a financial adviser?

Sounds great ... until you remember he was on board Robert Wagner's infamous rented yacht when Natalie Wood mysteriously fell overboard and drowned back in 1981.

Walken was never named as a suspect in the subsequent death investigation ... in fact, nobody was ... and investigators eventually ruled her death as an accident.
