Check out the pic -- Shia stepped out of a car in a funky shirt on his way out. He looked surprisingly cool, calm, and collected, even though the trip wasn't exactly easy to pull off given all the recent drama swirling around him.

Quick reminder -- court docs show initially denied his request to leave New Orleans and travel March 1 to March 8 ... ordering him to stay put and continue substance abuse treatment.

Mickey Rourke says there’s a good reason he stopped paying rent at his L.A. apartment … claiming the place was plagued by rodents and other serious maintenance problems.

The famed actor tells TMZ ... "The reason I stopped paying rent was because the living conditions in the apartment had become unacceptable," adding the serious problems repeatedly went unaddressed for months, despite my efforts to have them fixed."

He goes on to say ... "There were ongoing rodent issues that required multiple visits but were never fully resolved, and the bathroom and plumbing frequently did not work." Mickey says he made repeated requests for repairs, but the problems persisted and "basic maintenance was never properly handled."

Russell Brand wants you to know he’s still alive … even though people on social media seemed to think he kicked it.

The source of the confusion? Conservative podcaster and former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino shared a pic of himself on a podcast with Russell.

And he captioned it … “There won’t be another. One of the saddest days of my life. He was just different. And everyone who knew him, knew it. May God rest your soul.”

Here’s the thing … He wasn’t talking about Russell. He was talking about Charlie Kirk -- who's also in the photo.

But since Russell was front and center, death rumors started flying.

The actor decided to clear things up, replying on X … “I actually feel quite well. Not suicidal, FYI.”

Russell’s health may be fine, but he’s recently been charged with two new counts of rape and sexual assault charges ... on top of the other five he was already facing.

Robert Carradine tragically died before he could shoot a single scene for his last movie ... but he will still be honored by the project, TMZ has learned.

Connie Lamothe, director of "The Driver" -- AKA "Driving into Darkness" -- tells TMZ ... the table read will be on Saturday. Robert’s part -- a lead role -- has not yet been recast, so there’ll be a fill-in. After the reading, there will be a champagne toast to the late actor.

We're also told ... the flick will be dedicated to Robert, along with some sort of tribute at the beginning of the movie.

The actor took the stand Tuesday in Santa Monica as part of a trial over the failed final season of "House of Cards" ... and he was asked about his time at The Meadows, a rehab facility in Arizona where he checked in following allegations of sexual harassment.

Kevin testified he was initially told by a medical professional at the rehab center that he did NOT qualify as a sex addict ... only to later find out that The Meadows diagnosed him as sexually compulsive.

Shia LaBeouf reportedly just got cleared to fly to Rome for his father's baptism -- after a Louisiana judge originally denied his plea following his battery arrest.

According to newly filed court docs, a new judge has approved the actor's request to leave New Orleans. And per The Guardian, his weeklong trip to Rome to watch his father, Jeff, get baptized is now back on the table as a result.

Shia originally asked to head to Italy's capital from March 1 to March 8, but the judge wasn't moved by any sort of higher power and ordered him to stay put and seek substance abuse treatment. However, his lawyer Sarah Chervinsky filed another request in the same courthouse on March 4 ... and magistrate Peter Hamilton was happier to work with Shia's needs.

Robert Carradine Death Certificate Revealed

Robert Carradine was cremated with his ashes to be scattered at sea ... according to his death certificate.

TMZ obtained the late actor's death certificate Tuesday, after he died February 23 by suicide. He was 71.

As we reported ... the actor best known for his roles in "Lizzie McGuire," "Revenge of the Nerds," and "The Long Riders" -- died in an L.A. hospital last month after hanging himself.

It's worth noting, Robert's date of injury is stated to be on January 17, 2026 at the hospital ... over a month before his death, according to the report.
