Kevin Hart believes his ex-assistant Miesha Shakes should cough up a 5-figure sum for violating a confidentiality agreement where he says she agreed not to spill about him … TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Kevin is asking a judge to order Miesha to pay $50K in agreed-upon damages for breaching a non-disclosure agreement she signed.

Kevin sued Miesha, who worked for the entertainer from 2017 to 2020, after she did an interview with blogger Tasha K’s  … where he says she spilled info about his personal life.

Marilyn Monroe's death wasn't a suicide ... at least according to investigator Paul Holes, who believes powerful people may have played a role in shaping what really happened to the Hollywood icon.

Paul joined us on "TMZ Live" Friday to discuss our new documentary, "Celebrity Crime Scene: Marilyn Monroe" ... and he told us revisiting the evidence behind Marilyn's 1962 death left him with serious doubts about the official ruling.

Paul breaks down what he sees as major investigative failures ... arguing Marilyn's death should've been treated as a homicide until proven otherwise.

The set of an Amazon MGM flick with some major star power was evacuated ... after a shooting in Los Angeles during a watch party for a World Cup game ... TMZ has learned.

Here's the deal ... one person was shot, and a suspect was arrested at a large watch party for the game between Mexico and South Korea. The party was in Koreatown near the "Tyrant" set, a thriller starring Charlize Theron, Julia Garner, Demi Moore, and Hudson Williams.

A source close to production tells TMZ ... the set was not evacuated by LAPD ... but crew and cast -- which included some of those big stars -- were sent home by production as a precautionary measure.

Amazon just sold out Luca Guadagnino in a major way ... scrapping his nearly-finished Sam Altman film after partnering with Altman's OpenAI in a $50 billion deal ... TMZ has confirmed.

The movie, "Artificial," stars Andrew Garfield as Altman -- the OpenA.I. CEO -- and it reportedly tells the story of his short-lived firing from the company.

An Amazon spokesperson tells TMZ in a statement ... "We have the utmost respect and admiration for Luca Guadagnino as an award-winning filmmaker — not to mention a longstanding relationship that we hope to continue."

Eric André stripped down at the premiere of his new movie "Little Brother" ... literally.

The comedian arrived at NYC's Paris Theatre in a suit, but moments after stepping out of his car, the vehicle pulled away -- taking the suit with it and leaving him standing there in nothing but his skivvies.

The stunt is classic Eric, who's never been one to shy away from a ridiculous bit ... and with a new comedy to promote, he fully committed.

Tyler Perry's male sexual assault accuser claims the star refuses to sit for a deposition unless there's a guarantee Tyler won't be asked about his sexual orientation ... but Tyler's lawyer is calling BS.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Mario Rodriguez wants the director sanctioned for failing to appear for a depo … which he claims to have been trying to take since April 14.

Mario said Tyler and his lawyer told him Tyler would only appear if they agreed not to ask Tyler whether he is, or has been, sexually attracted to men … a subject they say Tyler insists is "irrelevant and inflammatory."

Anne Hathaway's family is getting a little bigger ... 'cause the actress was spotted on vacation proudly showing off her baby bump!

Check out the pics ... the 43-year-old Oscar winner was rocking a bikini with a towel draped around her midsection in Saint-Tropez, and later stepped out in a white cover-up. Either way, the baby bump was hard to miss.

Anne was glowing as she enjoyed a sunny getaway on the French Riviera with husband Adam Shulman and a group of close friends.

Tom Hanks took a major shot at MS Now's ratings during an on-camera interview with one of the station's correspondents ... who, to his credit, took it all in stride.

The embarrassing moment was captured on national TV after MS NOW journalist Jacob Soboroff, mic in hand, approached the Oscar-winning actor at Thursday's opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago.

Brad and Angelina Jolie's son, Pax Jolie-Pitt, continues to spend time with Brad's side of the family, recently joining relatives for a dinner celebration marking his cousin Sydney Pitt's engagement to Archimede Jerome ... according to Page Six,

The outlet reports Brad's sister, Julie Pitt Neal, was also at the gathering, along with niece Reagan Pitt and other family members.

But despite continuing to see relatives on his dad's side, the publication notes Pax reportedly "doesn't have much of a relationship with Brad."

Actor Paul Avery -- known for his work in "All My Children" -- has tragically died in a house fire, multiple outlets report.

According to Ridge View Echo, Paul's New Jersey home went up in flames a little before 1 AM Tuesday, with him and his wife, Shiela, inside.

Firefighters reportedly found them in the home in critical condition. The outlet reports that responders rescued them from the burning building and attempted CPR ... but neither Paul nor Shiela survived.

Brian Austin Green doesn't have to fight the temptation to double-tap his ex Megan Fox's sexy pics online ... telling us he's happy in his relationship instead of pining for his former flame.

We got the actor at LAX on Thursday ... and we had to ask him about falling into the trap so many people online do ... gawking at Megan's bod when she shares sexy snaps.

6/29/2026 11:04 AM PT -- Daveigh Chase's official cause of death has been revealed ... and the former child star died from AIDS ... TMZ has confirmed.

Daveigh Chase spent the final years of her life living in an RV with her boyfriend ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the actress tell TMZ ... she and her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, were staying in the RV in the Boyle Heights area of downtown Los Angeles, minutes away from Skid Row, up until June 3, when she was admitted to a local hospital.

We broke the story ... Daveigh died Tuesday at a Los Angeles hospital. Sources told us she died from meningitis and a blood infection.

Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman clearly understood the assignment at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards ... because they sent fans into a frenzy by locking lips onstage ... and it's all on video.

"The Hunting Wives" stars -- whose steamy chemistry helped make the Netflix thriller a breakout hit -- delivered a very raunchy moment during a comedy segment hosted by Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers.

Jim Carrey is going green once again ... because he's expected to star in a sequel to "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," TMZ has confirmed.

The follow-up to the 2000 holiday blockbuster is in the works at Universal ... and Jim will be going back to Whoville with director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer.

Jim's live-action film made a ton of money when it came out 26 years ago ... and became a staple on the holiday movie rotation.
