Heidi and Spencer: The Take Over Begins

Published | Updated

Heidi's in the church twittering about her hair ... cameramen are rehearsing the church walk-ins and outs ... and a bunch of cops must be wondering, "Who did I piss off to pull this duty?"

Yep, it's Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's wedding day -- or as they say over at MTV -- a really big episode of "The Hills."

The ceremony is set to begin at 5pm on the West Coast, if all goes as scripted, but there's already plenty of action outside the Pasadena, Calif church.

We don't want to give away everything, but there will be a "scene" with Spencer tossing a bouquet.

By the way, one off-duty Pasadena cop who's working security in the neighborhood said this about the happy couple: "I have no idea who this is, but I know my daughter will be freaking out when I tell her."

MTV's Real World Deforestation Challenge

Published | Updated

Contrary to the goals of the MTV's current Green Crusade, the most recent MTV "Real World/Road Rules" challenge -- which premiered last week -- seems to pit competing teams against each other in an effort to wreak the most havoc on Panamanian rainforests.

The devastation left behind once the shoot wrapped was described in a recent article from the Tree Climber's Coalition. They say MTV left the formerly pristine area riddled with trash, unstruck sets, and even discarded scripts for the so-called "reality" series.

Apparently when MTV execs see green, they're not looking at the environment.

Calls to MTV were not immediately returned.

Tila Tequila Winner Outed?

Published | Updated

Spoiler alert! If you're one of the seven people that are actually watching "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila," beware.

Did season one winner Bobby Banhart, whose break-up with the reality whore made room for a second go round of the trashtastic show, spoil this season's winner?

Posts on Banhart's now defunct MySpace page indicate former Playboy model Kristy wins the bisexual love fest. Our sources tell us that's right on -- Kristy wins the whole shebang. Even though she refuses the offer.

Kristy claims to have the "assets" needed to win Tila. Indeed.

MTV Staffer: "The Hills" Didn't Pay My Bills

Published | Updated

Two production assistants who worked on "The Hills" and "Next" have filed a class action lawsuit against MTV Networks alleging that working with Heidi and Spencer wasn't the only suffering they had to endure.

The lawsuit, which was filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court, claims the assistants typically put in more than eight hours a day, without meal breaks, yet were not paid overtime. Welcome to Hollywood!

For the days they worked on location, the assistants claim MTV provided them with already-completed and filled-out timesheets -- which reflected an eight-hour day -- even though on numerous occasions they worked much longer. Looks like the "real world" isn't just hot tubs and drunken hookups!

They are seeking unspecified damages. MTV could not be reached for comment.

LC Who? Spoiled Rich Kids Move to Newport

If you haven't yet gotten your fill of over privileged white kids getting famous for no other reason than for being over privileged white kids, then today is your lucky day!

TMZ cameras caught up with MTV reality star Frankie Delgado last night as he emerged from a Hollywood hotspot covered in lipstick kisses. This was a lot better than a recent spotting of Frankie as he was seen leaving a club -- splattered with blood!

Frankie tells our cameras that some guy had punched him. TMZ sources say it's not surprising. According to our spy, Delgado had an altercation a month ago with "some guy" that Frankie thought was bothering some of his friends. Come on Frankie, violence is never the answer. Anger management, however, might be!

'Real World's' Frankie Dies at 25

Published | Updated

Frankie Abernathy -- the punked-out, boat-phobic rock chick of MTV's "Real World: San Diego" fame -- died at the age of 25 on Saturday at her mother's home in Shorewood, Wisc.

Abernathy suffered from cystic fibrosis, though an official cause of death has yet to be determined, according to MTV News. During her stint in the "Real World" house, Frankie exhibited symptoms of cystic fibrosis, such as difficulty breathing and immune-system impairment, and it was a significant part of her storyline on the show.

Frankie had some tumultuous times on the show, and ended up leaving the house before the end of the season.
