Terrell Owens claims his assistant was WRONG when she told a 911 operator that he tried to commit suicide on Oct. 6 ... this according to a statement from his publicist.

T.O.'s rep, Diana Bianchini, tells TMZ ..."Terrell Owens absolutely did not attempt suicide nor did he attempt to overdose on pills on Oct. 6, 2011."

"The facts are that [T.O.'s assistant] arrived at his home that evening after he had already taken a sleeping aid to fall asleep. He was unresponsive because of this."

"Unaware he had taken a sleeping aid prior to her arrival, his assistant became concerned and decided to call 911."

"Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans was rushed to a hospital in North Carolina earlier today ... after the MTV reality star crashed her SUV into a light pole, while her 2-year-old son was in the car.

TMZ spoke with a rep for the Wilmington Police Dept. ... who tells us Evans, her son and a female passenger were all transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.

We're told Evans was driving the car -- and her son was in a car seat in the back.

Toni Braxton and her family had to put the kibosh on a major media event to promote their reality show in L.A. this week ... because the gang decided it was more important to be with a family member who's hospitalized across the county.

TMZ has learned ... more than 30 media outlets were scheduled to attend an event at Boa Steakhouse tonight to kick off the new season of "Braxton Family Values."

But plans changed when Toni's brother-in-law, Vince Herbert, was rushed to a NY hospital Sunday to be treated for a blood clot in his lungs ... and the family decided it was more important to be with him.

Sources close to Vince -- who's a regular on the show -- tell us he's in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.

Marie Osmond made a beeline for the ER last night after her Vegas show -- and was diagnosed with a bad case of bronchitis ... TMZ has learned.

Osmond's rep Alan Nierob tells TMZ ... Marie has a "bad lung problem" and was released from the hospital after a couple of hours. She is currently seeing doctors.

Comedy superstar Patrice O'Neal, 41, -- who recently performed at the "Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen" (below) -- suffered a stroke last week ... this according to his friends on the "Opie and Anthony Show."

O'Neal's pal Jim Norton made the announcement on the air this morning ... adding, "We wanted it to come from us ... we don’t know how he is. We don’t know how he’s going to be."

Norton added, "I didn’t want to do this by myself. I wish we had more news for you.”

Steven Tyler was suffering from dehydration caused by a bout of food poisoning when he collapsed in a Paraguay hotel shower today ... sources connected to Tyler tell TMZ.

Tyler was reportedly treated for injuries to his face ... including loss of teeth ... after the accident occurred.

TMZ spoke with the singer's manager ... who described Tyler's injuries as "minor" and said Steven has already been released from the hospital.

"60 Minutes" icon Andy Rooney has been admitted to a hospital after developing "serious complications" following a minor surgery last week ... this according to CBS.

A rep for the network says the 92-year-old is in stable condition ... but wouldn't release any specific details about Andy's condition.

Steven Tyler smashed his face during a "nasty fall" in a hotel shower ... knocking out several teeth ... this according to multiple reports out of Paraguay.

Tyler -- who was scheduled to perform in Paraguay with Aerosmith tonight -- was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital.

A rep for the venue where the band was supposed to perform tells TMZ ... tonight's concert has been canceled.

No comment so far from Tyler's rep.

Two weeks after being hospitalized for severe abdominal pain and inflammation of the colon, Bee Gees co-founder Robin Gibb was spotted leaving a television studio in London on Monday.

The 61-year-old -- who's been battling a crippling stomach condition -- appeared on a local TV show to promote a charity single.

John Mayer underwent surgery this week to remove a granuloma from just above his vocal cord, the singer announced on his blog.

Mayer said the surgery was necessary after his attempts to rest his voice didn't help.

Former WWE star Gangrel walked away from a terrifying motorcycle accident this week -- but suffered a gruesome elbow injury as a result ... and TMZ has the disgusting photo.

Gangrel (real name David Heath) tells TMZ he was riding his motorcycle in Burbank when he turned a corner was struck by an oncoming car. Heath says he absorbed more of the impact than his actual bike.

He was eventually rushed to the hospital where doctors diagnosed him with a fractured elbow. The bike will survive too, but it needs about $4,000 in repairs.

Country music legend Loretta Lynn is in the hospital with pneumonia and was forced to cancel a concert scheduled for tonight in Kentucky.

The website for the Paramount Arts Center posted a message this afternoon, saying the concert needed to be reschedule "in the near future."

Lynn had knee replacement surgery last month.

Derek Hough was just trying to party with his fellow "Dancing with the Stars" castmates ... when he got slammed into from behind ... by some dude in a Porsche.

Hough was waiting to valet his car at STK last night ... when another driver banged into the back of D's Audi.

After the accident, the two exchanged information in front of the paparazzi ... and the giddy other driver couldn't have been happier ... sporting a big ol' smile on his face as the snappers took shot after shot.

The news anchors at KBAK in Bakersfield, CA were super pumped up for a satellite interview with 84-year-old Harry Belafonte Friday morning ... but when they cut to the "Day-O" singer, he was fast asleep.

After they cut away from the singer, one of the anchors quipped, "Daylight hasn't come, man."

Tone Loc collapsed on stage during a performance in Atlanta last night ... TMZ has learned.

Loc's manager tells TMZ he was suffering from exhaustion. Loc was transported to a nearby hospital and given an IV ... but the manager says he is fine now.

TMZ received emails from several people claiming to be present at the concert who said Loc suffered from a seizure, but we cannot confirm this.

The manager added ... Tone was merely exhausted from doing 12 shows in the last two months. It does seem curious that doing a show on average of once every five days would lead to such extreme exhaustion.

TMZ has learned ... Rick Ross' private jet made an emergency landing in Birmingham, Alabama, 2 hours ago, en route to his concert in Memphis ... and we found out he suffered another seizure.

It's the second time today where a plane in which the rapper was a passenger made an emergency landing. We broke the story ... Rick suffered a seizure this morning on a Delta flight that returned to the Ft. Lauderdale airport.

Rick went to the hospital, was released, and then took off at 5:07 PM ET from Ft. Lauderdale to make his concert tonight in Memphis. But at 5:44 PM CDT, the plane was diverted and landed in Birmingham after Rick had a seizure on board.

Rick is currently in a Birmingham hospital emergency room. We do not know his condition.

Before Rick took off from Ft. Lauderdale, he tweeted a video showing he was ok.

Rick was supposed to be on stage in Memphis at 7:30 PM ET.

5:05 PM PST: Sources tell TMZ, rapper Yo Gotti -- who was originally supposed to perform with Rick Ross in Memphis tonight -- has now been asked to perform solo. So far, Gotti hasn't decided.
