"The Biggest Loser" host Bob Harper's looking good following his major heart attack, and says he's taking steps toward recovery ... small ones with his dog.

The fitness guru's been posting pics letting fans know he's getting better, but says the only exercise he's allowed to do right now is walk Karl around the city and in the park.

We broke the story ... Bob suffered the heart attack 2 weeks ago and was unconscious for 2 days and hospitalized for 8.

Normally, he'd be competing in the CrossFit Open this time of year. Strolling with Karl's gonna have to suffice for now.

Bob Harper -- a fitness guru who's the host of "The Biggest Loser" -- suffered a heart attack that left him unconscious for 2 days.

Harper tells us he was working out in a NYC gym 2 weeks ago when he collapsed. A doctor who was also working out administered CPR and used paddles to keep Bob alive.

The 51-year-old was taken to the hospital and says he woke up 2 days later. He was hospitalized for 8 days and is still in NYC -- he lives in L.A. -- because his doctors have not cleared him to fly.

He's doing a lot better and his exercise for the time being is limited to walking.

Bob -- a fitness nut -- says the heart attack is all genetics. His mom died from a heart attack.

Glad he's on the mend.

The Shelby County carnival in Tennessee is so dangerous it's shocking ... according to a new suit.

A carnival employee is suing Amusements of America -- one of the largest traveling amusement park companies -- claiming it failed to safely set up the Ring of Fire thrill ride in August 2016 ... which led to him being electrocuted.

The man says the ride hit a power line 35 feet in the air while it was being raised, which caused an electrical overload in a nearby generator. Problem is -- the guy claims he was using that generator to set up another carnival ride, and he got zapped.

According to the docs ... high-voltage currents from the generator shot into the man's hands as he held the controls. He says he was "frozen" in extreme pain until the current left his body by "exploding" out the bottom of his left foot. He says his shoe erupted in flames.

The man claims he was severely and permanently injured and his foot required 2 surgeries before he could leave the hospital.

Katy Perry might be chained to the rhythm ... but her backup dancer sure wasn't when they fell offstage at the Brit Awards.

Katy just performed her new song Wednesday in the UK -- joined by Skip Marley -- when a backup dancer took the tumble in his/her house costume.

She adds, "Bijou recently found out she has a friend that is a match and is optimistic she will have a transplant soon."

Bijou Phillips desperately needs a kidney transplant after suffering a blood infection ... TMZ has learned.

The 36-year-old actress and socialite was rushed to a Santa Barbara hospital Wednesday night. Her husband, Danny Masterson, was by her side at the hospital. Sources tell us Bijou had been feeling sick and her fever spiked ... prompting the hospitalization.

We're told she's been getting treatment for an ongoing illness.

She's currently in stable condition, but we're told she will need a kidney transplant.

Mischa Barton's meltdown last month had her neighbors extremely concerned, after the actress screamed for all to hear she wanted to kill herself.

TMZ has obtained two 911 calls, where Mischa's neighbors reported she was off the rails, leaning over her fence and vowing to end her life.

Mischa says someone slipped her a date rape drug and that was the trigger, but one of the callers says authorities come out every few months when she exhibits similar conduct.

Mischa agreed to go to the hospital after paramedics arrived.

She was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold back in 2009.

Jamie Lynn Spears' daughter, Maddie, is now breathing on her own as she recovers from the horrific ATV accident that left her submerged for several minutes.

A Spears family rep says the 8-year-old girl regained consciousness on Tuesday ... "Doctors were able to remove the ventilator today and she is awake and talking." Maddie is still receiving oxygen, but the rep told People it appears she did not suffer any neurological damage.

TMZ broke the story ... Maddie was driving a Polaris ATV Sunday when it flipped and submerged her in a pond.

Jamie Lynn Spears and her husband struggled to free 8-year-old Maddie from the submerged ATV for several precious minutes ... according to cops.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's dept says Maddie was driving the Polaris ATV shortly before 3 PM on Sunday when she swerved to avoid a drainage ditch. The Sheriff says that's when the vehicle flipped into the pond and immediately went under.

Jamie Lynn and Jamie Watson were about 100 yards away when Maddie and the ATV submerged. We're told they ran over to her within seconds, but struggled to free her from the ATV ... due to the safety belt and netting.

The Sheriff says Maddie was finally freed by paramedics when the ambulance arrived within just a couple minutes.

As we reported ... Maddie is currently in critical but stable condition in a New Orleans hospital.

Jamie Lynn Spears' 8-year-old daughter, Maddie, was badly hurt in an ATV accident Sunday, and we're told her condition is extremely serious.

Several sources in Kentwood, Louisiana tell TMZ, Maddie was on a Polaris off-road vehicle when it flipped over. We're told she was under water for several minutes and unconscious.

Our sources say she was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

We're told Jamie Lynn was not with her daughter when the accident occurred. And, we're told, Maddie was involved in a hunting expedition at the time of the accident.

A Nutribullet allegedly did what its name insinuates ... it shot like a bullet through a woman's hand, tearing it apart.

Wendy Littlefield claims in a new lawsuit she was blending canned tomatoes and beans when her NutriBullet 900 series exploded without warning, sending the blades spinning smack into her right hand. The pictures are super gnarly.

Wendy says she endured multiple surgeries but still lost feeling and use of 2 fingers. Wendy's attorneys at Abir Cohen Treyzon Salo, LLP, add this isn't an isolated incident ... they've filed similar lawsuits on behalf of at least 2 other consumers who claim they were injured by the product.
