Terrion Arnold is spending the weekend in jail -- and potentially a whole lot longer -- the Lions cornerback just made his first court appearance, and the judge ordered the 23-year-old to be held without bond.

Arnold, wearing a green anti-suicide vest, stood before a Hillsborough County (FL) judge Thursday afternoon, where he's facing eight felony charges -- four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery -- going back to an alleged February 4th incident in Tampa.

Authorities say the former Alabama star coordinated and directed the robbery of three men at an Airbnb.

Chris Evert says she underwent surgery and will begin chemotherapy shortly after a scan showed her ovarian cancer returned ... but the tennis legend is vowing once again to kick the disease's ass.

"I have always believed in being open and honest about my health journey. This past weekend, after undergoing CT and PET scans, I learned that my ovarian cancer has returned," the 71-year-old wrote.

"I have already undergone surgery as the first step in my treatment and recovery, and will begin chemotherapy in the coming weeks."

Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White is fed up with how Caitlin Clark is getting treated during games ... and a fist to the hooper's throat seemed like the last straw.

The league's biggest name was roughed up during the Fever's 111-109 loss to the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday ... a contest Clark left in the third quarter due to back issues.

Prior to her departure, Clark was at the center of two incidents White considered to be "cheap shots" ... including one that spread like wildfire on social media.

Angel McCoughtry isn't buying Dana White's explanation for why the UFC doesn't hold Pride Nights ... calling the stance hypocritical and arguing the LGBTQ+ community deserves the same visibility other groups receive through major sports organizations.

The star WNBA player joined us on "TMZ Live" and said Dana's argument that sexuality is a personal matter, not a workplace issue, doesn't hold up. In her view, the same logic could be applied to other groups, such as the military, which sports leagues regularly choose to spotlight.

Angel argues that giving the LGBTQ+ community a platform wouldn't hurt anyone and could actually help closeted athletes feel more comfortable being themselves.

The Knicks fan who proudly dumped garbage onto a New York City street to steal the basketball-themed orange and blue trash can is still getting dunked on ... she's been hit with multiple fines.

TMZ has learned the celebratory Knicks trash can was returned to New York City's Department of Sanitation Wednesday morning ... and, the trash bandit behind the ordeal was issued two summonses ... including a $75 littering ticket and a $100 ticket for impeding DSNY operations.

We're told the fines are the maximum allowed by law for first offenses.

We covered the wild story -- a woman, later identified as 40-year-old Angie Báez, was so happy about the Knicks' NBA Championship, she emptied a themed garbage can onto the street and then walked away with it.

JPMorgan Chase gave the ax to a senior executive caught on video dumping garbage onto an NYC sidewalk at the Knicks' championship parade and then stealing the trash receptacle, TMZ has learned.

A spokesperson for the Manhattan-based bank told TMZ that it fired Angie Baez after reviewing footage posted online showing the bizarre incident during last Thursday's parade in the Big Apple. As you know, the Knicks beat the Spurs 4-1 to take home the NBA Championship.

Videos uploaded to X show Baez decked out in Knicks gear as she dumps the contents of the trash bin onto the sidewalk and then walks away with it in front of stunned pedestrians.   

Bode Miller is speaking out after his arrest in Idaho ... insisting the drugs that landed him in legal trouble weren't his.

The Olympic skiing legend posted a statement to Instagram on Tuesday, saying he was pulled over for "accelerating while passing another vehicle on a highway" and claims a friend riding with him was the one carrying marijuana and a cannabis pipe.

Bode claims he was unaware his friend had the weed and pipe and said everyone in the vehicle cooperated with law enforcement during the traffic stop. He ended his statement by saying he's hopeful the charges will be dropped.

First of all, Salley said he called their title back in November ... and Jalen Brunson made him a VERY rich man for putting his money where his mouth was at the time.

Dustin Poirier says quitting fighting hasn't been easy, admitting he's struggling with booze ... after police video showed the former UFC champ belligerently cursing airport employees out before being arrested on Sunday.

"Im at the point where I need some help, walking away from fighting hasn't been easy on me and alcohol isn't the answer. It has ruined my father's life and I will not allow it to ruin mine, my family deserves me at 100%," Poirier wrote Tuesday night on Instagram.

He ended his message to fans with a vow to get help.

"I'm trying to do everything I can to get my mind right and take the right next steps."

TMZ Sports broke the story earlier this week ... the 37-year-old fighter, who retired in July, was arrested on Father's Day around 4PM at the Hartsfield-Jackson airport near Atlanta.

It's unclear exactly what went down on the airplane before taking off, but Poirier was removed from the aircraft, and he flipped out.

Police body camera shows Dustin acting aggressively with airport staff and a police officer who was attempting to de-escalate the situation.

"Let's go, big dog. Let's go, big dog. What's up? Buncha hos. Let's go. Let's go. F***in' lying motherf****r. Yeah, pulled me off the plane, all my boys went to the f***in' crib. Now, what the f***?" Poirier said.

"Man, f*** you and f*** her and f*** her. I'll fight you right now," Poirier said, squaring up with the man, who retreated and called for help.

Dustin ultimately went peacefully with the cops and even dapped up the officer he initially cussed out.

Poirier was arrested for "Public Drunk" -- a misdemeanor that can carry up to one year in jail with a conviction.

More importantly than the criminal case he now faces, Dustin, known as one of the best and most charitable fighters in MMA, says he needs help.

The details of Olympian Bode Miller's arrest for drugs have been revealed in newly released court docs ... and it looks like psychedelic hallucinogens are involved.

TMZ obtained a copy of the probable cause affidavit, in which the officer claims Bode was caught with a white dispensary bag containing psilocybin mushrooms ... aka magic mushrooms ... when he got busted earlier this month in Idaho.

The docs say Bode had 4.1 grams of shrooms on him and knew his drugs were illegal. The officer says the athlete was placed under arrest following the discovery.

TMZ Sports has obtained former Olympic ski star Bode Miller's mug shot ... and the ex-athlete's expression is giving legal wipeout.

We broke the story ... Miller was charged with two misdemeanors stemming from an incident in Idaho on June 6 -- possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

48-year-old Miller's booking sheet has him listed at 6'2", 200 pounds ... and noted a scar in the shape of a No. 7 on his palm.
