One person’s backing House Speaker Mike Johnson’s call to swap Bad Bunny for Lee Greenwood at the Super Bowl ... it’s the country singer himself!

Lee tells TMZ he’s right in step with what Speaker Johnson said yesterday ... confirming he’d crush the Super Bowl gig, thanks to years of belting it out for NFL teams, especially at their Salute to Service games.

In fact, the 82-year-old's such a hot ticket, he’s set to rock halftime for the Dallas Cowboys on MNF come November 3rd -- and since football’s basically America’s favorite pastime, he says busting out the anthem or "God Bless the U.S.A." at games is always a thrill.

Bad Bunny has ruffled lotsa feathers on the conservative right ... and the list now includes House Speaker Mike Johnson, who thinks the singing sensation is bad for the Super Bowl -- and for kids!

Johnson gave his take on Bunny to reporters outside the House chambers in D.C. Tuesday ... and it might shock some of you to hear what the speaker had to say.

The Republican Congressman from Louisiana kicked things off telling journalists he didn't even know who Bunny was before the whole Super Bowl kerfuffle.

Whoopi made the surprising proposal on Monday's episode of "The View" in response to Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem's threat that ICE will be "all over" the Super Bowl.

In a statement to TMZ, the agency backed up CL, saying ... "There is no safe haven for violent criminal illegal aliens in the United States."

It looks like Megyn Kelly's gonna be skipping Super Bowl LX's halftime show ... because she just slammed the NFL's decision to pick Bad Bunny as the annual event's headliner.

The conservative commentator made her remarks on Tuesday's episode of SiriusXM's "The Megyn Kelly Show," and described the singer's presence at the event as "a middle finger to MAGA and conservatives" throughout the United States, according to The Daily Beast.

Megyn also claimed Bad Bunny -- born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio -- wouldn't tour in America because he "hates the United States so much."

FYI, the singer stated he'd be skipping out on touring throughout the U.S. over concerns for his fans' safety after ICE raids started becoming more common in a September interview with i-D.

The sentiment apparently wasn't shared by Megyn, who referred to the singer as a "very unattractive female-looking thing" after sharing videos of him performing in drag.

Oh, and she openly wondered if the example set by Bad Bunny's pick would mean Diddy was a forerunner for next year ... he's in a bit of a messy legal situation, though, so we wouldn't count on it.
