The company behind the Kardashian shoe line is adamant ... there is NO CHILD LABOR taking place in any of its China factories ... claiming it's never even been contacted by the "agency" making the claim.

Robert Shapiro -- the famous lawyer-turned-entrepreneur who owns ShoeDazzle -- tells TMZ ... his team has invested tons of time, energy and money to ensure the factories are operating in good standard.

One of the people who has personally visited the factories is ShoeDazzle COO Deborah Benton .... who tells us "This issue of child labor is of paramount importance to us. We've been very focused on this from the very beginning."

She adds, "Factories are routinely inspected and always pass inspection."

Benton says the company has a full-time employee -- who graduated from UCLA -- who moved his family to China ... with the specific task of checking the factories on a daily basis. Benton says she's never received a report of "slave labor" conditions.

The Kardashians -- who make millions of bucks off of their fashion lines -- use "slave labor" and turn a blind eye to shocking working conditions ... this according to a news report.

A human rights group is investigating claims that workers in China -- as young as 16 -- are working in squalid conditions to manufacture merchandise for the K-Dash by Kardashian label, the Kris Jenner Kollection and ShoeDazzle, according to a Star Magazine investigation.

The institute for Global Labour and Human Rights confirms with TMZ ... they have launched an investigation, amidst claims the Kardashians' products are produced in factories reeking of stench from sewage, with temperatures north of 100 degrees. An official from the organization tells TMZ, conditions in the area are "horrific."

There are also claims the employees work up to 84 hours a week, earning $1 an hour. The Kardashians rake in approximately $65 million a year.

Kris Jenner tells TMZ ... the factories manufacture a number of products unrelated to Kardashian lines. Jenner adds, "As far as I know the factories that are used to manufacture the Kardashian clothing and shoes have nothing terrible going on at all and the factories are very well policed and meet factory standards." Kris says she has not visited the factories in China.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have already wreaked havoc in Dallas, by setting off a war among a number of high-end realtors who are vying for their business.

The displaced couple has been looking for a place to live, and rather than using just one realtor, they decided 6 would be 6 times better. Here's the problem ... the realtors claim Khloe and Lamar made each of them feel as if they were the only ones, and they're now fighting over who can lay claim to a commission.

And it gets even better, because cameras for their reality show have been following Khloe and Lamar around during their house hunt, with different realtors in tow. So the realtors not only think they'll score a commission, they're also dreaming of fame.

Apparently Khloe and Lamar have recognized their lapse of etiquette, and they've settled on just one realtor. What's more, we're told they just found a condo in the W Hotel. It's a 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 1800 square-foot pad. It's listed for lease at $7,500 a month.

Proving not all NBA marriages are in shambles, Khloe Kardashian played cheerleader by rooting for her hubby Lamar Odom in his first game with the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.

Odom was definitely impressive with his new team ... putting up 14 points and 7 rebounds in just 23 minutes.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have begun looking for a place to live in Dallas ... TMZ has learned ... but they aren't looking for anything too permanent just yet.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ Khloe flew out to Dallas yesterday to begin the process of looking for a place to live. According to our sources, the couple is only looking to sign a one-year lease because Lamar could only be a Dallas Maverick for this season.

We're told the couple is looking to rent, not buy, and would prefer a 3-bedroom in the $8-15,000/month range.

Lamar Odom's trade to the Mavericks could be a great thing for the Kardashian family business ... 'cause TMZ has learned the family is now hoping to open a DASH store in Dallas.

Sources close to the K-squad tell us ... the family is thrilled that Odom went to Dallas because they have several cousins that live out that way ... and the fam is familiar with the area since Kourtney went to college at SMU.

Khloe is currently in L.A. ... but plans to join up with her hubby in the next couple of days ... and we're told the entire family will head out to Big D to support the couple as soon they can.

As far as DASH is concerned, one source tells us the family is already researching possible store locations ... and they want to move quickly.

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian aren't going to Dallas alone ... camera crews from their E! reality shows will be going with 'em ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to "Khloe and Lamar" and "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" tell TMZ ... cameras will definitely follow Lamar's journey to the Dallas Mavericks ... and the move and their life in the Big D will be a plot line in both of the shows.

One well-connected source tells us, "Cameras will follow it all."

Kobe Bryant is blasting rumors that Lamar Odom was traded away from the Lakers because he got involved with the Kardashian reality show empire ... saying, "[Odom] had his best season last season ... clearly it wasn't a distraction."

Kobe spoke with reporters yesterday ... and ripped the organization for dealing Lamar to the Dallas Mavericks ... saying, "I don't like it ... to be honest with you, I don't like it."

Bryant was then asked if the Lakers had become fed up with Lamar's extracurricular camera whoring -- to which Kobe shot back, "You're talking about the Sixth Man of the Year last year ... he played lights out. I don't understand the criticism of reality shows and this, that and the other."

So much for all that extra security -- Kim Kardashian's buddy and "Spin Crowd" star Jonathan Cheban was attacked by a rogue Kris Humphries supporter in NYC yesterday ... taking a flour bomb to the face.

TMZ broke the story ... Cheban had been receiving threats ever since he announced plans to sue Kris Humphries -- claiming the NBA star called him "gay" on TV.

Cheban beefed up his security to ward off any potential threats during an event yesterday at Kim's NYC store -- but clearly, it wasn't effective.

Sources tell us, there was no mistaking the attacker's motivation -- before launching his powder assault, the flour phantom yelled, "This is for Kris Humphries!" Police were unable to locate the culprit.

Kardashian pal and “Spin Crowd” star Jonathan Cheban is freaking out ... claiming some pissed-off Kris Humphries fanatics want to hurt him -- and now, he's beefing up his security.

See, Cheban threatened to sue Kris for $5 million recently -- after the basketball star called him "gay" on TV -- and the whole lawsuit thing didn't sit so well some hotheaded Humphries supporters.

Among the threats Cheban received on Twitter ... “Comin to spit on you tomorrow at Dash store ... you and Kim are full of crap and trying to ruin Kris's life.”

Sources close to Jonathan tell TMZ ... he's so freaked ... he hired a bunch of extra security for an appearance he’s making at Kim's store today in NYC to promote his jewelry line.

Cheban insists he's "not gay."

Kris Humphries is telling people he felt ambushed by "Good Morning America" this morning -- claiming he was put under the impression the interview was NOT going to focus on his split from Kim Kardashian ... but "GMA" is calling BS.

Sources close to Kris tell TMZ ... the NBA player claims he knew he would be asked about the divorce during the sit-down ... but he didn't expect to be grilled like a cheeseburger.

During the interview, Kris appears VERY uncomfortable as he's hit with question after question about Kim ... and things got downright awkward when interviewer Josh Elliot asked Kris' mother about the relationship.

We're told Kris is saying ... he only agreed to do the interview to promote his charity work and to support his mother's cooking segment on the show ... and he's livid about the way it turned out.

Khloe Kardashian is already preparing herself in case Lamar Odom gets traded out of Los Angeles ... and a source close to the family tells TMZ she's open to moving out of L.A. to be with her hubby.

Odom was supposed to be involved in a blockbuster trade for Chris Paul ... but the deal fell through late Thursday night. Still, there's still a chance L.O. could still be headed out of L.A. sometime soon.

We're told Khloe would follow Lamar anywhere ... but she would feel especially comfortable in New Orleans because the family spent TONS of time there when Kim was dating former Saints running back Reggie Bush ... and she already has a bunch of friends who live in town.

All Kardashian women may not be created equal ... but one of the biggest nail polish companies on the planet is sure paying them like they are ... and get this -- even the half-sisters are raking in BIG MONEY.

TMZ has learned ... all 6 K-ladies (Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall) inked a deal with OPI back in March to become spokeswomen for a Kardashian line of nail polish ... featuring colors like:

Sealed with a Kris -- an intense dark red tone
Kim-pletely In Love – a soft, delicate pale pink hue
Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam – an eye-catching dark emerald hue
Listen to Your Momager! – a striking deep blue tone

According to the contract, obtained by TMZ, the family was guaranteed $600,000 up front -- plus a cut of the nail polish profits.

Here's the thing ... the documents show the money is being divided EQUALLY between all of the women -- that's $100k-per-gal for all you math wizards out there.

Shocking considering Kim is in her own stratosphere when it comes to star-power ... then again, they say charity starts in the home.

The Kardashian Klan only has eyes for themselves ... and that's why the family is threatening to take legal action against a woman who wants to use the family name to sell an eyelash-elongation product.

The product is called KardashianLash (a kind of eyelash-growing make-up thing) and the person behind the company -- named Sarah Ehrlich -- just filed a petition to trademark the name.

We spoke to Ms. Ehrlich -- who tells us, she wanted KardashianLash to help raise money to send Honduran orphans to cosmetology school (a worthy cause) ... and she didn't think the K's would mind.

Kris Humphries will not get any money by fighting Kim Kardashian's attempt to divorce him -- but if he really wants to fight, there is something he can do to try and score millions from KK.

Sources directly connected with both Kris and Kim tell TMZ ... there is no point in challenging the prenup -- it's iron-clad and both sides know it. Fact is, if Kris gets his way and has the marriage annulled based on fraud, that would mean there was never a marriage and as a result he would have NO CLAIM to any of Kim's earnings during their 72 days of bliss because no marriage would have existed.

We've poked around and asked some experts what Kris might be able to do to score some cash, if he really wanted to do that. The only plausible scenario is if Kris files a claim against Kim for intentional infliction of emotional distress based on fraud. If he could prove Kim used him as a disposable groom for her reality show -- he could get monetary damages.

So, you ask, what would his monetary damages be? Well how 'bout this? If Kris sucks during the lockout shortened BBall season and gets cut from the Nets -- which is a possibility -- he could blame the distractions on his disastrous marriage and try to sock Kim for the money he'd be out. Kris pulls in $3.2 mil a year.

Khloe Kardashian is being sued by a transgender woman who claims Khloe beat the crap out of her outside a Hollywood nightclub.

Chantal Spears -- also know as Ronald Spears -- claims on December 5, 2009, Khloe violently struck her "in and about her body," causing serious injuries.

TMZ broke the story ... the incident occurred outside Playhouse nightclub on Hollywood Blvd., after Chantal/Ronald allegedly walked up to Lamar and told him he was "too young to be married."

Chantal/Ronald told cops at the time, Khloe "pushed and hit me." No one was arrested or cited.

Chantal/Ronald says in her lawsuit she did not provoke anyone.

She's asking for unspecified damages.

No comment so far from Khloe.
