Kim Kardashian is trying out a new lighter look ... but it's not the first time she's gone blonde!

The reality star -- who's typically known for her silky black hair -- hopped on Instagram Friday and posted a pic of herself with her new blond 'do and dark roots.

Kim capped it off with a lock of hair draped in front of her smooth face and puckered lips. She also attached a hair clip to her blonde strands at her forehead.

Kris Jenner is launching a new production company ... and interestingly, she's keeping "Kardashian" out of the name.

Here's the deal ... in a new trademark filing -- obtained by TMZ -- Kris' company Jenner Communications Inc. has filed for a new mark ... Kris Jenner Productions.

It seems Kris could have some new television shows in the works ... the trademark covers producing and developing TV programming, creating content for the internet, and other entertainment services tied to pop culture.

Kim and Khloe Kardashian are stepping in on a real-life mystery -- TMZ has learned they called Amy Bradley’s family to help track her down.

Sources tell TMZ Kim and Khloe personally called Amy’s mom, Iva, last Thursday -- chatting for about an hour as Iva filled them in on the case and where things stand now.

She added she hopes this incident makes "other mommies aware of the dangers of certain types of boating without a life vest."

Kourtney Kardashian is in some rough waters with fans after she posted a snap of her 21-month-old son Rocky Thirteen on a boat without a life vest.

Check out the pic ... she's lounging on the back of the vessel with her little one cuddled up in her lap. It's a sweet pic -- but fans can't help but notice Rocky's got no flotation device on all while the boat is in motion!
