American actress and singer Simbi Khali was in her mid-20s when she first started playing Nina -- the level-headed and sarcastic earthling ... and Dick and Mary's administrative assistant -- in the '90s sci-fi comedy "3rd Rock From the Sun."

Simbi was part of an ensemble cast including Kristen Johnston as the fierce and independent lieutenant and security officer, Sally, French Stewart as the silly transmitter aiming to gain respect from his teammates, Harry and John Lithgow as the obnoxious physics professor at Pendelton State University, Dick.

PETA tells TMZ ... the org is threatening to send McBride fake monkey poop after spotting what they claim is a real capuchin monkey in the show's trailer.

PETA claims they have been firing off emails to McBride's reps and HBO execs demanding primates be left out of the show, and a commitment to never using wild animals in productions again ... but haven't heard back.

Quinta Brunson is calling it quits with her husband Kevin Anik after three and a half years of marriage, TMZ has learned.

Quinta -- the Emmy-winning creator of the popular TV series "Abbott Elementary," which she also co-writes and stars in -- filed for divorce from Anik in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.

TMZ obtained the docs ... Brunson says the estranged couple has a postnuptial agreement, and she's asking the court to divvy up the property according to that agreement.

Political consultant Rick Wilson is brushing off right-wing outrage over the "Kill Tesla, Save the Country" photo he shared online, saying the reaction is just manufactured "moral panic" ... especially since they didn't bother to get context from his linked Substack piece.

His article, he explains on "TMZ Live" Thursday, outlines a political strategy to put financial and social pressure on Elon Musk by targeting Tesla’s stock -- completely peacefully -- in an effort to "stop the destruction that he's causing with DOGE."

Wilson argues Tesla was already struggling before he published his article, with outdated models, overpriced cars, and a failing reputation ... suggesting Musk should focus on fixing his company -- which just today saw the recall of nearly all its Cybertrucks -- rather than throwing a fit over an article.

'Family Feud' Former Contestant Charged With Child Sexual Abuse

Christopher Crisona -- a contestant on "Family Feud" during Steve Harvey's very first season as host -- has been arrested and charged with child sexual abuse ... TMZ has learned.

Crisona and another man -- Father John Taggart -- have been arrested and charged with several felonies connected to alleged abuse at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Wilmington,  Delaware.

The Delaware Attorney General's Office says Crisona was a teacher at the school for a year and a half back in the mid-1990s before he was removed from his post following a student complaint. Taggart, now 80, is accused of abusing the same individual as the 57-year-old Crisona. The victim was in their 7th and 8th grade years at the school, according to the AG.

Jufko broke down the unexpected scenario for us this week ... saying a stadium staffer was going about her job when, all of a sudden, she went into labor.

Jufko -- who has 17 years of experience in the NFL and MLB -- explained he got the call in the command center ... and everyone immediately sprang into action to help deliver the baby.
