The wife of Dr. H from "Biggest Loser" is dropping some serious weight -- as in her own husband -- she's filing for legal separation after almost 33 YEARS of marriage.
Wanda Huizenga filed the papers in L.A. County Superior Court against the good doc -- real name Robert Huizenga -- citing "irreconcilable differences."
The couple was married in August 1979 and split in May this year. They have no minor children.
Wanda wants spousal support. Calls to Dr. H were not returned.
"Biggest Loser" contestant Joe Messina's recent nuptials violated the one cardinal rule of weddings everywhere -- GET EVERYONE WASTED -- because booze was NOT allowed at the party.
TMZ broke the story ... the former Season 13 contestanttied the knot recently in Michigan -- and 12 other current and former contestants attended -- but the wedding party lacked a key ingredient .... alcohol.
Sources tell us ... the groom and his "Loser" guests are serious as a heart attack when it comes to their new healthy lifestyle -- so they axed all forms of alcohol from the menu (alcoholic drinks contain a lot of calories). Thankfully, we're told the crowd -- which was pretty religious -- didn't drink much anyway.
But Joe's reign of terror didn't end there -- we're told he also subbed a real wedding cake for low-fat pumpkin cake pops ... and served only food from the "Biggest Loser Cookbook" ... such as:
-- Grilled Chicken with Mango, Thai Quinoa Salad -- Tossed Salad -- Fresh Fruit Salad -- Asian Chopped Salad -- Salad Salad
And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse ... we're told the guests actually WORKED OUT before the ceremony.
Who said losers can't find love -- TMZ has learned, recent "Biggest Loser" quitter Joe Messina tied the knot earlier this month ... and not only did the entire cast attend ... a former contestant actually officiated!
Sources tell TMZ, the small ceremony took place outside on April 14th at a Michigan park -- only a select number of friends and family were invited ... but the tight list included 12 current and former contestants from Season 13 of "Biggest Loser."
Among the "Biggest Loser" attendees -- Buddy and Mark, who famously walked off the show in protest back in February ... and BL finalists Conda and Jeremy.
We're told Buddy officiated the ceremony, Mark said a prayer, and former contestant Gayle made the flowers. All the food at the reception was made using recipes from the "Biggest Loser" cookbook.
If you don't remember Joe, it's probably because the 38-year-old truck driver walked off the show in January because he missed his then-fiancee Anita. The walk-off was unrelated to the mass protesta month later.
The "Biggest Loser" has trimmed some serious fat ... TMZ has learned TWO of the contestants who walked off the set this week have been cut loose for good ... and the show will continue without them.
TMZ has obtained photos taken today at the "Loser" ranch ... where production has resumed following a mass mutiny this week. TMZ broke the story ... several competitors stormed off the show in protest after getting word about a possible game "twist" that would give previously eliminated losers a shot at the $250k prize.
Sources connected to the show tell us ... producers are considering using the mutiny as a story point.
NBC is still refusing to comment on the situation.
The oldest person ever to compete on "Biggest Loser" has some wise words for the contestants currently on strike -- the weight loss show is NOT about the prize money ... it's about saving your life.
TMZ broke the story ... nearly all of the remaining contestants on the current season have walked off the show and are threatening to quit -- after learning that producers were considering bringing back previous contestants to compete for the $250,000 grand prize.
The contestants are striking because they feel it's unfair to bring back old contestants -- which would hurt their chances at winning the money.
But 66-year-old John Forger (above) -- who competed on Season 12 -- tells TMZ, "It's not about [money]. What it's really about, for most of us, is the change in our lifestyle, and being able to get rid of obesity."
John adds, "For most of us, it's about health. Would I walk off the show for the money? ABSOLUTELY NOT."
John was eliminated in the second week of Season 12 -- but he tells us, he has no regrets ... losing 97 pounds while he was on the show, and an additional 15 afterwards.
Fear not "The Biggest Loser" fans, the contestants' threat to quit mid-season will not derail the show -- IF producers adopt one TMZ staffer's plan to lay down the law ... and drop a ton of LBs.

There's a big, fat problem on the set of "TheBiggest Loser" -- TMZ has learned nearly all of the remaining contestants have walked off the show and are threatening to quit after learning about a secret "twist" that could seriously affect their shot at the $250,000 grand prize.
Multiple sources connected with the show tell us ... the mutiny took place this week ... when the losers got word that producers were considering bringing back previous contestants to compete for the grand prize.
We're told most of the current contestants were pissed -- feeling it was unfair that prior losers would get a second bite at the apple ... so they banded together and decided to protest by walking off the show in the middle of shooting an episode.
Sources tell us ... show honchos have shut down production for at least a week while they figure out how to handle the situation.
Most people sign up for some spin classes ... but "Biggest Loser" host Alison Sweeney is taking that 26.2 steps further for her New Year's resolution -- telling TMZ, she plans to run the L.A. Marathon this year.
She's got 76 days left to get ready -- the marathon is scheduled for March 18 -- but Alison tells us, she already got a head start ... beginning her training two months ago.
Sweeney says she plans to hit the pavement with several "Biggest Loser" alums on the big day. Now that's commitment.
"Biggest Loser" competitor Sam Poueu -- who was listed in critical condition after falling several stories from a fire escape this month -- is making some serious progress in his recovery and has been upgraded to stable, TMZ has learned.
We're told doctors are still wary because Sam's status could change at any moment -- but overall, everyone's excited by his progress.
As we previously reported, Sam was celebrating a friend's birthday when he accidentally locked himself on the roof -- and fell several stories while trying to climb down a fire escape.
Sam suffered a pelvic injury, torn ligaments, a punctured lung, and a broken leg during the accident.
"Biggest Loser" contestant Sam Poueu made "a really loud crash" when he fell from a building earlier this month ...this according to the woman who saw him lying on the ground and called 911.
As TMZ first reported, Poueu was hospitalized on September 3 with a pelvic injury, torn ligaments, a punctured lung, and a broken leg. His fiancée later explained he fell from a fire escape after he was accidentally locked out on the roof of a friend's apartment.
The "Biggest Loser" contestant who was seriously injured after he plummeted several stories from a building last week was trying to climb down a fire escape when he slipped and fell ... this according to his fiancee.
TMZ broke the story, Season 9 competitor Sam Poueu was listed in critical condition after the Sept. 3 incident ... and now fiancee Stephanie Anderson told People.com the whole thing happened because he got locked out on the roof of his friend's apartment.
It all went down in San Francisco, as Poueu was celebrating a friend's birthday -- when he went up to the roof by himself and the door locked behind him.
Anderson says Poueu "attempted to climb down the fire escape ladder to drop down into the fourth floor balcony and slipped."
As we first reported, Poueu suffered a pelvic injury, torn ligaments, a punctured lung, and a broken leg during the accident ... but Anderson says he's making "positive and encouraging strides" in his recovery ... adding, "To date, many of his internal injuries are on the healing mend."
