Machine Gun Kelly and Stephan Jenkins met at an emo rock night in L.A. before the artist sampled his track ... which is a big deal, 'cause SJ has turned down others before.

We caught up with the Third Eye Blind frontman Wednesday and asked him about how he and MGK linked up ... 'cause Kelly recently sampled the song "Semi-Charmed Life" for his new track "Starman."

Stephan says he and Machine Gun Kelly met at an Emo Nite event last year -- a roving showcase where fans of the genre gather at different venues to hear DJs, or celebs like Jenkins, play some of their favorite songs in the emo genre.

The wife of former Maroon 5 bassist Mickey Madden is pulling the plug on their marriage, because she just filed for divorce ... and the filing comes on the heels of her alleging he beat the crap out of her after she says she discovered he was sexting teenagers about a rape fantasy.

Kate Bowman beelined it to court Wednesday and filed to divorce Mickey after only 3 months of marriage ... according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ.

She does not list a date of separation and is going with the usual "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. She's seeking spousal support and checked the box to terminate the court's ability to award Mickey spousal support. They did not have any kids, so no child custody or support to hash out here.

Lorna Raver -- best known as the creepy old woman who cursed Alison Lohman in Sam Raimi's horror hit "Drag Me to Hell" -- has died.

Raver died on May 12 ... her death was announced in the "In Memoriam" section of SAG-AFTRA's Summer 2025 magazine.

Her loving agent Michael Greene remembers her as a "beautiful lady" who will shine down on all from Heaven.

Greene also reflected on her iconic role in "Drag Me to Hell" ... telling TMZ Raver was up for the part alongside his other client, Anna Berger. He says Raver ended up landing the role because she was able to fly around in the harness needed for special effects with ease.

Sean "Diddy" Combs is not going home to his family for at least another 7 weeks ... so, they're going to him.

The Bad Boy founder's family dropped by to see him Tuesday at MDC Brooklyn, where Diddy is being held until his October 3 sentencing.

According to his obituary ... Blackstock was living with Brittney Marie Jones in Montana -- a "loving partner" who was with him until his untimely death. A source with knowledge confirmed to TMZ ... Brittney was a production assistant for Kelly from 2016 to 2020.

According to her LinkedIn she was then Blackstock's executive assistant while he was the artist manager of Starstruck Entertainment -- before he rebranded the company to V Bar V Cattle Co., after the couple's divorce.

TMZ reported last week Brandon sadly lost his battle with melanoma, after a three-and-a-half-year fight, at just 48.

KISS will get their flowers at the upcoming Kennedy Center Honors ... and, the band members couldn't be more grateful for the accolade.
