Law enforcement in Delaware tells us Bill is the one who picked up the phone and dialed 911 on Sunday night and was waiting at his Oak Hill home when responding officers arrived.

As we reported ... cops found Bill's wife, 64-year-old Linda Stevenson, unresponsive in the living room and tried life-saving measures before pronouncing her dead at the scene. Dispatch audio from the incident mentions "cardiac arrest."

Stefon Diggs' former personal chef claims the Patriots star slapped her and tried to choke her out over a salary dispute ... with the bombshell allegations being laid out in a newly released incident report.

According to the narrative, the female employee first went to police on Dec. 16 and stated she was working as a private chef on Dec. 2 when Diggs entered her unlocked bedroom to discuss an ongoing text exchange between the two over money she believed she was owed.

The woman claims during the conversation, Diggs became angry and smacked her across the face. She said she attempted to push him away, but he then "tried to choke her using the crook of his elbow around her neck."

She claims Diggs was behind her with his arm wrapped around her ... and she felt like she had trouble breathing and "could have blacked out" -- when she tried to pry herself away, she claims Diggs tightened his grip.

Beloved actor Isiah Whitlock Jr. -- perhaps best known for his catchphrase "Sheeeeeit..." from "The Wire" -- has died ... TMZ has confirmed.

The Hollywood veteran passed away peacefully Tuesday in New York following a short illness, his manager Brian Liebman tells us. Deadline was first to report his death.

Whitlock starred as corrupt Senator R. Clayton Davis on "The Wire" and had recurring roles on "Veep," "Your Honor," and "Atlanta."

Whitlock collaborated with Spike Lee on several film projects, including "25th Hour" -- where he originated his signature phrase -- "BlacKkKlansman," "Da 5 Bloods," and "Chi-Raq."

Sean Astin is stepping in to help 'Ned’s Declassified' alum Tylor Chase ... according to one of his former costars.

Daniel Curtis Lee, who’s recently spent time with Tylor -- even covering a temporary hotel stay for him -- tells TMZ ... shortly after seeing him, someone assisting Tylor reached out, and told him Sean Astin wanted to meet Tylor.

According to Daniel, Sean -- a major hero to Tylor, who’s a huge "Lord of the Rings" fan -- hoped the meeting might help convince Tylor to get off the streets.

On Christmas Day, Daniel spoke with Tylor over FaceTime, during which Tylor reflected on his experience meeting Sean ... and by the sound of it, it was a positive one. Worth mentioning, Sean is the current president of the Screen Actors Guild.

Discovery Channel star Chad Ollinger told cops in Nevada he strangled his cellmate and then smashed the guy's face into a metal post ... all because he had the feeling the guy was a pedophile.

According to the arrest report, obtained by TMZ, authorities interviewed the TV star ... and say Ollinger told them he had the supernatural power to read people and know things about them.

In the docs, cops say Ollinger confessed to murdering Christopher Kelly, his cellmate at Clark County Detention Center, and told them the killing was "righteous" due to Kelly being a pedophile.

Journalist and author Tatiana Schlossberg has died.

Schlossberg wrote for publications such as the New York Times, The Atlantic, The Washington Post and Vanity Fair. She was the granddaughter of former President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and the daughter of Caroline Kennedy.

The JFK Library Foundation confirmed her passing Tuesday in an Instagram post, writing, "Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts."

The "Inconspicuous Consumption" author was reportedly diagnosed with leukemia in May 2024.

New England Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs has a lot more than the playoffs to worry about -- the NFL star is facing strangulation and assault charges in connection to an alleged incident earlier this month ... but he is denying any wrongdoing.

Diggs has been charged with felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery stemming from an altercation in Dedham, Massachusetts on Dec. 2.

The Patriots beat the New York Giants on "Monday Night Football" a day prior on Dec. 1. Diggs had three catches for 26 yards in the 33-15 win.

Elon Musk's recent X post reacting to an American teenager who was facing deportation from Denmark certainly appeared inappropriate to some people … including the teen herself, who wasn't thrilled to be reduced to a number.

Audrey Morris -- the Los Angeles teen who's since resolved her Denmark deportation issue -- stopped by "TMZ Live" Tuesday to unleash on the 54-year-old tech mogul publicly commenting on her looks.

ICYMI ... Audrey had been facing deportation from Denmark after her temporary permit expired -- the 19-year-old had lived there with her mom since she was 9 -- and after seeing her picture, Elon posted, "8 or above level hotness should get an exemption."

Needless to say ... the creepy compliment rubbed Audrey the wrong way. She told us the comment was demeaning to say the least.
