A grandmother in Georgia is facing manslaughter and cruelty to children charges after her 2-year-old grandson drowned in a pool, police said.

Emelisa Paz-Santos was booked Wednesday in the Fulton County Jail on those two charges, while Immigration Customs Enforcement also put a detainer on her, according to official online records.

Roswell PD says 2-year-old Axel Delgado drowned in a clubhouse pool on the night of June 21. Police also say first responders raced to the scene and performed live-saving measures before transporting the child to a hospital where he died.

An obnoxious Blue Angels flyover at a Florida beach resulted in a dangerous mess for onlookers ... and video from the moment is insane.

The incident happened Wednesday morning during "Breakfast with the Blues" at Pensacola Beach ... and it scared the hell out of beachgoers as tents, chairs, and umbrellas went flying from the force of the jet engines when the area was buzzed.

Reactions to the moment were split ... some witnesses said it was awesome -- others on social media pointed out the situation was really dangerous with all this stuff flung around the busy area.

It seems the Navy also thinks the flyover was questionable ... and is reportedly investigating.

Nicki Minaj wants out of a $275K lawsuit filed against her, and she's asking a judge to toss it ASAP ... TMZ has learned.

In court docs obtained by TMZ, Nicki argues she has nothing to do with the money allegedly owed to 24/7 Productions ... at least on a personal level. Nicki says the only contract at issue in the lawsuit is one allegedly between the production company that filed the suit and her company, Pink Friday Productions LLC.

Nicki says it's basic law that an individual member of a company isn't responsible for the debts of the company ... so he's asking the judge to dismiss the case against her and wants 24/7 to fork over her attorney's fees she spent fighting the lawsuit!

A new judge has been assigned to oversee the ongoing proceedings in Karmelo Anthony's murder case ... as the convicted murderer's new lawyer calls foul on his trial judge.

The new judge, Sid L. Harle, was assigned to Karmelo's case Tuesday, per court records obtained by WFAA. Harle will preside over Karmelo's motion to recuse trial Judge John Roach from handling post-trial proceedings.

Karmelo's new attorney, Russell Wilson, is blasting the trial judge ... claiming Roach made comments following Karmelo's conviction that showed he could not be fair and unbiased.

Wilson also claims "gentleman's agreements" made between attorneys about what testimony would be admissible weren't completely followed, and that impacted Karmelo's decision not to testify and therefore impacted the outcome of the trial.

The Norwegian soccer superstar got wind of Spider-Man talking about the failed hangout attempt on the "Tonight Show" earlier this week ... and there's a happy ending here, 'cause Haaland's down!!

His manager, Zna Portlock Houston, tells TMZ ... Hal died from natural causes Wednesday morning at his home in Rancho Mirage, CA, noting that he had some health issues.

Houston said Hal felt tired upon his return two days ago from Ohio, where he attended a reunion celebrating "Sanford and Son" with former castmate, Howard Platt, who played Officer Howard "Hoppy" Hopkins.
