President Trump came to the FIFA World Cup Final expecting to help hand out the gold hardware ... but fans first handed him a red-card reception.

POTUS was met with a chorus of boos Sunday when his face flashed across the stadium screens moments after Jennifer Hudson performed the national anthem ahead of Spain and Argentina’s championship clash.

A BBC commentator was anything but "Happy" with his celebrity identification skills during the World Cup Final ... mistaking Pharrell for A$AP Rocky -- and somehow bungling Rocky's name in the process.

The hilarious flub came about 15 minutes into Sunday's showdown between Spain and Argentina ... when cameras cut to Pharrell sitting in the stands at MetLife Stadium.

BBC play-by-play man Guy Mowbray took a crack at identifying him, saying ... "I think that is AKA Rocky" ... before quickly correcting himself, "Or A$AP Rocky, sorry."

Yeah ... closer on the name, still miles off on the man. Rocky was seated alongside baby mama Rihanna while rapper Future and New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson also were in the same suite.

Lady Gaga was in celebration mode this weekend ... 'cause TMZ has learned she and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, stepped out for date night at the wedding of her longtime manager and close friend, Bobby Campbell, and his husband.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Gaga and Polansky attended the Saturday night ceremony at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles, where Campbell and Robert García tied the knot surrounded by family and friends.

We're told Gaga kept a low profile throughout the evening, blending in with the rest of the guests instead of stealing the spotlight. And despite her superstar status, our sources say she did not perform during the reception.

The couple announced Sunday their baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born earlier in the morning ... saying both mom and Alec are happy and healthy, while their three older children are "overjoyed" to meet their new brother.

Jeana Keough is facing the fight of her life ... the former 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star has been diagnosed with tongue cancer.

The heartbreaking news was shared by her daughter, Kara Keough Bosworth, who revealed Jeana initially thought a painful sore on her tongue was caused by a tooth rubbing against it. But after months of discomfort, a biopsy confirmed she has squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue.

Kara says Jeana has already undergone two surgeries one to remove the tumor and another to remove lymph nodes but doctors later discovered the cancer had spread. She's now in her fifth week of chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy.
