Trump took the stage at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa on Wednesday with his signature blond locks looking noticeably fuller than usual -- and it didn't take long for toupee speculation to start flying online.

The timing only fueled the chatter ... 'cause just three days earlier, strong winds whipped Trump's hair around as he boarded Air Force One in New Jersey -- exposing much more of his scalp.

Minnie Driver says she's "grateful to be alive" after getting in a "really bad" car accident in France a few days ago ... and it looks like the crash put her in a neck brace.

The actress says she and her friend, Ben Homewood, were driving through the French countryside when another car blew through an intersection without stopping, T-boning their car.

Minnie says the crash was so bad that they barely got out, explaining ... "Well, we didn't walk out of it. We crawled out of it."

She continued ... "I'm really in shock and sort of cry all the time, but I'm going to heal."

As Sandra addressed the crowd, her little boy wandered toward the edge of the stage ... prompting Trump to hustle after him and steer him back before cracking ... "I don't want him to be Biden and fall off the stage!"
