Fitness influencer Goob is asking for privacy after his supposed arrest ... but there's just one problem ... the whole thing was staged, TMZ has learned.

A spokesperson for the Suffolk County Police Department tells TMZ the arrest wasn't real ... explaining, "It was part of filming social media posts advertising a charity food giveaway that is taking place later this month."

Here's how the whole thing unfolded ... another fitness influencer, Joey Swoll, posted a video Monday showing Goob, whose real name is John Dorsey, apparently being taken into custody by police.

Chris Rock is diving into his faults as a husband ... namely, an overreliance on porn ... admitting he used to watch it all the time to the detriment of his marriage.

The comedian discussed the taboo subject during his interview for GQ's Men of the Year issue ... pulling back the curtain on his marriage to Malaak Compton-Rock -- which ended back in 2016.

Chris said, "I was not a great husband. I watched a lot of porn. I don't watch porn anymore. I haven't watched porn in five, six years.”

The man charged with murdering Christina Downer, the sister of "Saturday Night Live" writer Jimmy Fowlie, has a criminal history dating back more than 20 years ... including past charges involving theft, trespassing, and drug paraphernalia.

TMZ has obtained court documents showing Delorean Bijon Brandon faced several misdemeanor charges in Los Angeles between 2004 and 2006 ... and his legal troubles didn't end there.

According to the docs ... Brandon was charged with grand theft in 2004, and court records show he was later placed on probation. In May 2005, a judge ordered him to complete 240 hours of community service and pay a fine.

Kim Kardashian says she's biding her time before attempting the bar exam again ... but it's always on her mind.

The billionaire told PEOPLE at the NYC premiere of "All's Fair" season 2 that she hasn't given up on becoming an attorney ... even though she didn't pass the bar last year when she took the test.

11:42 AM PT .... A rep for the US Marshals Service tells TMZ ... Morley had been hiding out in a farm area in Marion, Illinois, where he allegedly stole a truck and some firearms. The Marshals received a report of the stolen vehicle and started looking for the truck, spotting it with different plates outside Kansas City, Missouri on Tuesday morning. The Marshals followed the vehicle using camera systems along the roads and highways. The truck finally came to a stop in a rural area, where it got stuck in the mud. Authorities quickly moved in and took Morley into custody.

Jacob Allen Morley -- the Tennessee murderer who escaped prison last month -- is back in custody ... the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced Tuesday.

The TBI says Morley was taken into custody near Kansas City, Missouri. Photos show him with glasses and a full beard ... and he looks slightly different than his mug shot.

Morley escaped prison in Tiptonville, TN, near Memphis on October 25 ... and was later spotted on camera apparently stealing a truck. The vehicle was later found abandoned in Illinois.

Erin Benavides -- the woman connected to the Tony Parker/Eva Longoria cheating scandal -- died by self-inflicted gunshot wound ... TMZ has confirmed.

The M.E. noted the full autopsy report won't be released for about a week.

As we reported ... Erin was found dead in her Texas home last month after police performed a welfare check prompted by an alarming text she sent to a friend of her husband.

Christina Applegate admitted she's been having a bit of an identity crisis since learning she doesn't actually have multiple sclerosis.

Milania Giudice's late best friend Victoria Zardoya had ketamine in her system before she died following a devastating fall in Florida ... TMZ has learned.

According to the medical examiner's report, obtained by TMZ, the 20-year-old's blood tested positive for ketamine and norketamine -- a substance produced when the body breaks down the drug.

Her toxicology results also showed alcohol and etomidate, a medication used for sedation. The Sun was the first to report the news.

Kim Zolciak's son KJ Biermann is challenging prosecutors to show their cards ... with his attorneys questioning the alleged force and physical injuries at the center of his sexual assault case.

The 15-year-old's attorney, Jason Sheffield, is fighting all seven felony charges against KJ ... arguing prosecutors haven't provided enough details to back up key elements of their case, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.

Specifically, Sheffield argues the aggravated child molestation charge doesn't spell out what physical injury was allegedly caused ... while the aggravated sexual battery and sodomy charges fail to adequately explain how force was allegedly used.

Paris Jackson says her dad's estate still hasn't fully funded the family trust ... and she wants a judge to order them to put her late father's money into the fund and distribute it as his will demands. The estate claims it can't fund the trust until issues with the IRS are resolved.

Michael Jackson's only daughter filed legal documents last week claiming the estate hasn't fully funded the trust ... even though MJ died back in 2009.

She says her father intended for his beneficiaries -- namely her, Prince and Bigi -- to begin receiving income from the trust when they turned 21 and principal distributions starting at age 30. Paris says there is at least $600 million in distributable cash available for the trust.

Savannah Chrisley is asking a judge to intervene in her court battle over her younger brother Grayson Chrisley's 2022 car crash ... TMZ has learned.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Savannah opposes the request that she turn over documents related to her being appointed guardian of Grayson before her parents, Todd and Julie, checked into prison.

The discovery request came from Patrick Rykwalder, the man suing Grayson for allegedly being negligent when he crashed into Patrick's car with his pickup truck.
