Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is taking Eddie Murphy to court to prove he is the father of her newborn daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown. When one paternity suit case closes, another one opens!

Brown tells People magazine that Murphy won't take a DNA test or sign the birth certificate, "so it's going to have to go to court so he can be forced to do it, which is strange since he was the one asking for it." Murphy questioned the paternity on a Dutch television program last year.

Mel B. says Eddie has yet to lay eyes on Angel, adding, "My people have contacted his people and they just had no response to anything." Murphy's rep told People: "We do not comment on Mr. Murphy's personal life." His actions speak for themselves!

So proclaimed Rosie herself in her blog late last night. After yesterday's show, in which she and Hasselbeck traded heated words on their favorite verbal battleground -- the war in Iraq -- Rosie decided to back down, especially with Elisabeth three months pregnant. Or, as she put it, in her free-verse style:

Today, unavoidably, the discussion turned to President Bush and Iraq, and Rosie's restraint was evident -- she just changed the topic. We'll see how long the pseudo-haiku-inspiring truce holds.

TMZ has learned the gorgeous "B.A.P.S" star spent an hour perusing the shop's racks and charged up over $1000 last week on tons of items for a baby girl. Included in the Oscar winner's retail blitz: Pink organic foot pajamas, a kimono tee made from soybean fibers, a plush butterfly backpack and an essential Swarovski crystal-encrusted hotlips accessory. Baby got bling!

While "Catwoman" made no mention of an impending kitty, who wouldn't want to see Halle and her hunky model boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey procreate! You can't buy those designer genes!

The only picture we've been able to dig up is reportedly a shot of Jayden, dressed in disguise as a little girl. We can't even verify if that's really him.

It's a whole other Oprah with Britney's oldest, Sean Preston. He's been seen here and there since his birth back in September of 2005.

There are rumors that the divorce settlement between Britney and K-Fed require them not to expose Jayden in public for the prying paparazzi eyes. We've confirmed that is NOT the case.

Scary Spice has "no doubt" that her newborn dreamgirl, Angel Iris, is Eddie Murphy's baby!

Melanie B. tells OK! magazine that she has no problem with the "Daddy Day Care" star taking a DNA test -- and wants him to "step up to the plate and be responsible." Murphy has publicly questioned the paternity of the golden child.

The former Spice Girl says she and Eddie were "madly in love" and that she was blindsided by their breakup -- which Melanie found out from a friend! As far as feeling embarrassed for being dumped so publicly, Melanie says, "I don't feel humiliated, I think the only person who has humiliated themselves is Eddie." Now why did she have to go and bring up "Norbit?!"

If her claims are true, Eddie's behavior towards Melanie seems especially troubling, considering what a Good Samaritan the Oscar-nominated star usually is. In 1997, Murphy famously helped his fellow man by giving a ride to a transsexual prostitute.

Dear Larry:

As the court appearance that will change your life approaches, I am stepping into my role as a celebrity-by-association to share some experiences with you.

1) The hair, Larry: Most of the time, your hair looks great, and I'm sure you spend a lot of time getting it right. Just be warned that you might look good every day for a month. But the one day you leave in a hurry and don't pay enough attention, or you get a little wild with an untested new style -- photos will be taken that will haunt you forever.

2) Fans/autograph seekers: Hollywood lives in fear of being yesterday's celebrity and ending up with an autograph languishing on eBay for days with no bids. If people want many copies, if they don't want you to personalize it, and/or they ask for Anna Nicole's name as part of your signature, nicely decline. If you slip and do see your autograph on sale, have a good friend bid more than 99 cents to buy it.

3) The lawyers: You've already found out that you have turned from man to cash machine. Lawyers aren't the only ones who will see you that way, especially if you are Dannielynn's biological father. The good news is that someone who presents you with a bill for $620,492.84 must think you have a good case. The bad news is that you will need more lawyers to fight the legal bills. My advice: Negotiate in advance, and put in a clause against expenses for lawyers, spouses, meals or laundry.

I wish you success in court on Tuesday, but beware: There's never enough preparation for "celebrity." I'll never get used to tour buses and cameras outside my house every day, reporters analyzing my grocery choices, and bloggers pretending to know more about my family than I do; but I do have a good life. Yours can be, too. Just remember that celebrity and/or money mean that nothing will ever be the same -- and act accordingly.

The oldest member of 90s boy band phenomenom Hanson -- has become a dad. How old do you feel?!

26-year-old Isaac Hanson and his wife Nicole welcomed their son Clarke Everett Hanson on April 3 at an undisclosed hospital in the band's hometown of Tulsa, OK. About his new son, Isaac said, "His birth was an inspiration and I know that his presence in my life will continue to inspire me."

Let's hope the littlest Hanson doesn't turn out to be as troublesome as the pop band. Sources tell TMZ that Hanson was Oprah's "most difficult" guest ever, when they appeared on the top-rated talker during the height of their popularity.

Ryan O'Neal's son Griffin, who earlier this year allegedly attacked Ryan with a fireplace poker, has posted a pic of his new baby boy on his MySpace page. While the baby's name is unknown, the newborn appears wrapped in blankets and is featured as Griffin's main pic, baby's black eye and band-aid added by TMZ for drama.

Griffin now has three children with three different women. He has a 17-year-old daughter, Dillan, and a young son, Renny.

Griffin and Ryan were involved in a violent altercation at Ryan's Malibu home in February, in which Griffin allegedly swung a fireplace poker at his father, which supposedly led to Ryan firing a shot "into the banister." Griffin's then pregnant girlfriend, JoAnne Berry, received a black eye in the scuffle and recently gave birth to the MySpace tot. So far, no charges have been filed in the case.

Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown gave birth on Tuesday morning to a baby girl who may or may not be Eddie Murphy's daughter. TMZ has learned that last week, she was running around the shop with her mom, trying to get last minute items for the nursery. Among the trinkets Melanie picked up were an $850 custom-made bassinet and a $428 pink leather diaper bag. In total, Scary dropped a frightening $2000!

Fifteen minutes later, Melanie's former bandmate, Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham, came in for one of her typical retail escapades, forking over $1000 for a gift basket for an unknown friend. After the last Spice Girl left the building, a fellow shopper was overheard saying, "Which one is next?"

While Spice Girls reunion rumors are always swirling, it looks like for now, baby boutique crossings are as close as it's going to get. Zigazig ah!

Wesley Snipes is a daddy ... again.

TMZ has learned that the actor's wife, Nikki, gave birth to son Alimayu Moa-T on Monday. Both mom and baby are doing fine.

The front-runner in the ongoing saga of who fathered Anna Nicole Smith's baby, felt confident enough to prepare a wardrobe for little Dannielynn, now six months old.

Results of DNA tests are pending, along with Bahamian legal maneuvering by Stern. But, like her late mother, little Dannielynn will be ready for her close-up.

The mom-to-be was snapped leaving her CAA agent's Century City office on Friday, showing off her Oscar-nominated body of work.

Grandma Candy plunked down over $1700 for her new grandson at West Hollywood baby emporium Petit Tresor on Wednesday. Among the items Candy had an assistant order were a $1250 Mia Bossi leather diaper bag, a half dozen onesies and gowns, airplane booties and a babybot mobile.

Now that baby Liam Aaron has become the olive branch in the Tori vs. Candy grudge match, time will tell if it's the end to this latest Spelling drama ... or if Linda Evans will play Candy in the TV version!

It's been reported that Jolie and companion Brad Pitt will be adopting a Vietnam-born boy to join their international brood. Their other children are Zahara, from Ethiopia, and Shiloh Nouvel, born in Namibia.
