Daddy and daughter were spotted at 31 Flavors in the L.A. suburb of Los Feliz. While Angie stayed in the car, Zahara and Brad, in a snappy porkpie hat, were left to pick just one flavor all by themselves.

The tabs have been reporting that Brad and Angie hit the skids ... but their family outing seems to put that rumor in the deep freeze.

Sources tell TMZ that Pitt's Plan B production company is interested in turning James Scurlock's critically acclaimed documentary expose of America's obsession with credit card debt, "Maxed Out," into a feature film with a big Hollywood cast, in the vein of "Fast Food Nation." A well-placed TMZ source says that a Plan B rep contacted Scurlock's agent expressing how Pitt really enjoyed the docu's companion book, 'Maxed Out: Hard Times, Easy Credit and the Era of Predatory Lenders.'

TMZ has learned that shortly after Plan B's call, Scurlock's reps were contacted by DiCaprio's production shingle, Appian Way Productions, who revealed the same interest in the documentary. Hunky see, hunky do!

We're told neither production company has finalized any deals for the film's rights, but it could turn into Pitt's biggest brawl since "Troy."

"Maxed Out" is playing in select cities now.

A rep for DiCaprio told TMZ, "This story is bull. It sounds like someone is creating a bidding war to try and make a buck."

A rep for Plan B could not be reached.

In between Angie saving the world and Tori opening a Bed and Breakfast, both ladies recently picked up Hammitt's $600 Suzy leather diaper bag. No Babies "R" Us for these mamacitas! The two jilted actresses have been spotted around town a lot lately and share this in common: Both saw their men run off with gorgeous Oscar-winner/Goodwill Ambassador, Angelia Jolie. Girls, interrupted!

Although you may have heard that Brad Pitt allegedly hooked up with Jolie before after breaking up with Aniston, in 2000, Dern was reportedly still dating Billy Bob Thornton when he suddenly married Angie. Snap! Dern has since had two children with her husband, singer Ben Harper, while Jen is single and childless.

At least she has her friends!

It's been reported that Jolie and companion Brad Pitt will be adopting a Vietnam-born boy to join their international brood. Their other children are Zahara, from Ethiopia, and Shiloh Nouvel, born in Namibia.

The tot-adoptin' activists were snapped strolling with daughters Zahara and Shiloh after popping into one of N'awlins' great bakeries.

Their next trip will likely be to Vietnam, where they're said to be in the process of adopting another child.

Superstar do-gooders Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie showed off their beautiful daughters, Shiloh and Zahara, during a walk through New Orleans' French Quarter on Friday afternoon.

Looks like son Maddox opted to hang with his visiting grandparents. The Pitts are said to be considering another adoption from Vietnam.

Angelina's mother, Marcheline Bertrand, passed away on Saturday after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She had been living at L'Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The tragic news brought the supercouple back to Los Angeles after their relocation to New Orleans where Brad is shooting his latest film, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

Clad in his tough-guy motorcycle gear, Pitt went face-to-face with every photographer stationed outside of his Hollywood Hills mansion yesterday, making a personal plea for privacy. He's got a flair for the dramatic.

While many of the shutterbugs were moved by his efforts, most seemed disinterested and continued to flash away at the star, begging the question -- will you please take off the helmet?!

Pitt caused a lightning storm of flashes as he came out of his Plan B offices in Beverly Hills late last night. Between his shouts of "You guys are unbelievable," Papa Pitt whipped out his camera and took a few shots of his own.

Both mom and son wore gray, which matched the gray day (and the gray car). Apparently, Angie's got a thing for gray... she wore a battleship-colored dress to the Golden Globes.

But Maddox's smile was bright; who wouldn't like being picked up from school by a loving, movie star mom?

While the supercouple didn't show too many signs of affection throughout the telecast, once the cocktails were flowing, Brad planted a big wet one on Angie. Mama needs her some lovin'!

Although Brad lost out to Eddie Murphy for Best Supporting Actor, going home with Angelina is more than enough prize for any man.
