Avicii Friends Thought Drinking Problem Would Kill Him

Avicii's friends and family members feared the superstar's drinking problem would catch up to him in the months leading up to his death.

Autopsies were conducted on Avicii's body both Friday and Saturday. An official cause of death has not yet been released but cops say there is no indication of foul play.

Photos were also released inside his legendary vault containing shelves upon shelves of recordings ... many unreleased ... which we know the estate wants to release eventually.

The vault also stored tons of recording equipment, and large sums of cash.

Prince Deadly Gamble with Counterfeit Pills Laced with Multiple Drugs

Published | Updated

Fentanyl wasn't the only drug found in Prince's stash of counterfeit Vicodin pills -- in fact, they were laced with so many drugs ... there's no way he could have known exactly what he was taking when he popped one.

According to law enforcement, hundreds of the fake pills stamped "Watson 853" -- a brand of Vicodin -- were found around Paisley Park in several different non-prescription bottles. The pills were in over-the-counter bottles, such as Bayer, Aleve, and Target brand Vitamin C instead.

All of the pills were tested, and the results were a total mixed bag. Within in one bottle, some pills tested positive for lidocaine, some for fentanyl, some for lidocaine and fentanyl. Still others contained a combination of hydrocodone (generic Vicodin) and synthetic lidocaine.

Point is, almost none was actually Vicodin, and they appeared to contain almost a random cocktail of drugs -- even though they all looked exactly the same on the outside.

Carver County Prosecutor Mark Metz said Thursday it was likely Prince had no idea he was taking the fatal dose of fentanyl. Based on the lab results ... it seems impossible anyone taking those pills could know.

SCENE OF PRINCE'S DEATH

Cops just released video shot inside Prince's home the day they found him dead.

The Carver County Sheriff's Dept. is releasing all the records from its investigation on the heels of the County prosecutor announcing there will be no criminal charges in Prince's death. Those records include the videos and photos shot all over Paisley Park on April 21, 2016.

As we've reported, Prince was found lying on his back in front of an elevator door in the home. We've chosen not to show the image of his body.

The rest of the video gives you the point of view cops had as they entered the room where he was found. Dozens of Prince's records are on the walls in an extremely bright room.

There also photos inside his legendary vault showing recordings, large sums of cash and recording equipment stacked on shelves.

One pic shows a white powdery substance spilled out on a table with a bent spoon placed next to it. Looks ominous, however the spoon and cherry appear to be a replica of a Minnesota art piece.

There were 2 patches on Prince's body -- one on his leg, and one on his arm ... and we're told they were placed there by emergency responders when they attempted to revive him.

The files also include a video of Prince from April 20 ... as he walked into the office of Dr. Michael Schulenberg. As we reported, prosecutors say Dr. Schulenberg had written a Percocet prescription for Prince, but they don't believe it played a role in his death.

Sinead O'Connor told police Prince was a violent man who flew into drug-fueled rages against women, including herself.

Eleven days after Prince overdosed, Sinead was interviewed over the phone by Carver County Sheriff's investigators ... who have just released audio of that conversation, and she says Prince commonly "used hard drugs."

Sinead said, "I know this because I spent time with the man." She recalls it wasn't a pleasant experience, and claimed Prince "had been violent to a number of women in his life" ... some of whom she claims had to be hospitalized.

She also claimed Prince told her the real reason he didn't want to release his famous "Black Album" was because he'd taken drugs, and had a vision of God ... who told him to shelve the project.
