Christina Aguilera and her ex-husband Jordan Bratman have called a truce -- at least temporarily -- and got together for a beach playdate with their 5-year-old son this weekend.

It's pretty commendable that the Xtina and Jordan played nice -- considering they went through a pretty nasty divorce ... with Jordan initially refusing to move out of the family home and forcing Aguilera to move into a hotel.

But this weekend, it was all smiles in Venice Beach ... where J & C came together to escort little Max to a birthday party.

Lauren Silverman is pissed because she believes that her estranged hubby's friends are talking crap on her to TMZ, and what they are saying is a pack of lies, this according to close friends of Lauren.

Simon Cowell's baby mama is livid over our story that she has a hard choice to make -- move to Beverly Hills and live with Simon or stay in NY and live with her son. Her friends say she would never move away from New York.

Before Lauren totally flies off the handle she should note that our story says she's in the final stages of signing a lease for a NY apartment and is "setting up shop" in the Big Apple.

If Lauren's friends are telling the truth, it's an interesting twist because that would mean Simon would be living 2475 air miles away from his child.

Short Story: Lauren's got 2 baby daddies on separate coasts, so something's got to give.

Fred Ward is one of the most successful character actors in Hollywood ... unfortunately he's not so good at staying married ... his second wife just filed for divorce.

Ward's wife Marie-France Boisselle filed divorce docs in L.A. County Superior Court on August 8th citing irreconcilable differences. According to docs, the couple married in December 1995. They have no minor children together.

Ward is a pretty famous actor with about a million credits to his name: "Escape From Alcatraz", "Naked Gun 33 1/2", "Sweet Home Alabama", "United States of Tara", "2 Guns", "​Tremors​" the list goes on.

So it's not surprising ... Marie-France is asking Fred to cough up the spousal support.

Usher has denied every allegation his ex-wife has made in her motion to wrestle custody away from the singer in the wake of Usher Raymond V's nearly fatal pool accident -- he's even denied she's a good mom.

In the docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Usher is not specific about what he's denying ... he just denies, denies, denies.

Tameka Raymond made various allegations, including that Usher was an absentee parent for 85% of the month, that his aunt failed to properly supervise the boy at the swimming pool, and that he has said he'd prefer that the nanny raise his kids. Usher denied everything.

And there's this ... Tameka claims she's a capable mother. Usher denied that, too.

Heidi Klum and her rebound guy are getting super serious ... like, buying a house together serious ... and one of the places they're checking out is Katy Perry's L.A. mansion, TMZ has learned.

Heidi and her boyfriend Martin Kristen have been house hunting all over L.A. recently -- and sources tell us they're looking for a "family home" that has enough space for the couple and Heidi's 4 kids.

We're told Klum knows exactly what she wants -- she wants to be east of the 405 Freeway and needs 4 bedrooms for the kids that are ALL located on the same floor as the master.

Enter Katy Perry -- who still owns that incredible mansion in the Hollywood Hills that she purchased in 2012 with then-husband Russell Brand ... which has everything Klum is looking for.

Klum and Kristen biked over to the place last week to check out the 7 bedroom, 11 bathroom estate ... and we're told they were impressed.

It could be a perfect situation for Katy -- who recently reduced the asking price of her sprawling dream palace to $6.495 million hoping to motivate buyers.

Whoever snatches up the place is gonna get a helluva property -- it's like a real-life castle, complete with a lagoon-style pool and views to die for.

"Sons of Anarchy" villain Adam Arkin's wife has slammed the brakes on their marriage after nearly 15 years, TMZ has learned.

Phyllis Lyons filed the divorce docs in L.A. County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.

It was a very recent split -- the couple was married in 1998 and just separated on Monday. They have one 8-year-old son.

The property settlement is still up in the air, but Phyllis wants to block the court from awarding Adam spousal support. Adam's rep had no comment.

Fun fact: Adam is the son of Oscar-winning actor Alan Arkin from "Argo" and "Little Miss Sunshine."

Terrence Howard's ex-wife filed legal docs with a graphic allegation -- that the actor sucker punched her in the face, grabbed her by the neck and threw her against the wall.

In the docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Michelle Ghent alleges the brutality occurred during a trip last week to Costa Rica. She says the fight started after she told Terrence she had no interest in firing up a relationship with him -- they divorced in May.

Michelle says after Terrence hit her, he glared at her and walked over to a bedside table where he kept 2 curved knives -- 4-6 inches in length.

Michelle says she panicked and then pepper sprayed him. At that point she claims Terrence knocked her down and then kicked her repeatedly in the head.

In addition to the black eye, Michelle says she suffered contusions and swelling.

And, she says, he referred to a prior warning he had given her on a trip to Bora Bora -- threatening to kill her.

For his part, Terrence claims in his legal docs that she made up the story to damage him, timing it for his movie premiere of "The Butler." Terrence claims she threatened to kill him and he believes she's serious. He also says she's been admitted to a psych hospital in the past.

Terrence Howard's ex-wife Michelle Ghent has just obtained a temporary restraining order against the actor -- claiming he beat her up during a blowout fight in Costa Rica last week -- and she showed up to court Tuesday with a scary black eye.

According to the order, Terrence is forbidden from coming within 100 yards of Michelle pending another hearing later this month. He is also barred from contacting her in any way.

During the hearing, Michelle's lawyer discussed the text messages Michelle allegedly sent to Terrence in May -- threatening to kill him and his family -- but argued they were misleading and incomplete. The mysterious black eye was NOT discussed in court

As for Terrence, he filed his own request for a restraining order, but that was not granted. The judge said the court would hear his side of things at the next hearing.

As we reported, Michelle says Terrence physically abused her during the argument in Costa Rica while she was on vacation with him and his family.

Terrence Howard's ex-wife threatened to kill him and his family during an argument last week in Costa Rica ... this according a police report obtained by TMZ.

TMZ broke the story ... Michelle Ghent is going to court this morning ... claiming Terrence physically abused her during the argument. She wants a restraining order against the actor.

Terrence tells a radically different story. According to the police report, the two of them had "a normal married fight" (even though they divorced in May), but he says things escalated when she threatened to kill him and his family, and then pulled out pepper spray and attacked him, his kids and his son-in-law.

Terrence denies laying a finger on her, and says he only told her to stop as he retreated.

We've learned in today's hearing, Terrence will give the judge text messages from last May, in which an angry Michelle writes, "I would start hiding if I were u." In another text she writes, "Be careful when u leave your place. U should move." And in yet another she writes, "I know where u and ur family live. Watch yourself."

Michelle also texted back in May, "You need to be put down once and for all. I will not stop until all knows who u are."

In the police report Terrence says Michelle tried to commit suicide 2 months ago and was hospitalized and diagnosed with paranoia. And she seems to confirm that in one of the texts, in which she says, "I'm just insane. I went to a crazy institute."

Black Keys singer Dan Auerbach is in a feud with Jack White ... but it pales in comparison to the all-out divorce war Dan has been having with his estranged wife.

The allegations in Dan's divorce from Stephanie Gonis are shocking. For starters, he claims she tried to commit suicide twice in one day -- the first time by allegedly gashing open her leg and ankles in front of their daughter ... the second time by almost burning their house down.

Stephanie fired back in her own legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- claiming the leg-gashing "suicide" attempt was the result of years of abuse during the marriage. As for the fire ... she says it was just an accident.

According to docs, Stephanie voluntarily committed herself and spent time in a treatment center.

A judge has given Dan temporary custody of their daughter. Stephanie gets supervised visitation for now. The judge won't give her additional parental rights until he's convinced she's mentally stable and is not putting their daughter at risk.

Terrence Howard has been accused by his ex-wife of beating her badly during a heated argument in Costa Rica ... TMZ has learned.

Michelle Ghent -- who divorced Terrence in May but hooked up with him again recently ... took a trip with Terrence and several of his family members to Costa Rica last week. Sources say an argument erupted and she claims Terrence beat her up.

We've learned Terrence claims Michelle maced him, his adult daughter and another family member. Police were called and reports were taken.

Sources say Terrence made up the mace story to cover his brutality. Other sources connected to Terrence say Michelle is lying about the actor physically abusing her.

We've learned Michelle is going to court in an attempt to get a restraining order ... forcing Terrence to stay clear of her.

TMZ previously reported ... Michelle has accused Terrence of slugging her in the face and neck. She also claimed the brutality started just 7 days after they were married.

Simon Cowell is upset ... very upset he's in the middle of what is becoming a bitter divorce between Andrew Silverman and Simon's soon-to-be baby mama Lauren Silverman, and he's pressuring her to settle ... sources with direct knowledge of the situation tell TMZ.

We're told Simon HATES the bad publicity, which he feels is making him look like an underhanded cad. Our sources say Simon has painted a clear picture to Lauren -- the money she'll get from Andrew is minimal because of their prenup, so any significant cash will come from Mr. X Factor himself.

We're told Lauren is nervous and doesn't want to upset Simon, so she's feeling the heat. Her problem -- she and Andrew are at odds over custody of their 7-year-old son, and she feels she may have to give too much in order to end things and appease Simon.

Although both sides have said they want to resolve the divorce amicably for the sake of their kids, we can tell you there's a lot of bad blood on both sides and it's getting really nasty.

Andrew Silverman is PISSED after reading the TMZ post Saturday, in which close friends of Lauren told us she's upset at allegations she cheated on him ... because she says he knew about her relationship with Simon Cowell from the get go.

A close friend of the couple tells TMZ ... the notion that Andrew knew about the relationship is ridiculous, adding "She knows this isn't true."

Another thing that pissed Andrew off ... that sources told us Lauren was upset at stones being cast at her because Andrew partied with girls all over the world (though she never used the word "cheating.").

Andrew's friend tells us Andrew says it sounds like "a desperate attempt to smear him."

And the plot thickens. Lauren's lawyer fired off an email to us, saying a lot of the comments attributed to his client are inaccurate, though he doesn't specify which. He also says Lauren and Andrew are trying to settle the divorce privately.

As for Andrew ... the friend says "The two of them have been spending time trying to sort it out and keep things as normal as possible for the kid and this doesn't help."

Simon Cowell is in plenty of hot water ... which is what happens when you bang your friends wife and knock her up. Now Andrew Silverman is fighting Lauren for custody of their kid in a bitter divorce. So we gotta ask ...

UPDATE: We got an email from Lauren's lawyer, saying "Many of the statements [in our story] are simply inaccurate," though he does not specify which. He adds the parties are trying to settle the case confidentially, on a "private basis."

Lauren Silverman -- the woman who is pregnant with Simon Cowell's baby -- is telling close friends she is outraged at her estranged husband's "shock" that Simon was banging her ... because she says he knew what was going on the whole time and he was doing the same thing.

Sources close to Lauren tell TMZ ... Lauren is bitching that she hooked up with Simon partly because her estranged husband Andrew Silverman was cavorting around the world and partying with girls on various continents.

What's more ... Lauren is telling her friends her relationship with Simon evolved right in front of Andrew and he never said he had a problem with it -- it was a tacit mutual understanding.

Lauren is saying she would speak to Simon several times a day on the telephone and Andrew knew they were talking.

Lauren says she visited Simon in England several times and Andrew had no problem with the trips -- and it was obvious what was going on.

Lauren is beyond pissed that Andrew is now feigning shock, because she says he knew everything from the get go.

As for their divorce, Lauren is telling friends, there are no real money issues. The real sticking point is their 7-year-old son. Andrew wants full custody but Lauren is saying no way in hell will he get that.

Simon Cowell's ex-fiancée is doing something rarely seen in Hollywood -- treating his baby news like a bonafide adult because she's actually HAPPY for him ... sources tell TMZ.

After news broke Cowell knocked up Lauren Silverman ... it was reported that his ex-fiancée of two years Mezhgan Hussainy was devastated, thinking it should have been her.

Sources close to Mezhgan tell us, that couldn't be further from the truth. She and Simon have remained close since their split -- they're good friends and talk almost every day.

In fact, Simon told Mezhgan about the baby weeks ago -- and she immediately called Lauren, who she's also friends with, to offer her congrats and support ... knowing how stressful the media attention can be.

Bottom line: she's thrilled for the couple. As long as Simon's happy, she's happy.
