Selena Gomez has turned her back on former BFFs Kendall and Kylie Jenner because she wants to focus on what's really important -- MUSIC -- and thinks the Jenners are nothing but a toxic distraction ... sources tell TMZ.

Sources close to Selena tell us, the singer had an epiphany after Coachella last week -- where she was surrounded by booze and drugs while hanging with the Jenner girls, Justin Bieber ... and all the hangers-on that come with them.

We're told Selena's sick of that scene -- so she's decided to cut out what she considers the biggest sources of negativity ... Jenner girls included.

Selena made the cut official, and public ... by unfollowing Kendall and Kylie on Instagram. She also deleted all her Coachella selfies with the sisters.

The Insta-purge continued ... with Bieber and a bunch of others getting dropped -- and, in fact, she's currently following ZERO people.

We're told Selena is determined to stay on the straight and narrow -- focusing on music and, get this ... going to church almost daily.

Makes ya think ... must've been one helluva party at Coachella.

General admission tickets to the annual festival cost around $400 bucks ... but V.I.P tickets -- which we're guessing they bought -- run for $800.

Must be nice.

We don't know for sure if Justin Bieber was stoned Sunday ... who are we kidding, he dropped more than $240 on fast Mexican food -- of course he was.

Justin and crew rolled up to celebrity hotspot Pinches Tacos on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood on his way to Coachella and dropped $185 on a South of the boarder feast, consisting of:

-- 13 steak tacos
-- 9 chicken tostadas
-- 8 chicken tacos
-- 3 taco plates
-- 1 steak burrito
-- 1 chicken burrito
-- 4 orders of chips and salsa
-- 10 bottles of water
-- 9 Mexican sodas

Justin waited in a Mercedes van while someone from his crew picked up the grub and left a $55 tip, on Justin's credit card.

Ese Pinches Bieber.

Forget dancing lessons, Leonardo DiCaprio needs SPARRING lessons -- because his friend made easy work of him during a play fight at Coachella this weekend ... and the video is hilarious.

Leo was hanging with friends at Diddy's Revolt party Sunday -- we're told the boys got rowdy and somehow Leo ended up locking horns with a friend ... a friend who happens to have a background in MMA.

It's harmless roughhousing -- but Leo never stood a chance. He's lucky his friend didn't pull the "stop hitting yourself" thing.

Even Justin Bieber's hideous hat choices can't keep Selena Gomez away -- the two got up close and personal at Coachella this weekend, despite the fact that Bieber was literally dressed like a newborn baby at the beach.

Wearing sunglasses and a bonnet, Bieber stood beside Gomez during Jhene Aiko's set on Sunday -- and we're told they were hanging together all day. At one point, we're told Selena was sitting on Justin's lap.

It's definitely Justin in the photo too -- earlier in the day, he was wearing the exact same humiliating outfit onstage with Chance the Rapper.

We're calling it "90s street thug beach baby" chic.

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie don't look like people that recently separated ... instead, they were hanging together at Coachella this weekend looking every bit the married couple.

Duff and her NHL player hubby announced their separation back in January, but still managed to take a family vacation together over Valentine's Day (see below).

Perhaps this relationship isn't over until the divorce attorney sings.

One talks about Jesus, the other just looks like him ... but on Palm Sunday, Pope Francis and Jared Leto were joined together through the incredible power of the selfie.

Pope Francis was in St. Peter's Square -- a massive plaza located directly in front of St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City -- greeting fans following a service for more than 100,000 people.

Meanwhile in Jerusalem at Coachella, Leto posed for photos with his many followers during the weekend festival.

All these photos are missing is a donkey and some branches.

Leonardo DiCaprio is good looking, an amazing actor and ... quite possibly the worst dancer at Coachella -- unless this video of him getting his groove on is someone else.

The video was posted online Saturday night -- it was later removed -- and appears to be 13 amazing seconds of Leo dancing terribly during MGMT's set.

We found it hard to believe it's Leo in the video ... but after searching through tons of photos he appears to have been wearing the same thing for most of the day.

It also looks a lot like his dance skills in "Wolf of Wall Street."

So, we gotta ask ...

The first couple of hip hop made their mark on Coachella Saturday ... surprising two different audiences with unannounced appearances -- and the hipsters went BONKERS!

First up, Beyonce ... who danced her way onto the stage during little sister Solange's set. However Queen Bey didn't grace the Indio crowd with a single note.

Next, Jay Z ... who rapped alongside his former nemesis Nas for a few minutes -- then made his swift exit from the festival.

Angry Instagram users, put down your pitchforks ... all the hipsters sharing photos at Coachella didn't crash the site Saturday morning -- Instagram says the blame lies elsewhere.

Insta users were in a panic this morning after the photo sharing site went down around 9:30 am ... and some of the Coachella-related tweets were hilarious.

David Spade said, "Instagram is down. Does that mean they cancel Coachella? I mean what's the point of going now. To hear music??"

Another person posed the question, "If Instagram is down, does Coachella even really exist?"

Instagram says it was a "feed delivery issue" ... but the site appears to be working now.

The Purple One doesn't make the trek out to Coachella for just any performance ... but when it's rap duo Outkast reuniting after 8 years, Prince makes an exception.

Big Boi and Andre 3000 headlined night one of the annual concert -- performing their biggest hits like "Bombs Over Baghdad" and "So Fresh, So Clean."

Halfway through the gig Andre got all fanboy when he couldn't resist telling the crowd his idol Prince was watching from the side of the stage. It's pretty cool to see him so humbled.

One, two, three o'clock, four o'clock rock ... and if you're partying with Lindsay Lohan at Coachella -- it may go even later.

Lilo and her brother Michael hit up the Flaunt magazine after party Friday following night one of Coachella ... and according to the photog, they split at around 3:30 am.

Not bad, considering the concert ended around 12:30ish.

As we previously reported ... Lindsay made her yearly vow to stay sober at the annual music festival -- known for good music and drugs.

Lindsay Lohan loves temptation -- she is on a plane to Coachella right now ... and TMZ has learned she is telling her friends she will 100% NOT fall off the wagon.

According to our sources, Lindsay is aware that going to the festival -- famous for great music and drugs -- is a risk to her sobriety, but she has been promising people she is going to stay sober.

Lindsay has been a mainstay at the festival (long before it went mainstream) and goes with her siblings every year. She made this same sober promise last year, famously hitting Coachella right before checking into rehab.

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Outkast might not be the only hip-hop reunion this weekend at Coachella ... because Romeo says the No Limit boys are going to be there too.

Our photog nonchalantly asked Romeo if he was headed to the festival ... when he dropped the bombshell about a "surprise No Limit performance."  He described it as a "90s surprise" but wouldn't elaborate any further.

There's really only one thing to say when we hear news this awesome ...

Lindsay Lohan stuck to her guns this weekend at Coachella ... telling TMZ, she followed through on her promise NOT to take a sip of booze the entire weekend -- AND WHY WOULD SHE LIE????
