Coachella weekend one may have come to an end, but thanks to social media ... the memories will live on forever.

It was all about Guns N' Roses Saturday at Coachella ... clearly the highlight of the festival.

Axl and the boys slayed with "Sweet Child O' Mine," and went on for an astounding 3 hours ... well, a skosh shy of 3 hours.

Axl was confined to his throne -- courtesy of fellow broken-legger Dave Grohl -- but midway through their set he brought on Angus Young, telling the crowd someone needed to jump around the stage.

BTW ... AC/DC announced Axl will be their lead singer for their world tour, because Brian Johnson was in such bad shape hearing-wise he was afraid he'd go deaf on the road.

Kesha ended her self-imposed exile Saturday night, joining Zedd on stage at Coachella.

She hasn't performed since her feud with Sony and Dr. Luke erupted, but it was just like riding a bike, because she sounds awesome.

Unclear if there's any symbolism in her song choice ... "True Colors."

Coachella was the place for music Saturday, with an awesome lineup.

Axl, O'Shea Jackson, Ice Cube, Zedd, Kesha, Snoop, Skrillex and lots of others performers hit the stage .. and no one failed to please.

Coachella is gunning for anyone who bought a VIP pass to rub elbows with the likes of Axl Rose or Slash ... because it might be illegal and the cause of a lawsuit.

Goldenvoice, the company that puts on the fest, filed a lawsuit Wednesday against events company Particle, and its owner Denise Kozlowski, for deceiving people it was authorized to peddle a package including a VIP, guest, or artist pass.

Coachella says it's the only one who can sell tickets for the fest -- and it can't have third parties scalping those tickets because it creates a huge safety risk for performers.

Coachella fans opting out of fancy hotels, condos or mansions ... can park their asses and their horses at a huge 3 day camping party.

Vestal Village is an invite-only camping party that coincides with the Coachella festival. VV is going down at a secret location in the desert outside Palm Springs -- but we've uncovered a few clues about the scene that's been planned.

For one, we're told there will be stalls to accommodate horses and horseback rides -- however, BYOH. There will also be an Olympic sized pool and a lake. Eagles of Death Metal are headlining the event, which is sponsored by Vestal Watch, Gevitta and Estrella Damm.

We're told they're expecting about 6,000 people to attend the massive Coachella after parties.

Hoodchella -- the upstart L.A. music festival -- isn't backing down from a fight with Coachella and vows to move forward despite a $100 million lawsuit.

Hoodchella CEO Kamil Al-Ahdali tells TMZ he's not even considering canceling his April event. Coachella sued Kamil, accusing him of jacking the 'chella name and riding the more famous festival's coattails.

Kamil says he has a trademark for Hoodchella and even registered it as an LLC. He thinks Coachella's lawsuit is just a case of the big guy bullying the little guy -- but Kamil says his lawyers are "not going to let Coachella punk Hoodchella at all."
