Pei Chung began menacing restaurants in Brooklyn this past October ... her M.O. involved running up a tab with pricey items before complaining she couldn't pay her bill, which resulted in eight arrests, according to the New York Post.

She may end up facing a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement hearing and the possibility of being deported.

The New York Post reports she was ordered by a judge Wednesday to get a psychiatric evaluation ... her attorney told the judge Chung doesn't comprehend the charges against her and asked for the evaluation. Chung did not appear in court.

Officers were called to a residence on reports of screaming and gunshots shortly after 6 PM Wednesday, according to the Tiffin Police Department, where they found the four victims with gunshot wounds.

Police say the mother of the two children -- a 7-year-old and a 7-month-old -- went to the suspect's house earlier to move her things out while the suspect -- identified as Ryan Eagon, her husband -- was believed to have been out of town. The 7-month-old was also pronounced dead at the scene -- that child's father was not identified. The 7-year-old and Dustin Willey were both hospitalized, where they both died.

The Thursday scene was picture perfect until you remember the Theranos founder is serving an 11-year sentence for defrauding investors in her failed blood-testing company. She's been locked up since May 2023.

But none of that dampened the mood for Holmes and Evans' kids, William and Invicta. They had a great time, completely oblivious of Holmes' documentary crew which was reportedly nearby in an unmarked white van.
